Psalms 130

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O YHWH.

Iz globin sem klical k tebi, oh Gospod.

2 YHWH, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Gospod, usliši moj glas. Naj bodo tvoja ušesa pozorna na glas mojih ponižnih prošenj.

3 If thou, YAH, shouldest mark iniquities, O YHWH, who shall stand?

Če si boš ti, Gospod, zaznamoval krivičnosti, oh Gospod, kdo bo vzdržal?

4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Toda s teboj je odpuščanje, da bi se te lahko bali.

5 I wait for YHWH, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

Čakam na Gospoda, moja duša čaka in v njegovo besedo zaupam.

6 My soul waiteth for YHWH more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Moja duša čaka na Gospoda bolj kakor tisti, ki stražijo na jutro, pravim, bolj kakor tisti, ki stražijo na jutro.

7 Let Israel hope in YHWH: for with YHWH there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

Naj Izrael upa v Gospoda, kajti z Gospodom je usmiljenje in z njim je obilna odkupitev.

8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.

On bo Izraela odkupil pred vsemi njegovimi krivičnostmi.
