< Psalms 110 >

1 Yhwh said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Psalmus David. Dixit Dominus Domino meo: Sede a dextris meis: Donec ponam inimicos tuos, scabellum pedum tuorum.
2 Yhwh shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Virgam virtutis tuae emittet Dominus ex Sion: dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
Tecum principium in die virtutis tuae in splendoribus sanctorum: ex utero ante luciferum genui te.
4 Yhwh hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Iuravit Dominus, et non poenitebit eum: Tu es sacerdos in aeternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
Dominus a dextris tuis, confregit in die irae suae reges.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
Iudicabit in nationibus, implebit ruinas: conquassabit capita in terra multorum.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.
De torrente in via bibit: propterea exaltabit caput.
