Revelation 7
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
第四款 中間の二の出現 其後我、四の天使地の四隅に立てるを見しが、彼等は地の四方の風を引止め、地上にも海上にも如何なる樹の上にも吹かざらしめんとせり。
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Elohim: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
此外に又一の天使、活き給へる神の印を持ちて東より上るを見たり。此天使、海陸を害する事を許されたる四の天使に聲高く呼はりて、
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our Elohim in their foreheads.
言ひけるは、我等我神の僕等の額に印するまで、海にも陸にも樹木にも触るること勿れ、と。
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
斯て我、イスラエルの子等の諸族中印せられたる者の數を聞きしに、印せられたる者十四萬四千人、
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
即ちユダ族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、ルベン族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、ガド族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
アゼル族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、ネフタリ族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、マナッセ族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
シメオン族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、レヴィ族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、イッサカアル族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
ザブロン族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、ヨゼフ族の中にて一萬二千人印せられ、ベンヤミン族の中にて一萬二千人印せられたるなり。
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
其後我、誰も數ふる事能はざる大群衆を見しが、諸國、諸族、諸民、諸語の中よりして、白き衣を着し、手に棕櫚の葉を持ちて、玉座の前、羔の目前に立ち、
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our Elohim which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
聲高く呼はりて言ひけるは、救霊は玉座に坐し給ふ我神及び羔に歸す、と。
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped YHWH,
玉座と翁等と四の動物との周圍に立ち居たりし天使一同、玉座の前に平伏し、神を禮拝し奉りて、
12 Saying, amein: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our Elohim for ever and ever. amein. (aiōn g165)
言ひけるは、アメン、祝福と光榮と、叡智と感謝と、尊貴と能力と、世々に限なく我神に歸す、アメン、と。 (aiōn g165)
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
時に翁の一人答へて我に謂ひけるは、白き衣を着せる此人々は誰なるぞ、何處より來れるぞ、と。
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
我、我君よ、汝こそ知れるなれ、と言ひしに翁我に謂ひけるは、此人々は大いなる患難より來り、羔の血に己が衣を洗ひて白く為したる者なり。
15 Therefore are they before the throne of YHWH, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
故に神の玉座の前に在りて、其[聖]殿に於て日夜之に事へ奉り、又玉座に坐し給ふものは、彼等の上に幕屋を張り給ふべし。
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
彼等最早飢渇く事なかるべく、日光も熱氣も彼等に中るべからず、
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and YHWH shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
其は玉座の正面に在せる羔彼等を牧して、之を生命の水の源に導き給ひ、神は彼等の目より凡ての涙を拭ひ給ふべければなり、と。
