Psalms 140
1 Deliver me, O YHWH, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;
दावीदको भजन। हे याहवेह, दुष्ट मानिसहरूदेखि मलाई छुटाउनुहोस्; हिंस्रक मानिसहरूदेखि मलाई रक्षा गरिदिनुहोस्;
2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.
जसले आफ्ना हृदयमा दुष्ट योजना बनाउँछन्, र दिनहुँ युद्ध मच्चाउँछन्।
3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. (Selah)
तिनीहरूले आफ्ना जिब्राहरू सर्पको जत्तिकै विषालु बनाउँछन्; तिनीहरूका ओठमा गोमन सर्पको विष छ। सेला
4 Keep me, O YHWH, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
हे याहवेह, दुष्टहरूका हातबाट मलाई सुरक्षित राख्नुहोस्; हिंस्रक मानिसबाट मलाई रक्षा गर्नुहोस्; जसले मेरा खुट्टाहरूमा ठेस लाग्ने योजना बनाउँछन्।
5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. (Selah)
अहङ्कारी मानिसहरूले मेरो निम्ति पासो थापेका छन्; तिनीहरूले आफ्ना जाल बिछाएका छन्; र मेरो निम्ति बाटोमा धराप थापेका छन्। सेला
6 I said unto YHWH, Thou art my El: hear the voice of my supplications, O YHWH.
म याहवेहलाई भन्दछु, “तपाईं मेरा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ।” हे याहवेह, मेरो दयाको पुकार सुन्नुहोस्!
7 O Elohim YHWH, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
हे याहवेह प्रभु, मेरा शक्तिशाली उद्धारक, लडाइँका दिनमा तपाईंले मेरो शिर सुरक्षित राख्नुहुन्छ।
8 Grant not, O YHWH, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. (Selah)
हे याहवेह, दुष्टहरूका इच्छा पूरा हुन नदिनुहोस्; तिनीहरूका योजनाहरू सफल हुन नदिनुहोस्। सेला
9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
जसले मलाई चारैतिरबाट घमण्डले शिर उठाउँदै घेरेका छन्; तिनीहरूका ओठको दुष्टता तिनीहरूमाथि नै आइपरोस्!
10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
झरझराउँदो भुङ्ग्रो तिनीहरूमाथि ओइरियोस्; तिनीहरूलाई आगोमा नै फ्याँकियोस्; र कहिल्यै उठ्न नसक्ने गरी हिलाम्मे खाडलमा जाकिऊन्!
11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
निन्दा गर्नेहरू भूमिमा स्थापित नहोऊन्, हिंस्रक मानिसलाई विनाशले शिकार बनाओस्!
12 I know that YHWH will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
म जान्दछु, याहवेहले सताइएहरूका पक्षमा न्याय दिनुहुन्छ; र खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई न्यायको समर्थन गर्नुहुन्छ।
13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.
निश्चय नै धर्मीहरूले तपाईंको नामको प्रशंसा गर्नेछन्; अनि सत्यनिष्ठ मानिसहरू तपाईंको उपस्थितिमा बास गर्नेछन्।
