Psalms 131

1 YHWH, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

O cântare a treptelor, a lui David. DOAMNE, inima mea nu este trufașă, nici ochii mei îngâmfați, nici nu mă deprind cu lucruri mari, nici cu cele prea înalte pentru mine.

2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Cu adevărat m-am purtat bine și m-am liniștit, ca un copil care este înțărcat de mama lui. Sufletul meu este întocmai ca un copil înțărcat.

3 Let Israel hope in YHWH from henceforth and for ever.

Să spere Israel în DOMNUL, de acum înainte și pentru totdeauna.
