Psalms 32

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

۱ قصیده داود خوشابحال کسی‌که عصیان او آمرزیده شد و گناه وی مستور گردید.

2 Blessed is the man unto whom YHWH imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

۲ خوشابحال کسی‌که خداوند به وی جرمی درحساب نیاورد. و در روح او حیله‌ای نمی باشد.

3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

۳ هنگامی که خاموش می‌بودم، استخوانهایم پوسیده می‌شد از نعره‌ای که تمامی روزمی زدم.

4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. (Selah)

۴ چونکه دست تو روز و شب بر من سنگین می‌بود. رطوبتم به خشکی تابستان مبدل گردید، سلاه.

5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto YHWH; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)

۵ به گناه خود نزد تواعتراف کردم و جرم خود را مخفی نداشتم. گفتم: عصیان خود را نزد خداوند اقرارمی کنم. پس تو آلایش گناهم را عفو کردی، سلاه.

6 For this shall every one that is righteous pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

۶ از این‌رو هر مقدسی در وقت اجابت نزد تودعا خواهد کرد. وقتی که آبهای بسیار به سیلان آید، هرگز بدو نخواهد رسید.

7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)

۷ توملجای من هستی مرا از تنگی حفظ خواهی کرد. مرا به‌سرودهای نجات احاطه خواهی نمود، سلاه.

8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

۸ تو را حکمت خواهم آموخت و براهی که باید رفت ارشاد خواهم نمود و تو را به چشم خودکه بر تو است نصیحت خواهم فرمود.

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.

۹ مثل اسب و قاطر بی‌فهم مباشید که آنها را برای بستن به دهنه و لگام زینت می‌دهند، والا نزدیک تونخواهند آمد.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in YHWH, mercy shall compass him about.

۱۰ غمهای شریر بسیار می‌باشد. اما هر‌که برخداوند توکل دارد رحمت او را احاطه خواهد کرد.

11 Be glad in YHWH, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

۱۱ ‌ای صالحان در خداوند شادی و وجد کنید و‌ای همه راست دلان ترنم نمایید.
