Zechariah 11
1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
১হে লিবানোন, তোমার দরজাগুলো খুলে দাও, যাতে আগুন তোমার এরস গাছগুলিকে গ্রাস করতে পারে।
2 Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
২হে দেবদারু গাছ, বিলাপ কর, কারণ এরস গাছ পড়ে গেছে! সমস্ত মহান গাছগুলি ধ্বংস হয়ে গেছে। বাশনের এলোন গাছেরা, তোমরা বিলাপ কর, কারণ গভীর বন ধ্বংস হয়েছে।
3 There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
৩মেষপালকদের আর্তনাদের শব্দ; কারণ তাদের মহিমা নষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছে। যুবসিংহদের গর্জনের আওয়াজ; কারণ যর্দ্দন নদীর গর্ব ধ্বংস হয়ে গিয়েছে!
4 Thus saith YHWH my Elohim; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
৪সদাপ্রভু আমার ঈশ্বর বলছেন, “হত্যা করবার জন্য যে ভেড়ার পাল ঠিক হয়েছে সেই পাল চরাও।
5 Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be YHWH; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
৫যারা তাদের কিনে নেয়, হত্যা করে তারা কোনো শাস্তি পায় না এবং যারা তাদের বিক্রি করে তারা বলে, ‘সদাপ্রভু ধন্য, আমি ধনী হয়েছি!’ কারণ তাদের নিজদের পালকেরা তাদের উপর দয়া করে না।
6 For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith YHWH: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them
৬কারণ, সদাপ্রভু বলেন আমি সেই দেশের লোকদের উপর আর দয়া করব না!” “আমি নিজে তাদেরকে লোকেদের সম্মুখীন করব, যেন প্রত্যেকে তার ভেড়ার পালকদের হাতে ও তার রাজার হাতে পড়ে। এবং তারা দেশটাকে চূর্ণবিচূর্ণ করবে, কিন্তু তাদের হাত থেকে আমি যিহূদাকে উদ্ধার করব না।”
7 And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
৭তাই আমি সেই হত্যা করবার জন্য যে ভেড়ার পাল ঠিক হয়েছিল তাদের পালক হলাম, বিশেষ করে সেই পালের দুঃখীদের। তারপর আমি দুইটি লাঠি নিলাম এবং তার একটির নাম দিলাম “দয়া” ও অন্যটির নাম দিলাম “একতা।” এবং আমি সেই ভেড়ার পাল চরালাম।
8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
৮এক মাসের মধ্যে আমি তিনজন ভেড়ার পালককে ধ্বংস করলাম। আমি সেই সমস্ত ভেড়ার ব্যবসায়ীদের, যারা আমাকে ভাড়া করেছিল তাদের নিয়ে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়লাম, কারণ তাদের প্রাণও আমাকে ঘৃণা করেছিল।
9 Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
৯তখন আমি বললাম, “আমিও আর তোমাদের সঙ্গে ভেড়া চরাব না। যেগুলি মারা যাচ্ছে সেগুলি মারা যাক; যেগুলি ধ্বংস হয়ে যাচ্ছে সেগুলো ধ্বংস হোক। যারা বাকি আছে তারা প্রত্যেকে তার প্রতিবেশির মাংস খাক।”
10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it assunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
১০তাই আমি “দয়া” নামে সেই লাঠিটা নিয়ে ভেঙে ফেলে সমস্ত জাতির সঙ্গে আমার যে চুক্তি ছিল তা ভঙ্গ করলাম।
11 And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of YHWH.
১১সেই দিনের ই সেই নিয়ম ভঙ্গ হয়েছিল এবং পালের দুঃখী ভেড়া যারা আমাকে লক্ষ্য করছিল তারা জানত যে, সদাপ্রভু কথা বলেছেন!
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
১২আমি তাদের বললাম, “যদি এটা তোমাদের ভাল মনে হয় তবে আমার বেতন দাও; কিন্তু যদি ভাল মনে না হয় তবে তা করো না।” তাই তারা আমার বেতন ত্রিশটি রূপার টুকরো পরিমাপ করে দিল।
13 And YHWH said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of YHWH.
১৩তখন সদাপ্রভু আমাকে বললেন, “সেই রূপা কুমারের কাছে ফেলে দাও, যা দিয়ে তারা তোমার মূল্য ঠিক করেছে!” তাই আমি সেই ত্রিশটি সেকেল রূপার টুকরো নিয়ে সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে কুমারের কাছে ফেলে দিলাম।
14 Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
১৪পরে আমি “একতা” নামে সেই দ্বিতীয় লাঠিটা ভেঙে যিহূদা ও ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে ভাইয়ের যে সম্বন্ধ ছিল তা ভঙ্গ করলাম।
15 And YHWH said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
১৫সদাপ্রভু আমাকে বললেন, “এবার, তুমি একজন মূর্খ পালকের বাদ্যযন্ত্র তোমার জন্য নাও,
16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
১৬কারণ দেখ! সেই দেশে আমি একজন পালককে তুলব! সে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত ভেড়াদের দেখাশোনা করবে না! যে সমস্ত ভেড়া বিপথে চলে গিয়েছে সে তাদের খোঁজ করবে না, না পঙ্গু ভেড়াদের সুস্থ করবে। সে সেই সমস্ত ভেড়াদের খাওয়াবে না যারা শক্তভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে; কিন্তু সে স্বাস্থ্যবান ভেড়াগুলোর মাংস খাবে এবং তাদের খুর ছিন্নভিন্ন করবে।
17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
১৭“ধিক, সেই অপদার্থ পালককে, যে ভেড়ার পালকে ত্যাগ করে! তলোয়ার যেন তার হাত ও ডান চোখের বিরুদ্ধে উপস্থিত হয়! যেন তার ডান হাত শুকিয়ে যায় এবং তার ডান চোখ অন্ধ হয়ে যায়!”
