Mark 10
1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
彼はそこから立って，ユダヤ地方とヨルダンの向こうに入った。群衆がまた彼のもとに集まって来た。彼は再びいつものように彼らを教えていた。
2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.
ファリサイ人たちが彼を試そうとしてやって来て，彼に尋ねた，「男が自分の妻を離縁することは許されているのですか」。
3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
彼は答えた，「モーセはあなた方に何と命じたか」 。
4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
彼らは言った，「モーセは，離縁状を書いて妻を離縁することを許しました」。
5 And Yahushua answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
しかしイエスは彼らに言った，「彼は，あなた方の心のかたくなさのゆえに，あなた方にこのおきてを書いたのだ。
6 But from the beginning of the creation YHWH made them male and female.
だが，創造のはじめから，『神は彼らを男性と女性に造られた。
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
このために，男は自分の父と母を離れて，自分の妻と結び付く。
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
こうして二人は一体となる』。それで，彼らはもはや二つではなく，一体なのだ。
9 What therefore YHWH hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
だから，神が結ばれたものを，人が離してはいけない」 。
10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
家の中で，弟子たちはこの問題について再び彼に尋ねた。
11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
彼は彼らに言った，「自分の妻を離縁して別の女と結婚する者は，彼女に対して姦淫を犯すのだ。
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
もし女が自分の夫を離縁して別の男と結婚するなら，彼女は姦淫を犯すのだ」 。
13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
彼に触ってもらおうとして，人々は幼子たちを彼のもとに連れて来ていたが，弟子たちは，幼子たちを連れて来ていた者たちをしかりつけた。
14 But when Yahushua saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of YHWH.
しかしイエスは，それを見て憤りに動かされ，彼らに言った，「幼子たちがわたしのところに来るままにしておきなさい！ 彼らをとどめてはいけない。神の王国はこのような者たちのものだからだ。
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of YHWH as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
本当にはっきりとあなた方に告げる。神の王国を幼子のように受け入れない者は，決してその中に入ることはない」 。
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
彼らを両腕に抱き寄せ，その上に両手を置いて彼らを祝福した。
17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Rabbi, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
彼が道に出て行くと，ある人が走り寄って来てその前にひざまずき，彼に尋ねた，「善い先生，永遠の命を受け継ぐためには何をしたらよいでしょうか」。 (aiōnios g166)
18 And Yahushua said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, YHWH.
イエスは彼に言った，「なぜ，わたしのことを善いと呼ぶのか。神おひとりのほかに善い者はいない。
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
あなたはおきてを知っている。『殺してはいけない』，『姦淫を犯してはいけない』，『盗んではいけない』，『偽りの証言をしてはいけない』，『だまし取ってはいけない』，『あなたの父と母を敬いなさい』」 。
20 And he answered and said unto him, Rabbi, all these have I observed from my youth.
彼はイエスに言った，「先生，わたしはそうした事すべてを幼いころから守ってきました」。
21 Then Yahushua beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
イエスは彼を見つめながら，彼を愛した。そして彼に言った，「あなたには一つのことが足りない。自分の持ち物をみな売って，貧しい人々に与えなさい。そうすれば，天に宝を持つことになる。それから来て，十字架を取り上げてわたしに従いなさい」 。
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
しかし，彼はこの言葉で顔を曇らせ，悲嘆にくれながら去って行った。多くの資産を持っていたからである。
23 And Yahushua looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of YHWH!
イエスはあたりを見回して，弟子たちに言った，「富のある者たちが神の王国に入るのは，何と難しいことか！」
24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Yahushua answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of YHWH!
弟子たちは彼の言葉に驚いた。しかしイエスは再び答えた， 「子供たちよ，富を信頼する者たちが神の王国に入るのは何と難しいことか！
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of YHWH.
富んだ人が神の王国に入るよりは，ラクダが針の穴を通り抜ける方が易しいのだ」 。
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
彼らは非常に驚いて，彼に言った，「それでは，だれが救いを得られるのですか」。
27 And Yahushua looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with YHWH: for with YHWH all things are possible.
イエスは彼らを見つめて言った，「人には不可能だが，神にはそうではない。神にはすべての事が可能だからだ」 。
28 Then Kepha began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
ペトロが彼に言い始めた，「ご覧ください，わたしたちは何もかも後にして，あなたに従ってきました」。
29 And Yahushua answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
イエスは言った，「本当にはっきりとあなた方に告げる。わたしのため，また福音のために，家，兄弟たち，姉妹たち，父，母，妻，子供たち，あるいは畑を後にする者で，
31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
だが，多くの最初の者が最後に，最後の者が最初になるだろう」 。
32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Yahushua went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,
彼らはエルサレムに上って行く途上にあった。そして，イエスが彼らの前を進んで行くので，彼らは驚き，従う者たちは恐れた。彼は再び十二人をわきに連れて行き，自分に起ころうとしている事柄を彼らに告げ始めた。
33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
「見よ，わたしたちはエルサレムに上って行く。人の子は祭司長たちや律法学者たちに引き渡される。彼らは彼を死に定めて異邦人たちに引き渡すだろう。
34 And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
彼らは彼をあざけり，つばをかけ，むち打ち，殺すだろう。三日目に彼は生き返る」 。
35 And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Rabbi, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
ゼベダイの子らのヤコブとヨハネが彼のそばに来て言った，「先生，わたしたちがお願いすることを何でもしていただきたいのですが」。
36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
彼は彼らに言った，「何をして欲しいのか」 。
37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
彼らは彼に言った，「あなたの栄光の中で，わたしたちが，一人はあなたの右に，一人はあなたの左に座ることをお許しください」。
38 But Yahushua said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
しかしイエスは彼らに言った，「あなた方は自分が何を求めているかを知っていない。あなた方は，わたしの飲む杯を飲み，わたしの受けているバプテスマを受けることができるか」 。
39 And they said unto him, We can. And Yahushua said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
彼らは彼に言った，「できます」。 イエスは彼らに言った，「確かに，あなた方はわたしの飲む杯を飲み，わたしの受けているバプテスマを受けるだろう。
40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.
だが，わたしの右や左に座ることは，わたしが与えるものではなく，それが備えられている人たちのためのものだ」 。
41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
ほかの十人はこれを聞き，ヤコブとヨハネに対して憤慨し始めた。
42 But Yahushua called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise dominion over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
イエスは彼らを呼び寄せてこう言った。「あなた方が知っているとおり，異邦人たちを治める支配者と見なされている者たちは，人々に対して威張り散らし，偉い人たちは人々の上に権力を行使している。
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
だが，あなた方の間ではそうであってはならない。むしろ，あなた方の間で偉くなりたいと思う者は，あなた方の召使いでなければいけない。
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
だれでもあなた方の間で第一になりたい者は，みんなの奴隷でなければいけない。
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
というのは，人の子も，仕えてもらうためではなく，むしろ仕え，自分の命を多くの人の身代金として与えるために来たからだ」 。
46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
彼らはエリコにやって来た。彼が弟子たちや大群衆と共にエリコから出て来ると，ティマイオスの子で，バルティマイオスという目の見えないこじきが，道ばたに座っていた。
47 And when he heard that it was Yahushua of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Yahushua, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
彼は，それがナザレ人イエスだと聞くと，「ダビデの子イエスよ，わたしをあわれんでください！」と大声で叫び出した。
48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
大勢の人が，静かにするようしかりつけたが，彼はますます，「ダビデの子イエスよ，わたしをあわれんでください！」と叫び続けた。
49 And Yahushua stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
イエスは立ち止まって，「彼を呼びなさい」 と言った。 人々は盲人を呼んで，彼に言った，「元気を出せ！ 立ち上がれ。あなたをお呼びだ！」
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Yahushua.
彼は外衣を投げ捨てて躍り上がり，イエスのもとにやって来た。
51 And Yahushua answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Master, that I might receive my sight.
イエスは彼に尋ねた，「何をして欲しいのか」 。 盲人はイエスに言った，「ラボニ，また見えるようにしてください」。
52 And Yahushua said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Yahushua in the way.
イエスは彼に言った，「行きなさい。あなたの信仰があなたをよくならせた」 。すぐに彼は見えるようになり，道すがらイエスに従った。
