Romans 1
1 Paul, a servant of Yahushua the Messiah, called to be an apostle, separated unto the glad tidings of YHWH,
ईश्वरो निजपुत्रमधि यं सुसंवादं भविष्यद्वादिभि र्धर्म्मग्रन्थे प्रतिश्रुतवान् तं सुसंवादं प्रचारयितुं पृथक्कृत आहूतः प्रेरितश्च प्रभो र्यीशुख्रीष्टस्य सेवको यः पौलः
2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures, )
स रोमानगरस्थान् ईश्वरप्रियान् आहूतांश्च पवित्रलोकान् प्रति पत्रं लिखति।
3 Concerning his Son Yahushua the Messiah our Saviour, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
अस्माकं स प्रभु र्यीशुः ख्रीष्टः शारीरिकसम्बन्धेन दायूदो वंशोद्भवः
4 And declared to be the Son of YHWH with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
पवित्रस्यात्मनः सम्बन्धेन चेश्वरस्य प्रभाववान् पुत्र इति श्मशानात् तस्योत्थानेन प्रतिपन्नं।
5 By whom we have received favour and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
अपरं येषां मध्ये यीशुना ख्रीष्टेन यूयमप्याहूतास्ते ऽन्यदेशीयलोकास्तस्य नाम्नि विश्वस्य निदेशग्राहिणो यथा भवन्ति
6 Among whom are ye also the called of Yahushua the Messiah:
तदभिप्रायेण वयं तस्माद् अनुग्रहं प्रेरितत्वपदञ्च प्राप्ताः।
7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of YHWH, called to be saints: favour to you and peace from YHWH our Father, and the Master Yahushua the Messiah.
तातेनास्माकम् ईश्वरेण प्रभुणा यीशुख्रीष्टेन च युष्मभ्यम् अनुग्रहः शान्तिश्च प्रदीयेतां।
8 First, I thank my Elohim through Yahushua the Messiah for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
प्रथमतः सर्व्वस्मिन् जगति युष्माकं विश्वासस्य प्रकाशितत्वाद् अहं युष्माकं सर्व्वेषां निमित्तं यीशुख्रीष्टस्य नाम गृह्लन् ईश्वरस्य धन्यवादं करोमि।
9 For YHWH is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the glad tidings of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
अपरम् ईश्वरस्य प्रसादाद् बहुकालात् परं साम्प्रतं युष्माकं समीपं यातुं कथमपि यत् सुयोगं प्राप्नोमि, एतदर्थं निरन्तरं नामान्युच्चारयन् निजासु सर्व्वप्रार्थनासु सर्व्वदा निवेदयामि,
10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of YHWH to come unto you.
एतस्मिन् यमहं तत्पुत्रीयसुसंवादप्रचारणेन मनसा परिचरामि स ईश्वरो मम साक्षी विद्यते।
11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
यतो युष्माकं मम च विश्वासेन वयम् उभये यथा शान्तियुक्ता भवाम इति कारणाद्
12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
युष्माकं स्थैर्य्यकरणार्थं युष्मभ्यं किञ्चित्परमार्थदानदानाय युष्मान् साक्षात् कर्त्तुं मदीया वाञ्छा।
13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto, ) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
हे भ्रातृगण भिन्नदेशीयलोकानां मध्ये यद्वत् तद्वद् युष्माकं मध्येपि यथा फलं भुञ्जे तदभिप्रायेण मुहुर्मुहु र्युष्माकं समीपं गन्तुम् उद्यतोऽहं किन्तु यावद् अद्य तस्मिन् गमने मम विघ्नो जात इति यूयं यद् अज्ञातास्तिष्ठथ तदहम् उचितं न बुध्ये।
14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.
अहं सभ्यासभ्यानां विद्वदविद्वताञ्च सर्व्वेषाम् ऋणी विद्ये।
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the glad tidings to you that are at Rome also.
अतएव रोमानिवासिनां युष्माकं समीपेऽपि यथाशक्ति सुसंवादं प्रचारयितुम् अहम् उद्यतोस्मि।
16 For I am not ashamed of the glad tidings of the Messiah: for it is the power of YHWH unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
यतः ख्रीष्टस्य सुसंवादो मम लज्जास्पदं नहि स ईश्वरस्य शक्तिस्वरूपः सन् आ यिहूदीयेभ्यो ऽन्यजातीयान् यावत् सर्व्वजातीयानां मध्ये यः कश्चिद् तत्र विश्वसिति तस्यैव त्राणं जनयति।
17 For therein is the righteousness of YHWH revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
यतः प्रत्ययस्य समपरिमाणम् ईश्वरदत्तं पुण्यं तत्सुसंवादे प्रकाशते। तदधि धर्म्मपुस्तकेपि लिखितमिदं "पुण्यवान् जनो विश्वासेन जीविष्यति"।
18 For the wrath of YHWH is revealed from heaven against all wickedness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
अतएव ये मानवाः पापकर्म्मणा सत्यतां रुन्धन्ति तेषां सर्व्वस्य दुराचरणस्याधर्म्मस्य च विरुद्धं स्वर्गाद् ईश्वरस्य कोपः प्रकाशते।
19 Because that which may be known of YHWH is manifest in them; for YHWH hath shewed it unto them.
यत ईश्वरमधि यद्यद् ज्ञेयं तद् ईश्वरः स्वयं तान् प्रति प्रकाशितवान् तस्मात् तेषाम् अगोचरं नहि।
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and supernal nature; so that they are without excuse: (aïdios g126)
फलतस्तस्यानन्तशक्तीश्वरत्वादीन्यदृश्यान्यपि सृष्टिकालम् आरभ्य कर्म्मसु प्रकाशमानानि दृश्यन्ते तस्मात् तेषां दोषप्रक्षालनस्य पन्था नास्ति। (aïdios g126)
21 Because that, when they knew YHWH, they glorified him not as Elohim, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
अपरम् ईश्वरं ज्ञात्वापि ते तम् ईश्वरज्ञानेन नाद्रियन्त कृतज्ञा वा न जाताः; तस्मात् तेषां सर्व्वे तर्का विफलीभूताः, अपरञ्च तेषां विवेकशून्यानि मनांसि तिमिरे मग्नानि।
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
ते स्वान् ज्ञानिनो ज्ञात्वा ज्ञानहीना अभवन्
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible Elohim into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
अनश्वरस्येश्वरस्य गौरवं विहाय नश्वरमनुष्यपशुपक्ष्युरोगामिप्रभृतेराकृतिविशिष्टप्रतिमास्तैराश्रिताः।
24 Wherefore YHWH also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
इत्थं त ईश्वरस्य सत्यतां विहाय मृषामतम् आश्रितवन्तः सच्चिदानन्दं सृष्टिकर्त्तारं त्यक्त्वा सृष्टवस्तुनः पूजां सेवाञ्च कृतवन्तः; (aiōn g165)
25 Who changed the truth of YHWH into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. (aiōn g165)
इति हेतोरीश्वरस्तान् कुक्रियायां समर्प्य निजनिजकुचिन्ताभिलाषाभ्यां स्वं स्वं शरीरं परस्परम् अपमानितं कर्त्तुम् अददात्।
26 For this cause YHWH gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
ईश्वरेण तेषु क्वभिलाषे समर्पितेषु तेषां योषितः स्वाभाविकाचरणम् अपहाय विपरीतकृत्ये प्रावर्त्तन्त;
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
तथा पुरुषा अपि स्वाभाविकयोषित्सङ्गमं विहाय परस्परं कामकृशानुना दग्धाः सन्तः पुमांसः पुंभिः साकं कुकृत्ये समासज्य निजनिजभ्रान्तेः समुचितं फलम् अलभन्त।
28 And even as they did not like to retain YHWH in their knowledge, YHWH gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
ते स्वेषां मनःस्वीश्वराय स्थानं दातुम् अनिच्छुकास्ततो हेतोरीश्वरस्तान् प्रति दुष्टमनस्कत्वम् अविहितक्रियत्वञ्च दत्तवान्।
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
अतएव ते सर्व्वे ऽन्यायो व्यभिचारो दुष्टत्वं लोभो जिघांसा ईर्ष्या वधो विवादश्चातुरी कुमतिरित्यादिभि र्दुष्कर्म्मभिः परिपूर्णाः सन्तः
30 Backbiters, haters of YHWH, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
कर्णेजपा अपवादिन ईश्वरद्वेषका हिंसका अहङ्कारिण आत्मश्लाघिनः कुकर्म्मोत्पादकाः पित्रोराज्ञालङ्घका
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
अविचारका नियमलङ्घिनः स्नेहरहिता अतिद्वेषिणो निर्दयाश्च जाताः।
32 Who knowing the judgment of YHWH, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
ये जना एतादृशं कर्म्म कुर्व्वन्ति तएव मृतियोग्या ईश्वरस्य विचारमीदृशं ज्ञात्वापि त एतादृशं कर्म्म स्वयं कुर्व्वन्ति केवलमिति नहि किन्तु तादृशकर्म्मकारिषु लोकेष्वपि प्रीयन्ते।
