< Proverbs 17 >
1 Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
Ⱪurbanliⱪ gɵxlirigǝ tolƣan jedǝllik ɵydin, Bir qixlǝm ⱪuruⱪ nan yǝp, kɵngül tinqliⱪta bolƣan ǝwzǝl.
2 A wise servant shall have rule over a son that causeth shame, and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.
Hizmǝtkar qewǝr bolsa, hojisining nomusta ⱪoyƣuqi oƣlini baxⱪurar; Kǝlgüsidǝ u hojining oƣli ⱪatarida turup uning mirasni tǝⱪsim ⱪilar.
3 The fining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: But Yhwh trieth the hearts.
Sapal ⱪazan kümüxni tawlar, qanaⱪ altunni tawlar, Biraⱪ adǝmning ⱪǝlbini Pǝrwǝrdigar sinar.
4 A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
Ⱪǝbiⱨ kixi yaman sɵzlǝrgǝ ixinǝr; Yalƣanqi pitniqilǝrning sɵzigǝ ⱪulaⱪ salar.
5 Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker: and he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.
Miskinlǝrni mǝshirǝ ⱪilƣuqi, ɵzini Yaratⱪuqini ⱨaⱪarǝtligüqidur; Baxⱪilarning bǝhtsizlikidin huxal bolƣan kixi jazasiz ⱪalmas.
6 Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
Ⱪerilarning nǝwriliri ularning tajidur; Pǝrzǝntlǝrning pǝhri ularning atiliridur.
7 Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
Əhmǝⱪ yarixiⱪ gǝp ⱪilsa uningƣa yaraxmas; Mɵtiwǝr yalƣan sɵzlisǝ uningƣa tehimu yaraxmas.
8 A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth.
Para — uni bǝrgüqining nǝziridǝ esil bir gɵⱨǝrdur; Goya uni nǝgila ixlǝtsǝ muwǝppǝⱪiyǝtkǝ erixidiƣandǝk.
9 He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
Baxⱪilarning hataliⱪini yoputup kǝqürgǝn kixi meⱨir-muⱨǝbbǝtni kɵzlǝr; Kona hamanni soriƣan kixi yeⱪin dostlarni düxmǝn ⱪilar.
10 A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.
Aⱪilanigǝ singgǝn bir eƣiz tǝnbiⱨ, Əhmǝⱪⱪǝ urulƣan yüz dǝrridin ünümlüktur.
11 An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.
Yamanlar pǝⱪǝt asiyliⱪni kɵzlǝr; Uni jazalaxⱪa rǝⱨimsiz bir ǝlqi ǝwǝtilǝr.
12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
Əhmiⱪanǝ ix ⱪiliwatⱪan nadan kixigǝ uqrap ⱪalƣandin kɵrǝ, Baliliridin ayrilƣan eyiⱪⱪa yoluⱪup ⱪalƣan yahxi.
13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
Kimki yahxiliⱪⱪa yamanliⱪ ⱪilsa, Ixikidin bala-ⱪaza neri kǝtmǝs.
14 The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.
Jedǝlning baxlinixi tosmini su elip kǝtkǝngǝ ohxaydu; Xunga jedǝl partlaxtin awwal talax-tartixtin ⱪol üzgin.
15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to Yhwh.
Yamanni aⱪliƣan, Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniyƣa ⱪara qapliƣan, Ohxaxla Pǝrwǝrdigarƣa yirginqliktur.
16 Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it?
Əhmǝⱪning kɵngli danaliⱪni ǝtiwarlimisa, Ⱪandaⱪmu uning ⱪolida danaliⱪni setiwalƣudǝk puli bolsun?
17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
[Ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy] dost ⱨǝrdaim sanga muⱨǝbbǝt kɵrsitǝr, [Ⱨǝⱪiⱪiy] ⱪerindax yaman kününg üqün yardǝmgǝ dunyaƣa kǝlgǝndur.
18 A man void of understanding striketh hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend.
Əⱪilsiz kixi ⱪol berip, Yeⱪini üqün kepil bolidu.
19 He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.
Jedǝlgǝ amraⱪ gunaⱨⱪa amraⱪtur; Bosuƣini egiz ⱪilƣan ⱨalakǝtni izdǝr.
20 He that hath a perverse heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief.
Niyiti buzulƣan yahxiliⱪ kɵrmǝs; Tilida ⱨǝⱪ-naⱨǝⱪni astin-üstün ⱪilƣuqi balaƣa yoluⱪar.
21 He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy.
Bala ǝhmǝⱪ bolsa, ata ƣǝm-ⱪayƣuƣa patar; Ⱨamaⱪǝtning atisi huxalliⱪ kɵrmǝs.
22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Xad kɵngül xipaliⱪ doridǝk tǝngǝ dawadur; Sunuⱪ roⱨ-dil adǝmning yilikini ⱪurutar.
23 A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.
Qirik adǝm yǝng iqidǝ parini ⱪobul ⱪilar; U adalǝtning yolini burmilar.
24 Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.
Danaliⱪ yorutulƣan kixining kɵz aldida turar; Biraⱪ ǝⱪilsizning kɵzi hiyalkǝxlik ⱪilip ⱪutupta yürǝr.
25 A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.
Galwang bala atini azabƣa salar; Uni tuƣⱪuqiningmu dǝrdi bolar.
26 Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity.
Ⱨǝⱪⱪaniylarƣa jǝrimanǝ ⱪoyuxⱪa ⱪǝt’iy bolmas; Əmirlǝrni adalǝtni ⱪolliƣini üqün dumbalaxⱪa bolmas.
27 He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
Bilimi bar kixi kǝm sɵzlük bolar; Yorutulƣan adǝm ⱪaltis eƣir-besiⱪ bolar.
28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
Ⱨǝtta ǝhmǝⱪmu az sɵzlisǝ dana ⱨesablinar; Tilini tizginligǝn kixi danixmǝn sanilar.
