Judges 20
1 Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, with the land of Gilead, unto Yhwh in Mizpeh.
၁ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည်၊ ဂိလဒ် ပြည် သားတို့နှင့်တကွ ထ လျက် ၊ ဒန် မြို့မှစ၍ ဗေရရှေဘ မြို့တိုင်အောင် ပရိသတ် အပေါင်းတို့သည် တယောက် သောသူ ကဲ့သို့ မိဇပါ မြို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်၌ စည်းဝေး ကြ၏။
2 And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.
၂ဣသရေလ အမျိုး အနွယ်အပေါင်း ၊ ပြည်သား အပေါင်း တို့၏ အကြီးအကဲတို့သည် စည်းဝေး ကြသော်၊ ဘုရား သခင်၏လူ ၊ ထား လက်နက်စွဲကိုင် သော ခြေသည် သူရဲ လေးသိန်း နှင့်တကွချဉ်းကပ် ကြ၏။
3 ( Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?
၃ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် မိဇပါ မြို့သို့ သွား ကြောင်း ကို ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ကြား သိကြ၏။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့က၊ ထို အဓမ္မ အမှုကားအဘယ်သို့ နည်းဟု မေးမြန်း လျှင်၊
4 And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.
၄အသေ ခံရသောမိန်းမ ၏လင် လေဝိ လူ က၊ အကျွန်ုပ် သည် မယားငယ် နှင့်အတူ လာ ၍ ဗင်္ယာမိန် ခရိုင်၊ ဂိဗာ မြို့မှာ ညဉ့် ကို လွန်စေပါ၏။
5 And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.
၅ညဉ့် အခါ ဂိဗာ မြို့သား တို့သည် ထ ၍ အကျွန်ုပ် တည်းခိုသောအိမ် ကို ဝိုင်း လျက်၊ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို တိုက်သတ် မည် အားထုတ် ကြပါ၏။ မယားငယ် သေ သည်တိုင်အောင်ရှုတ်ချ ကြပါ၏။
6 And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.
၆အကျွန်ုပ် သည်လည်း မယားငယ် အကောင်ကိုယူ ၍ အပိုင်းပိုင်းဖြတ် ပြီးမှ ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး အမွေခံ ရာ ပြည် တရှောက်လုံး သို့ ပေး လိုက်ပါ၏။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ ဆိုးညစ် သောအမှု၊ အဓမ္မ အမှုကို ပြု ကြပါပြီ။
7 Behold, ye are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel.
၇သင် တို့ရှိသမျှ သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ဖြစ်ကြပါ၏။ ဤ အရပ်၌ တိုင်ပင် စီရင် ကြပါလော့ဟု ပြောဆို လေ၏။
8 And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.
၈လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် တယောက် သောသူ ကဲ့သို့ ထ ၍ ငါတို့သည် တယောက်မျှ မိမိ တဲ သို့ မ သွား ၊ မိမိ အိမ် သို့ မ ပြန်။
9 But now this shall be the thing which we will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;
၉ဂိဗာ မြို့၌ အဘယ်သို့ပြု မည်နည်း ဟူမူကား ၊ စာရေးတံ ချ၍ အတိုက်သွားမည်။
10 And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.
၁၀ဗင်္ယာမိန် ခရိုင် ဂိဗာ မြို့သားတို့သည်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးတို့၌ ပြု သမျှသော အဓမ္မ အမှုနှင့် ညီလျော်စွာ လူများတို့သည် ထိုမြို့သို့ရောက် ၍ အပြစ်ဒဏ်ပေးမည်အကြောင်း၊ သူ တို့စားစရိတ် ကို ပို့ စေခြင်းငှါ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး အနွယ်အပေါင်း တို့၌ လူ တရာ တွင် တဆယ် ၊ တထောင် တွင် တရာ ၊ တသောင်း တွင် တထောင် တို့ကို ရွေးကောက် ကြကုန်အံ့ဟု ဆို လျက်၊
11 So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.
၁၁ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အပေါင်း တို့သည် ဂိဗာမြို့ တဘက်၌ စည်းဝေး ၍ တယောက် သောသူ ကဲ့သို့ သင်း ဖွဲ့လျက်နေကြ၏။
12 And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?
၁၂ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည်၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် ခရိုင်တရှောက်လုံး သို့ စေလွှတ် ၍၊ သင် တို့တွင် ပြု သော ဤ အဓမ္မ အမှုကား အဘယ်သို့ နည်း။
13 Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel:
၁၃ယခု မှာ ဂီဗာ မြို့၌ ရှိသော ထိုအဓမ္မ လူ တို့ကို ငါတို့ယူ၍ သတ် သဖြင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးထဲက ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို ပယ်ရှား မည်အကြောင်းထိုလူတို့ကိုအပ် ကြပါဟု မှာ လိုက်ကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည်၊ ညီအစ်ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့စကား ကို နား မ ထောင်ဘဲ၊
14 But the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel.
၁၄ထိုအမျိုးသားတို့ကို စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ ၊ အမြို့ မြို့အရွာရွာက ထွက် ၍ ဂိဗာ မြို့၌ စည်းဝေး ကြ၏။
15 And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.
၁၅ထိုအခါ ဂိဗာ မြို့သား ယောက်ျား ကောင်း ခုနစ် ရာ မှတပါး အမြို့ မြို့အရွာရွာက လာ သော ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသား အရေအတွက်ကား၊ ထား လက်နက်စွဲကိုင် သောသူ နှစ်သောင်း ခြောက်ထောင်တည်း။
16 Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.
၁၆ထို လူ အပေါင်း တို့တွင် လက်ဝဲလက်ကို သုံးတတ်သဖြင့်၊ ဆံခြည် တပင်ကို လောက်လွှဲနှင့်မှန်အောင် ပစ် နိုင်သော ယောက်ျား ကောင်း ခုနှစ် ရာ ပါသတည်း။
17 And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these were men of war.
၁၇ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားမှတပါး ထား လက်နက်စွဲကိုင် ၍ စစ်သူရဲ ဖြစ်သော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား အရေအတွက်ကား လေးသိန်း တည်း။
18 And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And Yhwh said, Judah shall go up first.
၁၈ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဘုရား သခင်၏ အိမ်တော်သို့ ထ ၍ သွား ပြီးလျှင် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ သည် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးကို အဦး ချီ သွားရပါမည်နည်းဟု ဘုရား သခင်ထံတော်၌ မေး လျှောက်ကြသော် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား က၊ ယုဒ သည် အဦး ချီသွားရမည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
19 And the children of Israel rose up in the morning, and encamped against Gibeah.
၁၉နံနက် စောစောဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ထ ၍ ဂိဗာ မြို့အနား ၌ တပ်ချ ပြီးမှ၊
20 And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah.
၂၀ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့ကို တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ ချီ သွား၍ ဂိဗာ မြို့ရှေ့ မှာ စစ် ခင်းကျင်း လျက် နေကြ၏။
21 And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men.
၂၁ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဂိဗာ မြို့ထဲက ထွက် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထို နေ့ တွင် ဣသရေလ လူ တသောင်း နှစ်ထောင်တို့ကို မြေ ပေါ် မှာ လှဲ ၍ သတ်ကြ၏။
22 And the people the men of Israel encouraged themselves, and set their battle again in array in the place where they put themselves in array the first day.
၂၂သို့ရာတွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ရဲရင့် သောစိတ်ကိုယူ၍ ပဌမ နေ့ တွင် စစ်ခင်းကျင်း သော အရပ် ၌ တဖန် ခင်းကျင်း ကြ၏။
23 ( And the children of Israel went up and wept before Yhwh until even, and asked counsel of Yhwh, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And Yhwh said, Go up against him.)
၂၃ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်သို့ သွား ၍ ညဦး ယံတိုင်အောင် ငိုကြွေး လျက် ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ညီ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့ကို တဖန် စစ်တိုက် ရပါမည်လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား အား မေး လျှောက်သော် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား က ချီ သွားကြလော့ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
24 And the children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.
၂၄ဒုတိယ နေ့ တွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးတို့အနီးသို့ ချဉ်း ကြသောအခါ၊
25 And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.
၂၅ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဂိဗာ မြို့ထဲက ထွက် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထား လက်နက်စွဲကိုင် သော ဣသရေလ လူတသောင်း ရှစ်ထောင်တို့ကို မြေ ပေါ် ၌ လှဲ ၍ သတ်ကြ၏။
26 Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before Yhwh, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before Yhwh.
၂၆ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဘုရား သခင်အိမ်တော်သို့သွား ၍ ငိုကြွေး လျက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်၌ ဝပ် လျက် ၊ တနေ့ လုံး ညဦး ယံတိုင်အောင် အစာ ကို ရှောင်၍ ထာဝရဘုရား အား မီးရှို့ ရာယဇ်၊ မိဿဟာယ ယဇ်တို့ကို ပူဇော် ကြ၏။
27 And the children of Israel enquired of Yhwh, ( for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,
၂၇ထို ကာလ ၌ ဘုရား သခင်၏ ပဋိညာဉ် သေတ္တာ တော်ပါလျက်၊ အာရုန် ၏သား ဖြစ်သော ဧလာဇာ ၏ သား ဖိနဟတ် သည်၊ သေတ္တာ တော်ရှေ့ မှာ အမှု စောင့်သည် ဖြစ်၍၊
28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days, ) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And Yhwh said, Go up; for to morrow I will deliver them into thine hand.
၂၈ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့က၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ ညီ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသား တို့ကို တဖန် သွား ၍ တိုက်ရပါမည်လော၊ မ သွားဘဲနေရပါမည်လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား အား မေး လျှောက်သော် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား က သွား ကြလော့။ နက်ဖြန် နေ့တွင် သူ တို့ကို သင် တို့လက် ၌ ငါအပ် မည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
29 And Israel set liers in wait round about Gibeah.
၂၉ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဂိဗာ မြို့ပတ်လည် ၌ ကင်းစောင့် လူတို့ကို ထား ပြီးမှ၊
30 And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times.
၃၀တတိယ နေ့ တွင် ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့ရှိရာသို့ ချီ သွား၍ ၊ ယမန် ကဲ့သို့ ဂိဗာ မြို့အနား၌ စစ် ခင်းကျင်းလျက် နေကြ၏။
31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.
၃၁ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် အတိုက်ထွက် ၍ မြို့ နှင့် ကွာ သွားကြ၏။ ဗေသလ မြို့သို့ သွား သောလမ်း ၊ ဂိဗာ တောရွာသို့ သွားသောလမ်းတွင် ယမန် ကဲ့သို့ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသူရဲတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ စ ပြု၍ လူ သုံးဆယ် ခန့် မျှ သေ ကြ၏။
32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways.
၃၂ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့က၊ သူ တို့သည် ယမန် ကဲ့သို့ ငါ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ ရှုံး ကြပြီဟု ဆို သော်လည်း ၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့က ပြေး ကြကုန်အံ့၊ သူ တို့ကို မြို့ နှင့် ဝေးသော လမ်း တို့သို့ သွေးဆောင်ကြကုန်အံ့ဟု ဆို လျက်၊
33 And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baal–tamar: and the liers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.
၃၃ဣသရေလ လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် မိမိ တို့ နေရာ အရပ်မှ ထ ၍ ဗာလတာမာ မြို့၌ စစ်ခင်း ကြ၏။ ကင်းစောင့် လျက်နေသော ဣသရေလ လူတို့သည်လည်း မိမိ တို့နေရာ ဂိဗာ လွင်ပြင် မှ ထ ကြသဖြင့်၊
34 And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.
၃၄ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားယောက်ျား ကောင်း တသောင်း တို့သည် ဂိဗာ မြို့သို့ ချီ လာ၍ ၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် ဘေး ရောက် လုနီးသည်ကို မ ရိပ်မိ သောကြောင့်၊ ကျပ်တည်း စွာ ဆီး၍ တိုက် ကြ၏။
35 And Yhwh smote Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.
၃၅ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူတို့ကို ဣသရေလ လူတို့ရှေ့ မှာ ရှုံး စေတော်မူသဖြင့် ၊ ထို နေ့ တွင် ဣသရေလ လူတို့သည် ထား လက်နက်စွဲကိုင် သော ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူ နှစ်သောင်း ငါးထောင်တရာ တို့ကို ပယ်ရှင်း ကြ၏။
36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the liers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.
၃၆ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် မိမိတို့ ရှုံး သည်ကို သိမြင် ကြ၏။ ဣသရေ လူ တို့သည်၊ ဂိဗာ မြို့အနား၌ ထား သော ကင်း တပ်ကို ကိုးစား သောကြောင့် ၊ အစက ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူတို့ရှေ့ မှာ ဆုတ် ကြ၏။
37 And the liers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the liers in wait drew themselves along, and smote all the city with the edge of the sword.
၃၇ကင်း တပ်သားတို့သည် ဂိဗာ မြို့သို့ တဟုန်တည်း ပြေး ဝင်၍ အနှံ့အပြားတိုက် သဖြင့် တမြို့ လုံး ကို ထား နှင့် လုပ်ကြံ ကြ၏။
38 Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the liers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.
၃၈မြို့ ထဲမှာ ကြီးစွာ သော မီးခိုး တက် စေရမည်အကြောင်း ဣသရေလ လူ တို့သည် ကင်း စောင့်လူတို့အား အကြံ ပေးနှင့်ကြပြီဖြစ်၍၊
39 And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to smite and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle.
၃၉ဣသရေလ လူ တို့သည် စစ်တိုက် ရာတွင် ဆုတ် သောအခါ၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူတို့က၊ အကယ်၍သူတို့သည် ယမန် စစ် ရှုံး သကဲ့သို့ ငါ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ ရှုံး ကြပြီဟု ဆို လျက် သူရဲတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ စ ပြု၍ လူ သုံးဆယ် ခန့် မျှ သေ ကြ၏။
40 But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.
၄၀တဖန် မီးလောင်၍ ထူထပ် သော မီးခိုး သည် မြို့ ထဲမှာ တက် စ ရှိသောအခါ ၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူတို့သည် ပြန် ကြည့်၍ မြို့ ကိုလောင်သော မီးလျှံသည် မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင် သို့ တက် သည်ကို မြင် ကြ၍၊
41 And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.
၄၁ဣသရေလ လူ တို့သည် လှည့် ၍ ပြန်သောအခါ ၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူ တို့သည် ဘေး ရောက် ကြောင်း ကို သိမြင် လျှင်၊
42 Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which came out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them.
၄၂မိန်းမော တွေဝေ၍ ဣသရေလ လူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ တော လမ်း သို့ ပြေး သော်လည်း ၊ စစ်တိုက် လိုက် လာသောသူတို့သည် မှီသဖြင့် ပြေးသောသူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ မြို့ ရွာများထဲက ထွက်လာသောသူတို့ကို၎င်း၊ တပြိုင်နက်ဖျက်ဆီး ကြ၏။
43 Thus they inclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease over against Gibeah toward the sunrising.
၄၃ဗင်္ယာမိန် လူတို့ကို ဝိုင်း လျက်လိုက် လျက်၊ နုခါရွာမှစ၍နေ ထွက် ရာဘက် ၊ ဂိဗာ မြို့အနား တိုင်အောင် နှိပ် နင်းကြ၏။
44 And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these were men of valour.
၄၄ထိုအခါ ဗင်္ယာမိန် သူရဲ တသောင်း ရှစ်ထောင်တို့သည် လဲ ၍ သေကြ၏။
45 And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.
၄၅ကြွင်းသောသူတို့သည် လှည့် ၍ တော အရပ် ရိမ္မုန် ကျောက် သို့ ပြေး ကြစဉ်တွင်၊ လိုက်သောသူတို့သည် လူ ငါး ထောင် တို့ကို လမ်း မှာ ဖမ်း မိကြ၏။ ဂိဒုံ မြို့တိုင်အောင် အပြင်းလိုက် ၍ လူ နှစ်ထောင် တို့ကိုလည်း သတ် ကြ၏။
46 So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour.
၄၆ထို နေ့ တွင် လဲ ၍ သေသော ဗင်္ယာမိန် ထား စွဲ သူရဲ တို့အရေအတွက်ကား၊ နှစ်သောင်း ငါးထောင်တည်း။
47 But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.
၄၇လူ ခြောက် ရာ တို့သည် လှည့် ၍ တော အရပ်ရိမ္မုန် ကျောက် ကို မှီအောင်ပြေး သဖြင့် ၊ ထိုကျောက် အောက်မှာ လေး လ နေ ကြ၏။
48 And the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and smote them with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities that they came to.
