Psalms 109
1 Hold not thy peace, O Elohim of my praise;
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನಾನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವ ದೇವರೇ, ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ.
2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
೨ದುಷ್ಟರು, ವಂಚಕರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಾಯ್ದೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಸುಳ್ಳು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
೩ಅವರು ಹಗೆಯ ನುಡಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
೪ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದರೂ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನಾದರೋ ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
೫ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
೬ದುಷ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನೇಮಿಸು; ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುವವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು.
7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
೭ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಅಪರಾಧಿ ಎಂದು ತೀರ್ಪುಹೊಂದಲಿ; ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೂ ಪಾಪವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.
8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
೮ಅವನ ಜೀವಿತದ ದಿನಗಳು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಲಿ.
9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
೯ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅನಾಥರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಂಡತಿ ವಿಧವೆಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
೧೦ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಳಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರಂತೆ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಬೇಡಲಿ.
11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
೧೧ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟವನು ಅವನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ; ಪರರು ಅವನ ಕಷ್ಟಾರ್ಜಿತವನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
೧೨ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಕೃಪೆತೋರಿಸದಿರಲಿ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ದಯೆತೋರದಿರಲಿ,
13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
೧೩ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗಲಿ; ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅದು ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿ.
14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with YHWH; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮರೆಯದಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಪಾಪವು ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.
15 Let them be before YHWH continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
೧೫ಅವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರಲಿ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲಿ.
16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
೧೬ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಕರುಣೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟನು, ಬಡವನನ್ನು, ದೀನನನ್ನು, ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು.
17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
೧೭ಶಪಿಸುವುದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಅದೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ! ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿರಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಿರಲಿ!
18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
೧೮ಅವನು ಶಾಪವನ್ನೇ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ, ಅದು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ಅವನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಲಿ.
19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
೧೯ಶಾಪವೇ ಅವನ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯಂತೆಯೂ, ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಆಗಲಿ.
20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from YHWH, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
೨೦ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ಕೀಳುಮಾತನಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಇದೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ.
21 But do thou for me, O Elohim YHWH, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
೨೧ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಹಿತಕರವಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.
22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
೨೨ನಾನು ಬಡವನೂ, ದೀನನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನಲ್ಲಾ! ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಗು ನೆಟ್ಟಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
೨೩ಸಂಜೆಯ ನೆರಳಿನಂತೆ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಗಾಳಿಯು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಮಿಡತೆಯಂತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
೨೪ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳು ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವು; ನನ್ನ ದೇಹವು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕ್ಷೀಣವಾಯಿತು.
25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
೨೫ನಾನು ಜನರ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರು ತಲೆಯಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
26 Help me, O YHWH my Elohim: O save me according to thy mercy:
೨೬ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.
27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, YHWH, hast done it.
೨೭ಆಗ ಅವರು ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವೆಂದೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನೀನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.
೨೮ಅವರು ಶಪಿಸಲಿ, ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವಿ. ಅವರು ಎದ್ದು ಅಪಮಾನ ಹೊಂದುವರು. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ನಾನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವೆನು.
29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
೨೯ಮಾನಭಂಗವೇ ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ; ನಾಚಿಕೆಯೇ ಅವರ ಹೊದಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿ.
30 I will greatly praise YHWH with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
೩೦ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save
೩೧ಆತನು ದೀನನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರಾಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸುವವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
