< Hebrews 6 >
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Khritjan mawng akcük ngtheinak cun jah hawih hüt lü ngtheinak üng dämduh vaia malam da mi cit vai u. Akcük ngtheinaka kyakie Pamhnam jumnak,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios )
baptican mawng mtheinak ja kut mtaihnak; akthia thawhnak be ja angläta ngthumkhyahnake am käh mi tünei be vai u. (aiōnios )
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
Malam da mi cit vai u! Pamhnam naw a täng ta ahin mi jah pawh vai u.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
Ami jumeinak hawihkie cun ihawkba ngjutcam law be khaie ni? Pamhnama kvai üng ve khawikie; Khankhawa dawnak pi mdep u lü Ngmüimkhya Ngcima bänak pi yahkie;
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (aiōn )
Ami naw Pamhnama ngthu hin dawki tia pi ksing u lü pha law khaia johita kcün pi cayahkie ni. (aiōn )
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Ami jumeinak hawihkie ni! Ngjutnak da ami law be tü vai am thawn khawh, isetiakyaküng Pamhnama Cakpa cun kutlamtunga taih be tü u lü khyang ksunga ani cun ngkeeisakie ni.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:
A khana kyakia khawk’a mjawnkia nglei cän Pamhnam naw dawnak pe lü sawnglinkiea phäh adung dämsaki cun acunea phäh summang phyaki ni.
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Nghlinge ja mphyawe ami luh law üng nglei hin ia am kyah; Pamhnam naw a yünce vai kyühei phya lü mei am mkhihnak kham khai ni.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
Ka püie, ahikba pyen üngpi nami jumnaka mawng ta kami ksing päng u ni. Daw bawkia dawkyanake nami küikyannak naw kanaki tia kami ksingki.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Pamhnam hin ngsung ve. Nami bia khut, nami kphyanak ani nami kpüi üng nami mdan ja khritjan akcee nami jah petmsawte cun am jah mhnih.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Akdäma kami hlüei ta matcim naw akpäihnak veia nami mtuneinak am bi ua, acun üngva nami äpei cun akcanga pha law khai.
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Nami dam vai am hlüei u ngü, lüpi jumei u lü ami mlung msaükiea kba ve u lü Pamhnam naw a ning jah peta khyütam cän doei ua.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Pamhnam naw Abraham khyütam a pet üng i khyütam ti cun ng'yünnak pawhki. Ania kthaka am däm bawkia kyase amäta ngming cun sumei lü ng'yünnak pawhki.
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
Ani naw, “Na mjükphyüi khawhah ning pe lü dawnak ka ning pet khai tia khyütam a pet,” tia a pyen.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Abraham cun a mlung msaükia kyase Pamhnama khyütam cun yaheiki.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Ng’yünnak mi pawh üng mimäta kthaka däm bawkia ngming matmat mi sumei üng ngcuhngkaihe avan hüpkie.
17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
A khyütam yah khaie veia ania mkhüh itüha pi anghlai vai am täng lü a ngsing vai Pamhnam naw hlüeikia kyase a khyütama khana ng'yünnak a mkawp law sih.
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Pamhnam käh hlei lü am a nghlainak theia mawng mjü nghngih veki. Ani am üpawmnak hmuhki mi kthamahkia kyase mi maa a jah tak peta äpeinak cun akceta mi kcüngei vai u.
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
Ahina äpeinak mi tak hin mi saka ngphuneinak mäi ni. Ahin hin üpawm lü cangki ni, ahin cun Khankhaw temple k'uma angcimnaka kalaka pi khe lü citki.
20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn )
Mi kcaha Jesuh cun mi maa acua cit lü Melkhihzadek ktaiyü a kya lawa kba angläta ktaiyü ngvai säiha thawnki ni. (aiōn )
