1 Chronicles 25

1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

Além disso, David e os capitães do exército destacaram para o serviço alguns dos filhos de Asaph, de Heman e de Jeduthun, que deveriam profetizar com harpas, com instrumentos de cordas e com címbalos. O número daqueles que fizeram o trabalho de acordo com seu serviço foi:

2 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

dos filhos de Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, e Asharelah. Os filhos de Asafe estavam sob a mão de Asafe, que profetizou sob a ordem do rei.

3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise Yhwh.

de Jeduthun, os filhos de Jeduthun: Gedalias, Zeri, Jesaías, Shimei, Hasabias e Mattitias, seis, sob as mãos de seu pai Jedutum, que profetizou dando graças e louvando a Javé com a harpa.

4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

De Heman, os filhos de Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, e Mahazioth.

5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Todos estes foram os filhos de Heman, o vidente do rei, nas palavras de Deus, para erguer a buzina. Deus deu a Heman quatorze filhos e três filhas.

6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Yhwh, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

Todos eles estavam sob as mãos de seu pai para cantar na casa de Iavé, com címbalos, instrumentos de corda e harpas, para o serviço da casa de Deus: Asaph, Jeduthun e Heman estando sob a ordem do rei.

7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of Yhwh, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

O número deles, com seus irmãos que foram instruídos a cantar para Javé, mesmo todos os que eram habilidosos, era de duzentos e oitenta e oito.

8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

They lançaram sorteio para seus escritórios, todos iguais, tanto os pequenos quanto os grandes, tanto o professor quanto o aluno.

9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:

Now o primeiro lote saiu para Asafe para José; o segundo para Gedalias, ele e seus irmãos e filhos, doze;

10 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

o terceiro para Zacur, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

11 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

o quarto para Izri, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

12 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

o quinto para Netanias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

13 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

o sexto para Buquias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

14 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

o sétimo para Jesharelah, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

15 The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a oitava a Jesaías, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

16 The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a nona a Matanias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

17 The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a décima a Simei, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

18 The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a décima primeira a Azarel, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

19 The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a décima segunda a Hasabias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

20 The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

a décima terceira a Shubael, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

21 The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo-quarto, Mattitias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

22 The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo-quinto a Jeremote, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

23 The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo sexto a Hananias, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

24 The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo sétimo a Joshbekashah, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

25 The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo oitavo a Hanani, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

26 The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o décimo nono a Mallothi, seus filhos e seus irmãos, doze;

27 The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o vigésimo a Eliathah, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;

28 The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o vigésimo primeiro a Hothir, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;

29 The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o vigésimo segundo a Giddalti, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;

30 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

para o vigésimo terceiro a Mahazioth, seus filhos e irmãos, doze;

31 The four and twentieth to Romamti–ezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
