< 1 Timothy 5 >
1 Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
Bisi umor thaka bura manu ke gali nadibi, hoilebi nijor baba nisena kotha koribi; jawan manu khan ke bhai khan nisena,
2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.
bisi umor mahila khan ke nijor ama nisena, aru jawan mahila khan ke nijor bhoini nisena, sapha pora bhabi bhi.
3 Honour widows that are widows indeed.
Bidhowa khan ke sonman koribi.
4 But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.
Kintu kunba bidhowa laga bacha nohoile nata-nati ase koile, taikhan ke poila nijor ghor te bhal niyom dikha bole karone sikhibo dibi, aru taikhan pora baba-ama ke wapas sabo, kele koile etu he Isor ke khushi kore.
5 Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
Kintu tai he asol bidhowa ase junke chari dise aru tai ekla hoise, aru tai laga pura asha to Isor logote rakhi kene ase, aru din-raat tai binti kore, aru hodai prathana kori thake.
6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
Kintu, ekjon bidhowa kun mangso itcha te thaki ase, tai to jinda thakile bhi mora nisena ase.
7 And these things give in charge, that they may be blameless.
Etu kotha khan bhi taikhan ke koi dibi, titia taikhan laga galti nathakibo.
8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Kintu jun manu tai laga asol ghor manu khan ke nasai aru nijor ghor khandan khan nimite, aru khas pora, nijor ghor manu khan nimite eku nadiye, tai to tai laga biswas haraise, aru tai to dhorom namana pora bhi biya ase.
9 Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife of one man,
Jun bidhowa sat saal pora bisi ase, aru khali ekjon mota laga maiki he thakise,
10 Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints’ feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work.
tai laga bhal kaam laga naam nimite jani thaka ekjon ase; jodi tai bacha khan ke bhal pora palikena sa jon ase, nachina manu khan ke bhal pora saise, tai pobitro manu khan laga theng dhulaise, tai dukh pa khan ke aram dise, aru tai sob bhal kaam khan korise, eneka hoile tai laga naam likhibi.
11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
Kintu jawan bidhowa khan laga naam nalikhibi, kele koile jitia nijor laga itcha kori bole mon thake, taikhan arubi shadi kori bole mon kore,
12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.
eneka hoi kene taikhan Khrista te thaka biswas chari kene galti te thaki jai.
13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.
Aru, taikhan ekta ghor pora ekta ghor te jai kene alsi hobole sikhi jai. Aru alsi kora ekla nohoi, hoile bhi misa-misi kotha kora aru bisi kaam kora nisena dikhai, nakobole laga kotha khan koi thake.
14 I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
Etu nimite bidhowa khan ke shadi kori lobi koi ase, bacha khan pai lobi, taikhan laga ghor manu ke sabi, aru dushman khan ke amikhan laga biya kobole somoi nadibi.
15 For some are already turned aside after Satan.
Kilekoile kunba bidhowa khan poila pora Saitan phale girise.
16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the Assembly be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
Kunba bidhowa ase koile, biswasi mahila khan pora taike modot koribi. Etu kaam to girja uporte nadibi, eneka hoile biswasi mahila khan pora bidhowa khan ke sai lobo.
17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Cholawta kori thaka khan ke bisi sonman koribi, jun khan Isor kotha te ase aru sikhai thake.
18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the grain. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
Kilekoile Shastro te koi ase, “Apuni khan goru laga mukh bondh na koribi jitia tai dhaan uporte morona marikena berai” aru “Kaam kora khan dukh laga inam pabo lage.”
19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.
Duijon nohoile tinjon gawahi nathakile dangor manu khan uporte biya kaam laga galti nadibi.
20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
Jun manu paap kori ase, taike sob manu laga usorte galti hunai dibi titia dusra khan bhi bhoi lagibo.
21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
Ami hukum di ase Isor aru Khrista Jisu basi luwa sorgodoth age te, tumike juntu kotha koi dise tumi sob logote eke pora mani bhi aru mukh-saikene eku kaam na koribi.
22 Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.
Kunke bhi prathana te joldi hath narakhibi. Taikhan laga paap logote eke bhag nalobi. Nijorke sapha rakhibi.
23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.
Khali pani ekla khai nathaki bhi, hoile bhi angur-ros bhi olop khabi tumi laga pet kitia ba bemar hoi thaka karone.
24 Some men’s sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
Kunba laga paap to khula khuli dikhi jai, bisar din naha age te. Kintu kunba laga paap to pichete ulai jai.
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
Etu nisena bhal kaam to khula pora dikhi jai, jun manu biya kaam kori ase, etu lukabo na paribo.
