Matthew 12
1 At that time Yahushua went on the Sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.
第一款 イエズスとファリザイ人 其頃、イエズス安息日に當りて[麦]畑を過ぎ給ひしが、弟子等飢ゑて穂を摘み食始めしかば、
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day.
ファリザイ人之を見てイエズスに向ひ、看よ、汝の弟子等安息日に為すべからざる事を為すぞ、と云ひしに、
3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;
イエズス曰ひけるは、ダヴィドが己及伴へる人々の飢ゑし時に為しし事を、汝等読まざりしか。
4 How he entered into the house of Elohim, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
即彼は神の家に入り、司祭ならでは、彼も伴へる人々も食すべからざる、供の麪を食せしなり。
5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
又、安息日に司祭等[神]殿にて安息を犯せども罪なし、と律法にあるを読まざりしか。
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
我汝等に告ぐ、[神]殿よりも大なるもの此處に在り。
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
汝等若「我が好むは憫なり、犠牲に非ず」とは何の謂なるかを知らば、罪なき人を罪せざりしならん、
8 For the Son of man is master even of the Sabbath day.
其は人の子は亦安息日の主なればなり、と。
9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
イエズス此處を去りて、彼等の會堂に至り給ひしに、
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath days? that they might accuse him.
折しも隻手痿たる人あり。彼等イエズスを訟へんとて、安息日に醫すは可きか、と問ひしかば、
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
イエズス曰ひけるは、汝等の中一頭の羊有てる者あらんに、若其羊安息日に坑に陥らば、誰か之を取上げざらんや、
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days.
人の羊に優れること幾何ぞや。然れば安息日に善を為すは可し、と。
13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
頓て其人に、手を伸べよ、と曰ひければ、彼伸ばしたるに、其手痊えて他と齊しくなれり。
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
斯てファリザイ人出でて、如何にしてかイエズスを亡ぼさんと謀り居るを、
15 But when Yahushua knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
イエズス知りて此處を去り給ひしが、多くの人從ひしかば、悉く彼等を醫し、
16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
且我を言顕すこと勿れ、と戒め給へり。
17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying,
是預言者イザヤによりて云はれし事の成就せん為なり、
18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
曰く「是ぞ我選みし我僕、我心に能く適へる最愛の者なる、我彼の上に我霊を置けり。彼は異邦人に正義を告げん。
19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
争はず叫ばず、誰も衢に其聲を聞かず、
20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
正義を勝利に至らしむるまで、折れたる葦を断たず、煙れる麻を熄す事なからん、
21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
又異邦人は彼の名を仰ぎ望まん」と。
22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
時に一人、惡魔に憑かれて瞽ひ口唖なるもの差出されしを、イエズス醫し給ひて、彼言ひ且見るに至りしかば、
23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
群衆皆驚きて、是ダヴィドの子に非ずや、と云へるを、
24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
ファイリザイ人聞きて、彼が惡魔を逐払ふは、唯惡魔の長ベエルゼブブに籍るのみ、と云へり。
25 And Yahushua knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
イエズス彼等の心を知りて曰ひけるは、総て分れ争ふ國は亡びん、又総て分れ争ふ町と家とは立たじ。
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
サタン若サタンを逐払はば、自分るるなり、然らば其國如何にしてか立つべき。
27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
我若ベエルゼブブに籍りて惡魔を逐払ふならば、汝等の子等は誰に籍りて逐払ふぞ、然れば彼等は汝等の審判者となるべし。
28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of Elohim, then the kingdom of Elohim is come unto you.
然れど我若神の霊に籍りて惡魔を逐払ふならば、神の國は汝等に格れるなり。
29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
又人先強き者を縛るに非ずんば、爭でか強き者の家に入りて其家具を掠むることを得ん、[縛りて]後こそ其家を掠むべけれ。
30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
我に與せざる人は我に反し、我と共に歛めざる人は散らすなり。
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men.
故に我汝等に告ぐ、凡ての罪及冒涜は人に赦されん、然れど[聖]霊に對する冒涜は赦されざるべし。
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. (aiōn g165)
又総て人の子に對して[冒涜の]言を吐く人は赦されん、然れど聖霊に對して之を吐く人は、此世、後世共に赦されざるべし。 (aiōn g165)
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
或は樹を善しとし其果をも善しとせよ、或は樹を惡しとし其果をも惡しとせよ、樹は其果によりて知らるればなり。
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
蝮の裔よ、汝等惡しければ、爭でか善きを云ふを得ん、口に語るは心に充てる所より出ればなり。
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
善き人は善き庫より善き物を出し、惡しき人は惡しき庫より惡しき物を出す。
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
我汝等に告ぐ、総て人の語りたる無益な言は、審判の日に於て之を糺さるべし。
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
其は汝其言によりて義とされ、又其言によりて罪せらるべければなり、と。
38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Rabbi, we would see a sign from thee.
其時數人の律法學士及ファリザイ人、彼に答へて云ひけるは、師よ、我等汝の為す徴を見んと欲す、と。
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
イエズス答へて曰ひけるは、奸惡なる現代は徴を求むれども、預言者ヨナの徴の外は徴を與へられじ。
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
即ヨナが三日三夜魚の腹に在りし如く、人の子も三日三夜地の中に在らん。
41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
ニニヴの人々は、審判の時現代と共に立ちて之を罪に定めん、彼等はヨナの説教によりて改心したればなり、見よ、ヨナに優れるもの茲に在り。
42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
南方の女王は、審判の時現代と共に立ちて之を罪に定めん、彼はサロモンの智恵を聴かんとて地の極より來りたればなり、見よ、サロモンに優れるもの茲に在り。
43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
汚鬼人より出でし時、荒れたる處を巡りて息を求むれども得ず、
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
是に於て、出でし我家に歸らんと云ひて、來りて其家の既に空き、掃清められ飾られたるを見るや、
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
乃往きて己よりも惡き七の惡鬼を携へ、偕に入りて此處に住む。斯て彼人の末は、前よりも更に惡くなり増る。極惡なる現代も亦斯の如くならん、と。
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
イエズス尚群衆に語り給へる折しも、母と兄弟等と、彼に物語せんとて外に立ちければ、
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
或人云ひけるは、看よ、汝の母、兄弟汝を尋ねて外に立てり、と。
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
イエズス己に告げし人に答へて曰ひけるは、誰か我母、誰か我兄弟なるぞ、と。
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
即手を弟子等の方に伸べて曰ひけるは、是ぞ我母我兄弟なる、
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
其は誰にもあれ、天に在す我父の御旨を行ふ人、即是我兄弟姉妹母なればなり、と。
