Psalms 98

1 O sing unto YHWH a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Cantae ao Senhor um cantico novo, porque fez maravilhas; a sua dextra e o seu braço sancto lhe alcançaram a salvação.

2 YHWH hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

O Senhor fez notoria a sua salvação, manifestou a sua justiça perante os olhos das nações.

3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our Elohim.

Lembrou-se da sua benignidade e da sua verdade para com a casa d'Israel: todas as extremidades da terra viram a salvação do nosso Deus.

4 Make a joyful noise unto YHWH, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

Exultae no Senhor, toda a terra; exclamae e alegrae-vos de prazer, e cantae louvores.

5 Sing unto YHWH with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

Cantae louvores ao Senhor com a harpa; com a harpa e a voz do canto.

6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before YHWH, the King.

Com trombetas e som de cornetas, exultae perante a face do Senhor, o Rei.

7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

Brama o mar e a sua plenitude; o mundo, e os que n'elle habitam.

8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

Os rios batam as palmas: regozijem-se tambem as montanhas,

9 Before YHWH; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Perante a face do Senhor, porque vem a julgar a terra: com justiça julgará o mundo, e o povo com equidade.
