1 Chronicles 25

1 Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

2 Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

Thaw ka tawk hane naw teh, Asaph casak dawk hoi Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah hoi Asarelah. Ahnimouh teh Asaph casaknaw siangpahrang ni kâpoe e patetlah lawk kadeikung Asaph e kâ rahim vah kaawm e naw doeh.

3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise Yhwh.

Jeduthun dawk hoi Jeduthun casaknaw teh Gedaliah, Zeri, Isaiah, Hashabiah, Mattithiah hoi taruk touh a pha awh. Ratoung hoi BAWIPA koe lunghawinae lawk kadeikung a na pa e kâ rahim kaawm e naw doeh.

4 Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti–ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

Heman dawk hoi Heman casaknaw teh Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of Yhwh, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

Hotnaw pueng teh, BAWIPA im dawk cecak, tamawi, ratoung hoi Cathut e im dawk thaw ka tawk nahanelah, la ka sak naw a na pa e kâ rahim kaawm e naw doeh. Asaph, Jeduthun hoi Heman naw teh, siangpahrang kâtawnnae rahim kaawm e naw doeh.

7 So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of Yhwh, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

Ahnimouh teh a hmaunawnghanaw hoi BAWIPA hanelah la ka cang naw, ka thoum tangcoung naw abuemlah 288 touh a pha awh.

8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

Kathoung kalen, kacangkhainaw hoi, kacangnaw, a coe awh hane suetalah cungpam a khoe pouh.

9 Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:

Hottelah cungpam a khoe e apasueke teh Asaph e capa Joseph tak dawk a bo. Apâhni e teh Gedaliah hoi a hmaunawnghanaw capa 12 dawk a bo.

10 The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Apâthum e teh Zakkur, a capanaw hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

11 The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Apali e teh Izri hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

12 The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Apanga e teh Nethaniah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

13 The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ataruk e teh Bukkiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

14 The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Asari e teh Jesharelah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

15 The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ataroe e teh Isaiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

16 The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Atako e teh Mattaniah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

17 The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahra e teh Shimei hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

18 The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaibun e teh Azarel hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

19 The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaikahni e teh Hashabiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

20 The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaikathum e teh Shubael hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

21 The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaipali e teh Mattithiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

22 The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaipanga e teh Jerimoth hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

23 The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaitaruk e teh Hananiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

24 The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaisari e teh Joshbekashah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

25 The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaitaroe e teh Hanani hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

26 The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Ahlaitako e teh Mallothi hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

27 The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Aruihni e teh Eliathah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

28 The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Aruihnibuet e teh Hothir hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

29 The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Aruihnikahni e teh Giddalti hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

30 The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

Aruihnikathum e teh Mahazioth hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

31 The four and twentieth to Romamti–ezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.
