Matthew 17
1 And after six days Yahushua taketh Kepha, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
六日の後イエズス、ペトロとヤコボと其兄弟ヨハネとを別に、高き山に連行き給ひしに、
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
彼等の前にて御容變り、御顔は日の如く輝き、其衣服は雪の如く白くなれり。
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and EliYah talking with him.
折しもモイゼとエリアと、彼等に現れてイエズスと語り居りしが、
4 Then answered Kepha, and said unto Yahushua, my master, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for EliYah.
ペトロ答へてイエズスに云ひけるは、主よ、善哉我等が此處に居る事。思召ならば、此處に三の廬を造り、一は汝の為、一はモイゼの為、一はエリアの為にせん、と。
5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
彼尚語れるに、折しも輝ける雲彼等を蔽ひ、雲より聲して曰はく、「是ぞ能く我心を安んぜる我愛子なる、是に聴け」、と。
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
弟子等聴きつつ倒伏し、懼るる事甚しかりき。
7 And Yahushua came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
イエズス近づきて彼等に触れ、起きよ、懼るること勿れ、と曰ひしかば、
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Yahushua only.
彼等目を翹げしに、イエズスの外誰をも見ざりき。
9 And as they came down from the mountain, Yahushua charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
彼等が山を下る時、イエズス是を戒めて、人の子死人の中より蘇る迄は、汝等が見し事を誰にも語ること勿れ、と曰ひしに、
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that EliYah must first come?
弟子等問ひて云ひけるは、然らばエリア先に來るべし、と律法學士等の云へるは何ぞや。
11 And Yahushua answered and said unto them, EliYah truly shall first come, and restore all things.
答へて曰ひけるは、實にエリアは來りて萬事を改むべし。
12 But I say unto you, That EliYah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
但我汝等に告ぐ、エリアは既に來れり、然れど人々之を識らず、而も縦に遇へり。斯の如く、人の子も亦彼等より苦を受けんとす、と。
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
是に於て弟子等、是洗者ヨハネを斥して曰ひしものなる事を暁れり。
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
イエズス群衆の處に來り給ひしに、或人是に近づき、前に跪きて云ひけるは、
15 My master, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
主よ、我子を憐み給へ、癲癇にて屡火の中に倒れ、苦しむこと甚し、
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
之を汝の弟子等に差出したれど、彼等は醫すこと能はざりき、と。
17 Then Yahushua answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
イエズス答へて、嗚呼不信邪惡の代なる哉。我何時まで汝等と共に居らんや、何時まで汝等を忍ばんや。彼を我に携へ來れ、と曰ひて、
18 And Yahushua rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
惡魔を戒め給ひしかば、惡魔出でて子は即時に痊えたり。
19 Then came the disciples to Yahushua apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
時に弟子等竊にイエズスに近づきて、我等が之を逐出す能はざりしは何故ぞ、と云ひしに、
20 And Yahushua said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
イエズス曰ひけるは、汝等の不信仰に由れり。我誠に汝等に告ぐ、汝等若芥種ほどの信仰だにあらば、此山に向ひて、此處より彼處に移れと云はんに、山移らん、斯て汝等に能はざる事なからん。
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
然れど此類は、祈祷と断食とに由らざれば逐出されざるなり、と。
22 And while they abode in Galilee, Yahushua said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
弟子等ガリレアに居れるに、イエズス曰ひけるは、人の子は人々の手に付されんとす、
23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
彼等は之を殺すべく、斯て三日目に蘇るべし、と。弟子等憂ふる事甚しかりき。
24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Kepha, and said, Doth not your Rabbi pay tribute?
彼等カファルナウムに來りし時、二ドラクマ銀貨を取立つる人々ペトロに近づき、汝等の師は二ドラクマ銀貨を納めざるか、と云ひしかばペトロ、
25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Yahushua prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
納む、と云ひしが、頓て家に入りしに、イエズス先ちて之に曰ひけるは、シモンよ汝如何に思ふぞ、世の帝王は、貢又は税を誰より取るぞ、己が子等よりか、他人よりか、と。
26 Kepha saith unto him, Of strangers. Yahushua saith unto him, Then are the children free.
ペトロ、他人より取るなり、と云ひしに、イエズス曰ひけるは、然らば子等は自由なり。
27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
然れど彼等を躓かせざる為に、汝湖に往きて釣を垂れよ、さて初に上る魚を取りて其口を開かば、スタテル銀貨を得べし、之を取りて我と汝との為に彼等に納めよ、と。
