Psalms 76
1 In Judah is Elohim known: his name is great in Israel.
Thaburi ya Asafu Kũu Juda Ngai nĩoĩkaine; rĩĩtwa rĩake nĩ inene thĩinĩ wa Isiraeli.
2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.
Hema yake ĩrĩ kũu Salemu, gĩikaro gĩake kĩrĩ Zayuni.
3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. (Selah)
Kũu nĩkuo oinangĩire mĩguĩ ya ũta ĩkũhenia, akiunanga ngo na hiũ ciao cia njora, o na indo ciao ciothe cia mbaara.
4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
Wee ũcangararĩte nĩ ũtheri, ũkagĩa na ũkaru gũkĩra irĩma irĩ na ũtonga wa nyamũ cia iguĩma.
5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
Andũ arĩa njamba magwĩte magatunywo indo, magakoma toro wao wa gĩkuũ; gũtirĩ o na ũmwe wa njamba cia ita ũngĩambararia moko make.
6 At thy rebuke, O Elohim of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.
Nĩ ũndũ wa ikũũma rĩaku, Wee Ngai wa Jakubu, mbarathi o ũndũ ũmwe na ngaari cia ita igwĩte thĩ ikaaga kwĩigua.
7 Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
Wee nowe wa gwĩtigĩrwo. Nũũ ũngĩrũgama mbere yaku rĩrĩa ũrĩ mũrakaru?
8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
Wamenyithanirie itua rĩaku ũrĩ o kũu igũrũ, nayo thĩ ĩgĩĩtigĩra na ĩgĩkira ki,
9 When Elohim arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. (Selah)
rĩrĩa Wee Ngai, warũgamire ũtuanĩre ciira, nĩguo ũhonokie arĩa othe anyamaarĩku a bũrũri.
10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
Ti-itherũ mangʼũrĩ ma andũ nĩmagakũgoocithia, na ũkeyoha matigari ma mangʼũrĩ maku ta mũcibi.
11 Vow, and pay unto YHWH your Elohim: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
Mwĩhĩtei mĩĩhĩtwa harĩ Jehova Ngai wanyu na mũmĩhingie; rekei mabũrũri marĩa mothe mũriganĩtie namo marehere ũcio wa gwĩtigĩrwo iheo.
12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
Athuthaga roho wa arĩa maathanaga; etigagĩrwo nĩ athamaki a thĩ.
