< Psalms 39 >

1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
NGAI inda: I pan kanai ong al ai kan, pwe i ender wia dip ki lo i. I pan sali pena au ai arain en me sapung o mi re i.
2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.
I kadukiedier ai lokaia o nenenlar o solar inda duen peren, a ai kalokolok lalaudalar.
3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,
Mongiong i karakaradar nan kapedi, o ma i pan tamanda mepukat, a rasong kisiniai lulada; i ap lokaia kida lo i.
4 YHWH, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
Maing, kotin padaki ong ia, me maur i pan imwisokela, o imwi pan ai ran akan, me i pan samoer.
5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. (Selah)
Mangi, ai ran akan dueta tälap en pa en aramas re omui; o maur i likamata sota meakot mo’mui. Melel aramas, me kin keleki pein i, kin dueta adiniai. (Sela)
6 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.
Re kin alialu sili rasong mota, o re kin katoutouki pein irail dodok mal. Re kin nanak pena ap sasa, is me pan naineki.
7 And now, YHWH, what wait I for? my hope is in thee.
Ari Maing, is me i en auiaui? I kaporoporeki komui.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
Dore ia la sang dip ai karos, o kom der mueid ong, me pweipwei kan en kaurur kin ia.
9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it.
I pan nenenla o sota sar pasang au ai, pwe kom kotin wiadar.
10 Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
Kotin katukiedi omui kaloke ia; pwe ngai dupok kilar ai kalokolok pan lim omui.
11 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. (Selah)
Ma kom pan kaloke amen pweki dip a, mom a kaselel ap pan suedala likamada man en mot kangala. O meid mal aramas karos! (Sela)
12 Hear my prayer, O YHWH, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
Maing kom kotin ereki ai kapakap, o mangi ai likwir, o der sapaimokid ni ai sangesang, pwe ngai sapwilim omui men kairu o pweledan omui wei men dueta sam ai kan karos.
13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.
Kom kotin muei sang ia, pwe i en kelailada, mon ai pan kokowei o solar mia.
