Psalms 111

1 Praise Yah. I will praise Yhwh with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. പരമാർഥികളുടെ സമിതിയിലും സഭയിലും പൂർണഹൃദയത്തോടെ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തും.

2 The works of Yhwh are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ വലിയവ; അവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നവരൊക്കെയും അവ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നു.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ മഹത്ത്വവും തേജസ്സും ഉള്ളവ, അവിടത്തെ നീതി എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: Yhwh is gracious and full of compassion.

തന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടാൻ അവിടന്ന് ഇടവരുത്തി; യഹോവ കരുണാമയനും കൃപാലുവും ആകുന്നു.

5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.

തന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്ക് അവിടന്ന് ഭക്ഷണം നൽകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി എന്നേക്കും ഓർക്കുന്നു.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

ഇതര ജനതകളുടെ ഓഹരി തന്റെ ജനത്തിനു നൽകി അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ശക്തി അവർക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

അവിടത്തെ കരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ വിശ്വസ്തവും നീതിനിഷ്ഠവുമാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യമാണ്.

8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

അവ എന്നെന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു ഹൃദയപരമാർഥതയിലും വിശ്വസ്തതയിലും അവ പ്രാവർത്തികമാക്കുന്നു.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ജനത്തിന് വീണ്ടെടുപ്പ് നൽകുന്നു; തന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി അവിടന്ന് എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി ഉറപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു— അവിടത്തെ നാമം പരിശുദ്ധവും അത്ഭുതാവഹവും ആകുന്നു.

10 The fear of Yhwh is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

യഹോവാഭക്തി ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ ഉറവിടമാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും നല്ല വിവേകമുണ്ട്. നിത്യമഹത്ത്വം അവിടത്തേക്കുള്ളത്.
