Leviticus 19
1 And Yhwh spake unto Moses, saying,
യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:
2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I Yhwh your God am holy.
നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധനാകയാൽ നിങ്ങളും വിശുദ്ധരായിരിപ്പിൻ.
3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am Yhwh your God.
നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ അമ്മയെയും അപ്പനെയും ഭയപ്പെടേണം; എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Yhwh your God.
വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയരുതു; ദേവന്മാരെ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto Yhwh, ye shall offer it at your own will.
യഹോവെക്കു സമാധാനയാഗം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അർപ്പിക്കേണം.
6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.
അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന ദിവസവും പിറ്റെന്നാളും അതു തിന്നാം; മൂന്നാം ദിവസംവരെ ശേഷിക്കുന്നതു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.
7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.
മൂന്നാം ദിവസം തിന്നു എന്നുവരികിൽ അതു അറെപ്പാകുന്നു; പ്രസാദമാകയില്ല.
8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of Yhwh: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
അതു തിന്നുന്നവൻ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും; യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായതു അവൻ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയല്ലോ; അവനെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.
9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.
നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലത്തിലെ വിള നിങ്ങൾ കൊയ്യുമ്പോൾ വയലിന്റെ അരികു തീർത്തുകൊയ്യരുതു; നിന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തിൽ കാലാ പെറുക്കയും അരുതു.
10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am Yhwh your God.
നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ കാലാ പറിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിൽ വീണുകിടക്കുന്ന പഴം പെറുക്കയും അരുതു. അവയെ ദരിദ്രന്നും പരദേശിക്കും വിട്ടേക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു, ചതിക്കരുതു, ഒരുത്തനോടു ഒരുത്തൻ ഭോഷ്കുപറയരുതു.
12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Yhwh.
എന്റെ നാമത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു കള്ളസ്സത്യം ചെയ്തു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.
കൂട്ടുകാരനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ വസ്തു കവർച്ച ചെയ്കയും അരുതു; കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ കൂലി പിറ്റേന്നു രാവിലെവരെ നിന്റെ പക്കൽ ഇരിക്കരുതു.
14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am Yhwh.
ചെകിടനെ ശപിക്കരുതു; കുരുടന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടർച്ച വെക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിൽ അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു; എളിയവന്റെ മുഖം നോക്കാതെയും വലിയവന്റെ മുഖം ആദരിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു നീതിയോടെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കേണം.
16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am Yhwh.
നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ ഏഷണി പറഞ്ഞു നടക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ മരണത്തിന്നായി നിഷ്കർഷിക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
സഹോദരനെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദ്വേഷിക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ പാപം നിന്റെ മേൽ വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ അവനെ താല്പര്യമായി ശാസിക്കേണം. പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യരുതു.
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am Yhwh.
നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മക്കളോടു പക വെക്കരുതു; കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം. രണ്ടുതരം മൃഗങ്ങളെ തമ്മിൽ ഇണ ചേർക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ വയലിൽ കൂട്ടുവിത്തു വിതെക്കരുതു; രണ്ടു വക സാധനം കലർന്ന വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കരുതു.
20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.
ഒരു പുരുഷന്നു നിയമിച്ചവളും വീണ്ടെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയോ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്തവളുമായ ഒരു ദാസിയോടുകൂടെ ഒരുത്തൻ ശയിച്ചാൽ അവരെ ശിക്ഷിക്കേണം. എന്നാൽ അവൾ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമില്ലാത്തവളായാൽ അവരെ കൊല്ലരുതു;
21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto Yhwh, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.
അവൻ യഹൊവെക്കു അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നായി സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before Yhwh for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.
അവൻ ചെയ്ത പാപത്തിന്നായി പുരോഹിതൻ അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്റെ ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ അവൻ ചെയ്ത പാപം അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.
23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.
നിങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തു എത്തി ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു ഉതകുന്ന സകലവിധവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നട്ടശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവയുടെ ഫലം പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു മൂന്നു സംവത്സരത്തേക്കു പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്തതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അതു തിന്നരുതു.
24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise Yhwh withal.
നാലാം സംവത്സരത്തിൽ അതിന്റെ ഫലമെല്ലാം യഹോവയുടെ സ്തോത്രത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.
25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am Yhwh your God.
അഞ്ചാം സംവത്സരത്തിലോ നിങ്ങൾക്കു അതിന്റെ ഫലം തിന്നാം; അങ്ങനെ അതിന്റെ അനുഭവം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വർദ്ധിച്ചുവരും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.
രക്തത്തോടുകൂടിയുള്ളതു തിന്നരുതു; ആഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു; മുഹൂർത്തം നോക്കരുതു;
27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.
നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമുടി ചുറ്റും വിളുമ്പു വടിക്കരുതു; താടിയുടെ അറ്റം വിരൂപമാക്കരുതു.
28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am Yhwh.
മരിച്ചവന്നുവേണ്ടി ശരീരത്തിൽ മുറിവുണ്ടാക്കരുതു; മെയ്മേൽ പച്ചകുത്തരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
ദേശം വേശ്യാവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു ദുഷ്കർമ്മംകൊണ്ടു നിറയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ മകളെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിക്കു ഏല്പിക്കരുതു.
30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am Yhwh.
നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകൾ പ്രമാണിക്കയും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തോടു ഭയഭക്തിയുള്ളവരായിരിക്കയും വേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am Yhwh your God.
വെളിച്ചപ്പാടന്മാരുടെയും മന്ത്രവാദികളുടെയും അടുക്കൽ പോകരുതു. അവരാൽ അശുദ്ധരായ്തീരുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവരെ അന്വേഷിക്കയും അരുതു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am Yhwh.
നരച്ചവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ എഴുന്നേൽക്കയും വൃദ്ധന്റെ മുഖം ബഹുമാനിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും വേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
പരദേശി നിന്നോടുകൂടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു പാർത്താൽ അവനെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കരുതു.
34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am Yhwh your God.
നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശി നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്വദേശിയെപ്പോലെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങളും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പരദേശികളായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിലും അളവിലും തൂക്കത്തിലും നിങ്ങൾ അന്യായം ചെയ്യരുതു.
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am Yhwh your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
ഒത്ത തുലാസ്സും ഒത്ത കട്ടിയും ഒത്ത പറയും ഒത്ത ഇടങ്ങഴിയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am Yhwh.
നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ എല്ലാചട്ടങ്ങളും സകലവിധികളും പ്രമാണിച്ചു അനുസരിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
