Isaiah 61

1 The Spirit of the Lord Yhwh is upon me; because Yhwh hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

۱ روح خداوند یهوه بر من است زیراخداوند مرا مسح کرده است تامسکینان را بشارت دهم و مرا فرستاده تا شکسته دلان را التیام بخشم و اسیران را به رستگاری ومحبوسان را به آزادی ندا کنم.

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of Yhwh, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

۲ و تا از سال پسندیده خداوند و از یوم انتقام خدای ما ندانمایم و جمیع ماتمیان را تسلی بخشم.

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yhwh, that he might be glorified.

۳ تا قراردهم برای ماتمیان صهیون و به ایشان ببخشم تاجی را به عوض خاکستر و روغن شادمانی را به عوض نوحه گری و ردای تسبیح را به‌جای روح کدورت تا ایشان درختان عدالت و مغروس خداوند به جهت تمجید وی نامیده شوند.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

۴ و ایشان خرابه های قدیم را بنا خواهند نمودو ویرانه های سلف را بر پا خواهند داشت وشهرهای خراب شده و ویرانه های دهرهای بسیار را تعمیر خواهند نمود.

5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

۵ و غریبان برپاشده، غله های شما را خواهند چرانید و بیگانگان، فلاحان و باغبانان شما خواهند بود.

6 But ye shall be named the Priests of Yhwh: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

۶ و شماکاهنان خداوند نامیده خواهید شد و شما را به خدام خدای ما مسمی خواهند نمود. دولت امت‌ها را خواهید خورد و در جلال ایشان فخرخواهید نمود.

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

۷ به عوض خجالت، نصیب مضاعف خواهید یافت و به عوض رسوایی ازنصیب خود مسرور خواهند شد بنابراین ایشان درزمین خود نصیب مضاعف خواهند یافت و شادی جاودانی برای ایشان خواهد بود.

8 For I Yhwh love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

۸ زیرا من که یهوه هستم عدالت را دوست می‌دارم و از غارت و ستم نفرت می‌دارم و اجرت ایشان را به راستی به ایشان خواهم داد و عهد جاودانی با ایشان خواهم بست.

9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which Yhwh hath blessed.

۹ و نسل ایشان در میان امت‌ها وذریت ایشان در میان قوم‌ها معروف خواهند شد. هر‌که ایشان را بیند اعتراف خواهد نمود که ایشان ذریت مبارک خداوند می‌باشند.

10 I will greatly rejoice in Yhwh, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

۱۰ در خداوند شادی بسیار می‌کنم و جان من در خدای خود وجد می‌نماید زیرا که مرا به‌جامه نجات ملبس ساخته، ردای عدالت را به من پوشانید. چنانکه داماد خویشتن را به تاج آرایش می‌دهد و عروس، خود را به زیورها زینت می‌بخشد.

11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord Yhwh will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

۱۱ زیرا چنانکه زمین، نباتات خود رامی رویاند و باغ، زرع خویش را نمو می‌دهد، همچنان خداوند یهوه عدالت و تسبیح را پیش روی تمامی امت‌ها خواهد رویانید.
