Jeremiah 28
1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of Yhwh, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
൧ആ ആണ്ടിൽ, യെഹൂദാ രാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ, നാലാം ആണ്ടിൽ അഞ്ചാം മാസം, ഗിബെയോന്യനായ അസ്സൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെയും സർവ്വജനത്തിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽവച്ച് എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
2 Thus speaketh Yhwh of Armies, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
൨“യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Yhwh's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
൩ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്ന് എടുത്ത് ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ആലയംവക ഉപകരണങ്ങൾ സകലവും ഞാൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരത്തിനകം ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മടക്കിവരുത്തും;
4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith Yhwh: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
൪യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മകൻ യെഹൂദാ രാജാവായ യെഖൊന്യാവിനെയും ബാബേലിലേക്കു പോയ സകല യെഹൂദാബദ്ധന്മാരെയും ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മടക്കിവരുത്തും; ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളയും” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Yhwh,
൫അപ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നില്ക്കുന്ന സകലജനവും കേൾക്കെ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകനോടു പറഞ്ഞത്:
6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: Yhwh do so: Yhwh perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of Yhwh's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
൬“ആമേൻ, യഹോവ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുമാറാകട്ടെ; യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും സകലബദ്ധന്മാരെയും അവൻ ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മടക്കിവരുത്തുമെന്ന് നീ പ്രവചിച്ച വാക്കുകളെ യഹോവ നിവർത്തിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ!
7 Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
൭എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ നിന്നോടും സകലജനത്തോടും പറയുന്ന ഈ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊള്ളുക.
8 The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
൮എനിക്കും നിനക്കും മുമ്പ് പണ്ടേയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാർ, അനേകം ദേശങ്ങൾക്കും വലിയ രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കും വിരോധമായി യുദ്ധവും അനർത്ഥവും മഹാമാരിയും പ്രവചിച്ചു.
9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that Yhwh hath truly sent him.
൯സമാധാനം പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്റെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ യഥാർഥത്തിൽ യഹോവ അയച്ച പ്രവാചകൻ എന്ന് തെളിയും” എന്ന് യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പറഞ്ഞു;
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah’s neck, and brake it.
൧൦അപ്പോൾ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്ന് ആ നുകം എടുത്ത് ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിട്ട്,
11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Yhwh; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
൧൧സകലജനവും കേൾക്കെ; ‘ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരത്തിനകം ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ നുകം സകലജനതകളുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽനിന്ന് എടുത്ത് ഒടിച്ചുകളയും’ എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ തന്റെ വഴിക്കുപോയി.
12 Then the word of Yhwh came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
൧൨ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽനിന്ന് നുകം എടുത്ത് ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം യിരെമ്യാവിന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith Yhwh; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
൧൩നീ ചെന്ന് ഹനന്യാവിനോടു പറയേണ്ടത്: “യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നീ മരംകൊണ്ടുള്ള നുകം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന് പകരം നീ ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു നുകം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു”.
14 For thus saith Yhwh of Armies, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
൧൪എങ്ങനെയെന്നാൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; “ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഇരിമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു നുകം ഞാൻ ഈ സകലജനതകളുടെയും കഴുത്തിൽ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; വയലിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ അവന് കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു”.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; Yhwh hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
൧൫പിന്നെ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകനോട്: “ഹനന്യാവേ, കേൾക്കുക! യഹോവ നിന്നെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല; നീ ഈ ജനത്തെ വ്യാജത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു”.
16 Therefore thus saith Yhwh; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against Yhwh.
൧൬അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭൂതലത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഈ ആണ്ടിൽ നീ മരിക്കും; നീ യഹോവയ്ക്കു വിരോധമായി മത്സരം സംസാരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
൧൭അങ്ങനെ ഹനന്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ആയാണ്ടിൽ തന്നെ ഏഴാം മാസത്തിൽ മരിച്ചു.
