Psalms 3
1 YHWH, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
| מזמור לדוד בברחו מפני אבשלום בנו יהוה מה רבו צרי רבים קמים עלי׃ |
2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in Elohim. (Selah)
| רבים אמרים לנפשי אין ישועתה לו באלהים סלה׃ |
3 But thou, O YHWH, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
| ואתה יהוה מגן בעדי כבודי ומרים ראשי׃ |
4 I cried unto YHWH with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. (Selah)
| קולי אל יהוה אקרא ויענני מהר קדשו סלה׃ |
5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for YHWH sustained me.
| אני שכבתי ואישנה הקיצותי כי יהוה יסמכני׃ |
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
| לא אירא מרבבות עם אשר סביב שתו עלי׃ |
7 Arise, O YHWH; save me, O my Elohim: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.
| קומה יהוה הושיעני אלהי כי הכית את כל איבי לחי שני רשעים שברת׃ |
8 Salvation belongeth unto YHWH: thy blessing is upon thy people. (Selah)
| ליהוה הישועה על עמך ברכתך סלה׃ |
