< Mark 8 >
1 In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Yahushua called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,
Saa mmere no mu na nnipakuw foforo bi baa Yesu nkyɛn. Esiane sɛ na hwee nni hɔ a wobedi nti,
2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:
Yesu frɛɛ nʼasuafo no baa ne nkyɛn, na ɔkae se, “Nnipa yi yɛ me mmɔbɔ. Wɔabedi nnansa wɔ ha a, wonni aduan biara a wobedi bio.
3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.
Sɛ migya wɔn kwan sɛ wɔnkɔ a wonnidii a, anhwɛ a na wɔn mu bi atotɔ piti wɔ ɔkwan so, efisɛ wɔn mu bi fi akyirikyiri na wɔbae.”
4 And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
Nʼasuafo no bisaa no se, “Ɛhefa na yebenya aduan ama saa nnipa dodow yi wɔ sare yi so ha?”
5 And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.
Obisaa wɔn se, “Brodo dodow ahe na mowɔ?” Wobuaa no se, “Yɛwɔ ason.”
6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nnipakuw no se wɔntenatena ase wɔ sare no so. Afei ɔfaa brodo ason no, na ohyiraa so, bubuu mu de maa nʼasuafo no ma wɔkyɛ maa nnipa no.
7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.
Na wɔwɔ mpataa kakra wɔ hɔ, nti Yesu hyiraa ɛno nso so de maa asuafo no sɛ wɔnkyɛ ɛno nso mma wɔn.
8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.
Nnipakuw no didi mee no, ogyaa wɔn kwan.
9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.
Nnipa a wodii aduan no dodow bɛyɛ mpem anan. Na wɔtasee ase nnikae no, ɛyɛɛ kɛntɛn ason.
10 And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
Eyi akyi no ɔne nʼasuafo no kɔtenaa ɔkorow mu baa Dalmanuta fam.
11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.
Yesu tee nea wɔkae no, oguu ahome ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Dɛn nti na mohwehwɛ nsɛnkyerɛnne daa yi? Nsɛnkyerɛnne biara nni hɔ a mɛyɛ akyerɛ mo.”
13 And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.
Ɔsan kɔtenaa ɔkorow no mu gyaw wɔn, twa kɔɔ asuogya nohɔ.
14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.
Wɔretwa asu no, Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Monhwɛ mo ho so yiye wɔ Ɔhene Herode ne Farisifo mmɔkaw ho.”
16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.
Asuafo no bisabisaa wɔn ho wɔn ho se, “Asɛm a ɔreka yi ase ne dɛn?” Nea wɔn adwene kyerɛɛ wɔn ne sɛ, ebia ɔreka aduan a wɔn werɛ fii sɛ wɔbɛfa akita no ho asɛm.
17 And when Yahushua knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
Yesu huu nea wodwinnwen no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Ɛnyɛ ɛno ho asɛm na mereka! Monnte eyi ase ana? Mo koma da so pirim?
18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
Mowɔ ani nso munhu ade? Mowɔ aso nso momfa nte asɛm? Na monnkae biribi ana?
19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.
Bere a mibubuu brodo anum mu maa nnipa mpem anum no, nnikae kɛntɛn ahe na motasee?” Wɔkae se, “Dumien.”
20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
“Na mesan de brodo ason maa nnipa mpem anan no nso, ahe na ɛkae?” Wɔkae se, “Nkɛntɛn ason.”
21 And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
Obisaa wɔn bio se, “Monnte ase ara ana?”
22 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
Bere a woduu Betsaida no, nnipa bi de onifuraefo bi brɛɛ no, srɛɛ no sɛ ɔmfa ne nsa nka no, na ɔnsa no yare.
23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
Yesu soo onifuraefo yi nsa de no kɔɔ akuraa no kurotia. Ɔtee ntasu guu onifuraefo no ani so, na ɔde ne nsa guu no so. Yesu bisaa no se, “Wuhu ade ana?”
24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
Afei Yesu de ne nsa kataa nʼani no so bio. Onifuraefo no buee nʼani, na bere a ɔrehwɛ ade haa no, nʼani no yɛɛ yiye a afei de na ohu biribiara kann.
26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.
Yesu ma ɔkɔɔ fie, na ɔka kyerɛɛ no se, “Nnsan nnkɔ akuraa no ase bio.”
27 And Yahushua went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
Yesu ne nʼasuafo no fii Galilea kɔɔ Kaesarea ne Filipi nkuraa ase. Wɔnam ɔkwan so rekɔ no, obisaa wɔn se, “Nnipa ka se mene hena?”
28 And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, EliYah; and others, One of the prophets.

29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Kepha answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Messiah.
Na obisaa wɔn se, “Na mo nso mose meyɛ hena?” Petro buaa no se, “Wone Kristo no.”
30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.
Ɔbɔɔ wɔn kɔkɔ se, wɔnnka nkyerɛ obiara.
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Afei ofii ase kaa Onipa Ba no amane a obehu ne mpanyimfo, asɔfo mpanyin ne Kyerɛwsɛm no akyerɛkyerɛfo no po a wɔbɛpo no, na wɔakum no, na nnansa so wasɔre no ho asɛm kyerɛɛ wɔn.
32 And he spake that saying openly. And Kepha took him, and began to rebuke him.

33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Kepha, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of YHWH, but the things that be of men.
Yesu dan ne ho hwɛɛ nʼasuafo no kaa Petro anim se, “Fi me so, Ɔbonsam! Wʼadwene yɛ nea efi onipa na ɛnyɛ nea efi Onyankopɔn.”
34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Afei ɔfrɛɛ nʼasuafo no ne nnipakuw no baa ne nkyɛn ka kyerɛɛ wɔn se: “Sɛ obi pɛ sɛ odi mʼakyi a ɛsɛ sɛ ɔpa ne ho akyi, na ɔsoa nʼasennua, na odi mʼakyi.

Nea ɔma ne kra som no bo no, ebefi ne nsa. Na nea me ne asɛmpa no nti, ɔbɛhwere ne kra no, wobegye no nkwa.

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Dɛn na ɛsom bo sen ne kra?
38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
