Psalms 141

1 YHWH, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

दावीद का एक स्तोत्र. याहवेह, मैं आपको पुकार रहा हूं, मेरे पास शीघ्र ही आइए; जब मैं आपको पुकारूं, मेरी पुकार पर ध्यान दीजिए.

2 Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

आपके सामने मेरी प्रार्थना सुगंधधूप; तथा मेरे हाथ उठाना, सान्ध्य बलि समर्पण जैसा हो जाए.

3 Set a watch, O YHWH, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.

याहवेह, मेरे मुख पर पहरा बैठा दीजिए; मेरे होंठों के द्वार की चौकसी कीजिए.

4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.

मेरे हृदय को किसी भी अनाचार की ओर जाने न दीजिए, मुझे कुकृत्यों में शामिल होने से रोक लीजिए, मुझे दुष्टों की संगति से बचाइए; मुझे उनके उत्कृष्ट भोजन को चखने से बचाइए.

5 Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.

कोई नीतिमान पुरुष मुझे ताड़ना करे, मैं इसे कृपा के रूप में स्वीकार करूंगा; वह मुझे डांट लगाए, यह मेरे सिर के अभ्यंजन तुल्य है. इसे अस्वीकार करना मेरे लिए उपयुक्त नहीं, फिर भी मैं निरंतर दुष्टों की बुराई के कार्यों के विरुद्ध प्रार्थना करता रहूंगा.

6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

जब उनके प्रधानों को ऊंची चट्टान से नीचे फेंक दिया जाएगा तब उन्हें मेरे इस वक्तव्य पर स्मरण आएगा कि वह व्यर्थ न था, कि यह कितना सांत्वनापूर्ण एवं सुखदाई वक्तव्य है:

7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth. (Sheol h7585)

“जैसे हल चलाने के बाद भूमि टूटकर बिखर जाती है, वैसे ही हमारी हड्डियों को टूटे अधोलोक के मुख पर बिखरा दिया जाएगा.” (Sheol h7585)

8 But mine eyes are unto thee, O Elohim YHWH: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

मेरे प्रभु, मेरे याहवेह, मेरी दृष्टि आप ही पर लगी हुई है; आप ही मेरा आश्रय हैं, मुझे असुरक्षित न छोड़िएगा.

9 Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and the gins of the workers of iniquity.

मुझे उन फन्दों से सुरक्षा प्रदान कीजिए, जो उन्होंने मेरे लिए बिछाए हैं, उन फन्दों से, जो दुष्टों द्वारा मेरे लिए तैयार किए गए हैं.

10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.

दुर्जन अपने ही जाल में फंस जाएं, और मैं सुरक्षित पार निकल जाऊं.
