Ezekiel 5
1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
“तब ए मानिसको छोरो, आफ्नो लागि हजामको छुराजस्तै एउटा धारिलो तरवार ली र त्यसको धारले आफ्नो कपाल र दाह्री खौरी, त्यसपछि जोख्नलाई तराजू ली, र तेरो कपाललाई भाग लगा ।
2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
घेराबन्दीका दिन समाप्त हुन्छन्, तब रौंको एक तिहाइलाई सहरभित्र आगोमा जलाइदे, र अर्को एक तिहाइलाई चाहिं सहरका चारैतिर तरवारले टुक्रा-टुक्रा पारिदे । अनि बाँकी एक तिहाइचाहिं हावामा उडाइदे, र मानिसहरूलाई केद्न म तरवार थुत्नेछु ।
3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
तर कपालको केही भाग लि र आफ्नो लुगामा ती बाँध् ।
4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
तब तीबाट अझै केही कपाल लिएर आगोको बिचमा फ्याँकिदे । अनि त्यो आगोमा जलाइदे । त्यहाँबाट इस्राएलका सबै घरानामा एउटा आगो फैलिनेछ ।”
5 Thus saith the Lord Yhwh; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “जातिहरूका बिचमा भएको यरूशलेम यही हो, जहाँ मैले त्यसलाई राखेको छु र जहाँ मैले त्यसलाई अरू देशहरूले घेरेको छु ।
6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
तर आफ्नो दुष्ट्याइँमा आफ्ना चारैतिर भएका जातिहरूले भन्दा बढी त्यसले मेरा नियमहरू र अन्य देशहरूले भन्दा बढी त्यसले मेरा विधिहरूलाई इन्कार गरेकी छे । मानिसहरूले मेरा फैसलाहरूलाई इन्कार गरेका छन् र मेरा विधिहरूमा हिंडेका छैनन् ।”
7 Therefore thus saith the Lord Yhwh; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरू आफ्ना चारैतिरका जातिहरूभन्दा अझ बढी बदमास भएका छौ, र मेरा विधिहरूमा चलेका छैनौ, वा मेरा नियमहरू पालन गरेका छैनौ, वा तिमीहरूका चारैतिर भएका जातिहरूका चालबमोजिम पनि चलेका छैनौ,”
8 Therefore thus saith the Lord Yhwh; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “हेर, म आफै तेरो विरुद्धमा हुनेछु । म स्वयम् ती जातिहरूका सामुन्ने तँलाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।
9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
तेरा घिनलाग्दा कामहरूको कारण तँलाई म यस्तो गर्नेछु, जो मैले अघि कहिल्यै गरेको थिइनँ र न म फेरि कहिल्यै गर्नेछु ।
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
यसकारण तेरै बिचमा बुबाहरूले छोराछोरीलाई र छोराहरूले आफ्ना बुबाहरूलाई खानेछन्, किनकि म तँमाथि दण्ड ल्याउनेछु र तेरा बाँचेकाहरू सबैलाई चारैतिर तितरबितर पारिदिनेछु ।
11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord Yhwh; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
यसकारण जस्तो म जीवित छु—यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो—तेरा सबै घृणित कुराहरू र तैंले गरेका सबै घिनलाग्दा कामहरूले मेरो पवित्रस्थानलाई तैंले बिटुलो पारेको हुनाले म आफै तेरो संख्या घटाउनेछु । मेरो आँखाले तँलाई टिठ्याउनेछैन, र म तँलाई छोड्नेछैनँ ।
12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
तेरा मानिसमध्ये एक तिहाइ रूढीले मर्नेछौ, र तिमीहरूकै माझमा तिनीहरूलाई अनिकालले नष्ट गर्नेछ । एक तिहाइचाहिं तँलाई घेरा हालेका तरवारले मर्नेछन् । तब एक तिहाइलाई चाहिं म चारैतिर तितरबितर पार्नेछु, र तिनीहरूलाई खेद्न तरवार पनि थुत्नेछु ।
13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I Yhwh have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
तब मेरो क्रोध पुरा हुनेछ, र तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा भएको मेरो क्रोध शान्त हुनेछ । म सन्तुष्ट हुनेछु, र मेरो क्रोध शान्त भएपछि तिनीहरूले जान्नेछन् कि म परमप्रभुले नै मेरो क्रोधमा यो कुरा भनेको हुँ ।
14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
तँलाई चारैतिरका जातिहरूका बिचमा र तेरो छेउबाट भएर जानेहरू हरेक व्यक्तिका दृष्टिमा तँलाई म उजाड र खिसीको पात्र बनाउनेछु ।
15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I Yhwh have spoken it.
यसैले यरूशलेम अन्य मानिसहरूको अघि घृणा, र खिसीको पात्र बन्नेछ र तेरा वरिपरीका जातिहरूका निम्ति चेतावनी र भयको पात्र बन्नेछ । म रिस, क्रोध र डरलाग्दो गालीसित तेरो न्याय गर्नेछु—म परमप्रभुले यो घोषणा गरेको हुँ ।
16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
म तेरो विरुद्ध अनिकालको मेरा घातक र नष्टकारी काँणहरू छोड्नेछु, जुन तेरो सर्वनाशको कारण बन्नेछ । किनकि म तँमाथि अनिकाल बढाउनेछु र तेरो अन्नको मूल नै रोकिदिनेछु ।
17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I Yhwh have spoken it.
तेरो विरुद्धमा म अनिकाल र प्रकोपहरू ल्याउनेछु, यसरी तँ बालकहिन हुनेछस् । रूढी र रक्तपात तेरो बिचबाट जानेछ, र म तेरो विरुद्ध तरवार ल्याउनेछु—म, परमप्रभुले नै यो घोषणा गरेको हुँ ।”
