Luke 4
1 And Yahushua being full of the Holy Spirit returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
Jesus aber voll heiligen Geiste kehrte zurück vom Jordan; und er ward im Geist in die Wüste geführt,
2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
Und vierzig Tage versucht von dem Teufel. Und er aß nichts in jenen Tagen; und als sie ein Ende hatten, hungerte ihn.
3 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of Elohim, command this stone that it be made bread.
Der Teufel aber sprach zu ihm: Wenn du Gottes Sohn bist, so sage diesem Stein, daß er Brot werde.
4 And Yahushua answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of YHWH.
Und Jesus antwortete ihm, und sprach: Es steht geschrieben: Nicht vom Brot allein lebt der Mensch, sondern von jedem Worte Gottes.
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Und der Teufel führte ihn auf einen hohen Berg, und zeigte ihm alle Königreiche des Erdkreises in einem Augenblick.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
Und der Teufel sprach zu ihm: Dir will ich geben alle diese Macht und ihre Herrlichkeit, denn mir ist sie übergeben, und ich gebe sie, wem ich will;
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
Du nun, wenn du anbetest vor mir, so wird sie ganz dein sein.
8 And Yahushua answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YHWH thy Elohim, and him only shalt thou serve.
Und Jesus antwortete ihm, und sprach: Es steht geschrieben: Du sollst anbeten den Herrn; deinen Gott, und ihm allein sollst du dienen.
9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of Elohim, cast thyself down from hence:
Und er führte ihn nach Jerusalem, und stellte ihn auf die Zinne des Tempels, und sprach zu ihm: Wenn du Gottes Sohn bist, so wirf dich selbst von hier hinunter!
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
Denn es stehet geschrieben: "Seinen Engeln wird er befehlen deinetwegen, daß sie dich behüten,
11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Und auf den Händen werden sie dich tragen, damit du nicht deinen Fuß an einen Stein stoßest."
12 And Yahushua answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt YHWH thy Elohim.
Und Jesus antwortete, und sprach zu ihm: Es ist gesagt: Du sollst den Herrn, deinen Gott, nicht versuchen.
13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
Und da der Teufel alle Versuchung vollendet hatte, wich er von ihm bis zu einer gelegenen Zeit.
14 And Yahushua returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
Und Jesus kehrte zurück, in der Kraft des Geistes, nach Galiläa, und das Gerücht von ihm erscholl in der ganzen Umgegend.
15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.
Und er lehrte in ihren Synagogen, und ward von allen gepriesen.
16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
Und kam nach Nazareth, wo er erzogen war, und ging hinein, nach seiner Gewohnheit, am Sabbattage in die Synagoge, und stund auf, zu lesen.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
Und es ward ihm das Buch des Propheten Jesaias gereicht. Und er rollte das Buch auf, und fand den Ort, wo geschrieben war:
18 The Spirit of YHWH is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
"Der Geist des Herrn ist auf mir; deswegen salbte er mich, frohe Botschaft zu bringen den Armen. Er hat mich gesandt,
19 To preach the acceptable year of YHWH.
Zu verkündigen den Gefangenen Freiheit, und den Blinden das Gesicht, zu senden die Verwundeten in Freiheit, zu verkündigen ein angenehmes Jahr des Herrn",
20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
Und er rollte das Buch zu, und übergab es dem Diener, und setzte sich; und die Augen aller, die in der Synagoge waren, richteten sich auf ihm.
21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
Er aber fing an zu ihnen zu sagen: Heute ist diese Schrift erfüllt vor euern Ohren,
22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
Und alle gaben ihm Zeugnis, und verwunderten sich über die holdseligen Worte, die aus seinem Munde gingen, und sprachen: Ist dieser nicht Josephs Sohn?
23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Allerdings werdet ihr mir sagen dies Gleichnis: Arzt, heile dich selbst! Was wir gehört haben, daß in Kapernaum geschehen ist, das tue auch hier, in deiner Vaterstadt.
24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
Er sprach aber: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Kein Prophet ist angenehm in seiner Vaterstadt.
25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of EliYah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
In Wahrheit aber sage ich euch: Viele Witwen waren, in den Tagen Elias, in Israel, als der Himmel verschlossen war auf drei Jahre und sechs Monate, daß eine große Teuerung ward im ganzen Land,
26 But unto none of them was EliYah sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
Aber zu keiner von ihnen ward Elias gesandt, denn allein nach Sarepta in Sidon, zu einer Witwe.
27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.
Und viele Aussätzige waren in Israel zur Zeit des Propheten Elisa, und keiner von ihnen ward gereinigt, außer Naeman, der Syrer.
28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
Und es wurden alle voll Zorn, die in der Synagoge waren, da sie das hörten.
29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
Und stunden auf, und stießen ihn zur Stadt hinaus, und führten ihn bis zum Rande des Berges, auf welchem ihre Stadt erbaut war, daß sie ihn hinabstürzten.
30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
Er aber ging mitten durch sie hin, und zog weiter.
31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the Sabbath days.
Und er kam hinab nach Kapernaum, eine Stadt Galiläas, und lehrte sie am Sabbat.
32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
Und sie waren erstaunt ob seiner Lehre, denn sein Wort war gewaltig.
33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
Und in der Synagoge war ein Mensch, der hatte einen Geist eines unsaubern Dämonen, und schrie auf mit lauter Stimme,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Yahushua of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of YHWH.
Und sprach: Ha! was haben wir mit dir zu tun, Jesus, Nazarener? Bist du gekommen, uns zu verderben? Ich weiß, wer du bist, der Heilige Gottes.
35 And Yahushua rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
Und Jesus bedrohte ihn, und sprach: Verstumme, und fahre aus von ihm! Und der Dämon warf ihn in die Mitte, und fuhr aus von ihm, und tat ihm keinen Schaden.
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
Und es kam ein Entsetzen über alle, und sie besprachen sich unter einander, und sagten: Was ist das für ein Wort, denn mit Gewalt und Kraft gebietet er den unsaubern Geistern, und sie fahren aus!
37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.
Und es ging aus der Widerhall von ihm in jeden Ort der Umgegend.
38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
Als er aber aufstund von der Synagoge, ging er in das Haus Simons. Und Simons Schwiegermutter war mit einem starken Fieber behaftet, und sie baten ihn für sie.
39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.
Und er trat oben an sie hin, und bedrohte das Fieber, und es verließ sie, und sogleich stund sie auf, und diente ihnen.
40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
Und da die Sonne untergegangen war, alle die so Kranke hatten, mit mancherlei Seuchen, brachten sie zu ihm; er aber legte einem jeden von ihnen die Hände auf, und heilte sie.
41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art the Messiah the Son of Elohim. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was the Messiah.
Es fuhren aber auch Dämonen aus von vielen, die schrieen und sprachen: Du bist der Sohn Gottes. Und er bedrohte sie, und ließ sie nicht reden, denn sie wußten, daß er der Messias war.
42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.
Da es aber Tag war, ging er hinaus, und begab sich an einen wüsten Ort. Und die Volkshaufen suchten ihn, und kamen zu ihm, und hielten ihn auf, daß er nicht von ihnen zöge.
43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of YHWH to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich muß auch den andern Städten die frohe Botschaft von der Gottesherrschaft verkündigen, denn dazu bin ich gesandt.
44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
Und er predigte in den Synagogen Galiläas.
