Exodus 7
1 And Yhwh said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
൧യഹോവ മോശെയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: “നോക്കു, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഫറവോന് ദൈവത്തെപ്പോലെ ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ സഹോദരൻ അഹരോൻ നിനക്ക് പ്രവാചകനായിരിക്കും.
2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.
൨ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് കല്പിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും നീ പറയണം; നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോൻ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ തന്റെ ദേശത്തുനിന്ന് വിട്ടയക്കുവാൻ ഫറവോനോട് പറയണം.
3 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
൩എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കും; ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ ഞാൻ വളരെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിക്കും.
4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
൪ഫറവോൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കുകയില്ല; ഞാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്മേൽ എന്റെ കൈവച്ച് വലിയ ശിക്ഷാവിധികളാൽ എന്റെ ഗണങ്ങളെ, എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ തന്നെ, ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ നിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കും.
5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am Yhwh, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
൫അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈ ഈജിപ്റ്റിന്മേൽ നീട്ടി, യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കളെ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ അറിയും”.
6 And Moses and Aaron did as Yhwh commanded them, so did they.
൬മോശെയും അഹരോനും യഹോവ അവരോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അവർ അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ ചെയ്തു.
7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.
൭അവർ ഫറവോനോട് സംസാരിച്ച കാലത്ത് മോശെയ്ക്ക് എൺപത് വയസ്സും അഹരോന് എൺപത്തിമൂന്ന് വയസ്സും ആയിരുന്നു.
8 And Yhwh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
൮യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും:
9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
൯“ഫറവോൻ നിങ്ങളോട് ഒരു അത്ഭുതം കാണിക്കുവീൻ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ നീ അഹരോനോട്: ‘നിന്റെ വടി എടുത്ത് ഫറവോന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിടുക’ എന്ന് പറയണം; അത് ഒരു സർപ്പമായിത്തീരും” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു.
10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as Yhwh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
൧൦അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും അഹരോനും ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് യഹോവ അവരോട് കല്പിച്ചത് പോലെ ചെയ്തു. അഹരോൻ തന്റെ വടി ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അത് സർപ്പമായിത്തീർന്നു.
11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
൧൧അപ്പോൾ ഫറവോൻ വിദ്വാന്മാരെയും മന്ത്രവാദികളെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു; ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ മന്ത്രവാദികളായ ഇവരും അവരുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താൽ അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു.
12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.
൧൨അവർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ അവനവന്റെ വടി നിലത്തിട്ടു; അവയും സർപ്പങ്ങളായിത്തീർന്നു; എന്നാൽ അഹരോന്റെ വടി അവരുടെ വടികളെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
13 And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as Yhwh had said.
൧൩ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയമോ, യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു; അവൻ അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.
14 And Yhwh said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.
൧൪അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: “ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയക്കുവാൻ അവന് മനസ്സില്ല.
15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.
൧൫രാവിലെ നീ ഫറവോന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുക; അവൻ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിവരും; നീ അവനെ കാണുവാൻ നദീതീരത്ത് നില്‍ക്കണം; സർപ്പങ്ങളായിത്തീർന്ന വടിയും കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തുകൊള്ളണം.
16 And thou shalt say unto him, Yhwh God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.
൧൬അവനോട് പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘മരുഭൂമിയിൽ എന്നെ ആരാധിപ്പാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ വിട്ടയയ്ക്കുക’ എന്ന് കല്പിച്ച് എബ്രായരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു; നീയോ ഇതുവരെ കേട്ടില്ല.
17 Thus saith Yhwh, In this thou shalt know that I am Yhwh: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.
൧൭ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്ന് നീ ഇതിനാൽ അറിയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു; ഇതാ, എന്റെ കയ്യിലുള്ള വടികൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നദിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിൽ അടിക്കും; അത് രക്തമായിത്തീരും;
18 And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.
൧൮നദിയിലെ മത്സ്യം ചാകും. നദി നാറും; നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുവാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്ക് അറപ്പ് തോന്നും”.
19 And Yhwh spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
൧൯യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോട്: “നീ അഹരോനോട് പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിന്റെ വടി എടുത്ത് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ വെള്ളത്തിന്മേൽ, അവരുടെ നദി, പുഴ, കുളം ഇങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ സകലജലാശയങ്ങളുടെ മേലും നീട്ടുക; അവ രക്തമായിത്തീരും; ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തും മരപ്പാത്രങ്ങളിലും കല്പാത്രങ്ങളിലും രക്തം ഉണ്ടാകും” എന്ന് കല്പിച്ചു.
20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as Yhwh commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.
൨൦മോശെയും അഹരോനും യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു. അവൻ ഫറവോന്റെയും അവന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ വടി ഉയർത്തി നദിയിലുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽ അടിച്ചു; നദിയിലുള്ള വെള്ളം രക്തമായിത്തീർന്നു.
21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.
൨൧നദിയിലെ മത്സ്യം ചത്ത് നാറുകയാൽ നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുവാൻ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; ഈജിപ്റ്റിൽ എല്ലായിടത്തും രക്തം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as Yhwh had said.
൨൨ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ മന്ത്രവാദികളും അവരുടെ മന്ത്രവാദത്താൽ അതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരുന്നതുപോലെ ഫറവോന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനപ്പെട്ടു; അവൻ അവരെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചതുമില്ല.
23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.
൨൩ഫറവോൻ തന്റെ അരമനയിലേക്ക് പോയി; ഇതും അവൻ ഗണ്യമാക്കിയില്ല.
24 And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.
൨൪നദിയിലെ വെള്ളം കുടിക്കുവാൻ യോഗ്യമല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർ എല്ലാവരും കുടിക്കുവാൻ വെള്ളത്തിനായി നദിക്കരയിൽ പലയിടത്തും കുഴികൾ കുഴിച്ചു.
25 And seven days were fulfilled, after that Yhwh had smitten the river.
൨൫യഹോവ നദിയെ അടിച്ചിട്ട് ഏഴ് ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ
