< Psalms 13 >

1 How long wilt thou forget me, O YHWH? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Ki he Takimuʻa, ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. ‌ʻE Sihova, ʻe fēfē hono fuoloa? Mo hoʻo kei fakangalongaloʻi au? Ke taʻengata? ʻE fēfē hono fuoloa ʻo hoʻo fufū ho fofonga ʻiate au?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
‌ʻE fēfē hono fuoloa mo ʻeku lauloto mo hoku laumālie, ʻo loto mamahi pē ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē? ʻE fēfē hono fuoloa mo e fielahi kiate au ʻa hoku fili?
3 Consider and hear me, O YHWH my Elohim: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
‌ʻE Sihova ko hoku ʻOtua, ke ke tokanga mai pea ongoʻi au: fakamaama hoku mata, telia naʻaku mohe ʻi he mohe ʻoe mate;
4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
Telia naʻa pehē ʻe hoku fili, “Kuo u ikuna ia;” pea fiefia ʻakinautolu ʻoku fakamamahiʻi au ʻo kau ka ngaue.
5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Ka kuo u falala ki hoʻo ʻaloʻofa; ʻo fiefia hoku loto ʻi hoʻo fakamoʻui.
6 I will sing unto YHWH, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Te u hiva kia Sihova, ko e meʻa ʻi heʻene fai lelei lahi ʻaupito kiate au.
