Hebrews 8
1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
O ponto principal de [tudo ]que acabo de escrever é que nós temos um sumo sacerdote desse tipo. Ele já se sentou para governar [MTY] com Deus [EUP] no lugar de maior honra no céu.
2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Ele ministra no Lugar Santíssimo, isto é, no verdadeiro lugar [de adoração no céu]. É esse o lugar [representado pela ]tenda [de Moisés. ]O Senhor estabeleceu o verdadeiro lugar de adoração. Não [foi estabelecido por ]nenhum ser humano.
3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
Cada sumo sacerdote foi nomeado {[Deus ]nomeou cada sumo sacerdote} para oferecer [a Deus ]presentes e sacrifícios [em favor das pessoas que pecavam. ]Portanto, já que [Cristo se tornou sumo sacerdote, ]ele também devia oferecer algo.
4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
Havendo já sacerdotes [judaicos ]que ofereciam presentes conforme [exigiam ]as leis de Deus, se Cristo [vivesse agora ]na terra, ele não seria sumo sacerdote.
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Os sacerdotes [judaicos ]realizavam os rituais que foram apenas um modelo [DOU] [daquilo que Cristo faria no céu ][MTY]. Aquilo que [Deus ]disse a Moisés quando este estava para edificar a tenda [para adoração dele apoia a ideia de que tais rituais foram apenas um modelo. Deus disse: ]“Não deixe de fazer tudo conforme o modelo que lhe mostrei no monte Sinai!”
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Mas como se vê, [Cristo ]ministra de uma forma mais excelente que [os sacerdotes judaicos. ]Outrossim, a [nova ]aliança que ele estabeleceu [entre Deus e os seres humanos ]é superior [à antiga. Quando foi estabelecida a nova aliança {Deus estabeleceu a nova aliança}, ]ele nos prometeu coisas melhores [que as leis que Deus tinha dado a Moisés.]
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
Se aquela primeira aliança tivesse sido perfeitamente adequada [LIT], Deus não teria achado necessária uma outra aliança para a substituir. Mas ela não foi satisfatória, portanto ele precisava de uma nova aliança.
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Por Deus ter declarado que os israelitas eram culpados de não obedecerem à primeira aliança, ele desejava uma nova aliança. Um profeta/Jeremias—escreveu o seguinte sobre isso: O Senhor diz: “Escutem! Virá uma época quando farei uma nova aliança com o povo [MTY] de Israel e o povo [MTY] de Judá.
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Essa aliança não será como a aliança que fiz com os antepassados deles, Quando os guiei para fora do Egito [MET] como um pai leva um filho pela mão. Eles não continuavam a obedecer a minha aliança, e por isso eu os rejeitei”, diz o Senhor.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
”Esta é a aliança que farei com os israelitas [MTY, após terminar a primeira aliança” [MTY], diz o Senhor: “Vou capacitá-los a entender minhas leis [MTY], e vou capacitá-los a obedecer-lhas (OU, conhecê-las verdadeiramente) [MTY] sinceramente. Serei o Deus deles, e eles serão meu povo [DOU].
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
[Como resultado, ]ninguém [precisará ]ensinar um concidadão ou dizer a um compatriota: „[Você precisa ]conhecer o Senhor‟, pois todo [meu povo ]me conhecerá: [meu povo ]de cada categoria e classe [me conhecerá.]
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Vou [perdoar-lhes ]misericordiosamente as coisas iníquas que fizeram. Já não vou considerá-los culpados [DOU] dos seus pecados”.
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Já que Deus falou de uma nova [aliança], ele achava que a primeira [aliança ]não estava mais em vigor e que logo desapareceria, bem como [desaparece qualquer outra coisa que ]envelhece [MET, DOU].
