< 1 Timothy 2 >

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
Tua ahikom amasabel in, thungetna a tatuam, eima atu thungetna te, ngualdang atu thungetna te le lungdamko thungetna te sia mi theampo atu vawt tu in kong thum hi;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Pathianmi hina le thumanna taw om hithiat le kilemtak in i nuntak thei natu in kumpi theampo le ulian te theampo atu in thungetsak in.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Banghangziam cile hi thu sia eite hong ngum Pathian mu na ah a pha le a san thamman a hihi;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Pathian in mi theampo ngupna nga tu le thuman thutak a heak atu a dei hi.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Banghangziam cile Pathian khat bek om a, Pathian le mihing te kikal ah palai khat om hi, tua in mihing a hi Christ Jesus a hihi;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Jesus in mi theampo tan tu in Ama le Ama kipia hi, tua thu sia a hun a cin ciang in tettipang hi.
7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, ( I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not; ) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
Keima sia thuhil le sawltak dinmun taw, upna le thuman sia Gentile te a hil tu in, nasep piak ka hihi, Christ sung ah thuman kong hil hi, leilot thu ka son bua hi.
8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Tua ahikom pasal te mun tatuam ah a thiangtho khut te lamto a, thin-ukna le uplakna om ngawl in thu na nget tu uh kong deisak hi.
9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Tasia bangma in, numei te zong nik le puan a pha bek, zatak upat na le ngaisutna pha taw kipua tahen; sam pheak, kham, pale te le puansil nikten manham te taw hi heak tahen;
10 But ( which becometh women professing godliness ) with good works.
Ahihang Pathianmi hi na a pualak numei te in nasep pha te taw kipua tu in kong deisak hi.
11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
Numei te zong na theampo ah thu nitna taw thim khipkhep in sin ta uh hen.
12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Numei i thuhil tu le pasal tung ah thunei tu sia ka oai bua hi, ahihang om khipkhep tahen.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
Banghangziam cile amasabel in Adam vawt a, tua zawkciang in Eve vawt hi.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
Taciang Adam theamna thuak ngawl a, numei sia theam in thukham palsatna sung ah theng hi.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Ahihang numei sia upna, itna, thianthona le ngaisutna man taw a om pai suak le, nau a nei ciang in ki ngum tu hi.
