Psalms 60

1 O Elohim, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

Pou direktè koral la; selon melodi “Lis Akò La”. Yon powèm David, pou enstwi; lè l te lite avèk Aram-Naharaim e avèk Aram-Zobah; epi, Joab te retounen e te frape douz-mil Edomit nan Vale Sèl la. O Bondye, Ou te rejte nou. Ou te kraze nou. Ou te fache. O restore nou ankò.

2 Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Ou te fè latè tranble. Ou te fann li pou l ouvri. Geri brèch li yo, paske l ap sekwe.

3 Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

Ou te fè pèp Ou a wè anpil bagay di. Ou te bay nou diven pou bwè ki fè nou toudi.

4 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)

Ou te bay yon drapo pou (sila) ki gen lakrent Ou yo, pou fè l byen parèt akoz verite a. Tan

5 That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

Pou byeneme Ou yo kab delivre, Sove avèk men dwat Ou e reponn nou!

6 Elohim hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

Bondye te pale nan sentete Li: “Mwen va triyonfe! Mwen va divize Sichem e tire yon lin nan vale Succoth la.

7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

Galaad se pou Mwen e Manassé se pa M. Anplis, Éphraïm se kas sou tèt Mwen. Juda se baton wayal Mwen an.

8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

Moab se basen lave Mwen. Sou Edom, Mwen va jete soulye Mwen. Mwen rele viktwa sou peye Filisten yo.”

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

Kilès k ap fè m rive nan vil fòterès la? Kilès k ap mennen mwen antre Edom?

10 Wilt not thou, O Elohim, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O Elohim, which didst not go out with our armies?

Èske Ou menm, SENYÈ a, pa t rejte nou? Epi èske Ou p ap sòti avèk lame nou yo, O Bondye?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

O bannou sekou kont advèsè a, paske delivrans pa lòm se an ven.

12 Through Elohim we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.

Nan Bondye, nou va fè bèl bagay yo ak gwo kouraj. Se Li menm ki va foule lènmi nou yo anba pye.
