< Isaiah 64 >
1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
“O, no koma ta ginudwam ti langit ket bimmabaka! Nagkintayeg koma dagiti bantay iti presensiam,
2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
a kas iti mapasamak no pasgedan ti apuy ti nagango a kayo, wenno pagbureken ti apuy ti danum. Tapno maammoan dagiti kabusormo ti naganmo, ken agpigerger dagiti nasion iti presensiam!
3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
Iti napalabas, idi nagaramidka kadagiti nakaskasdaaw a saanmi a ninamnama, bimmabaka, ket nagpigerger dagiti bantay iti presensiam.
4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O Elohim, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
Sipud pay idi un-una a tiempo, awan ti nakangngeg wenno nakaammo, kasta met nga awan ti mata a nakakita iti aniaman a Dios no di laeng sika, nga agar-aramid kadagiti banbanag a maipaay kenkuana nga agtaltalek kenka.
5 Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
Umaymo tultulungan dagiti agragrag-o iti panagar-aramidda iti umno, dagiti manglaglagip kadagiti wagasmo ken agtultulnog kadagitoy. Nakaungetka idi nagbasolkami. Kadagiti wagasmo, kanayon a mais-ispalkami.
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
Ta nagbalinkami amin a kasla iti narugit, ken dagiti amin a nalinteg nga aramidmi ket kasla iti pasador. Aminkami ket nalaylay a kasla bulbulong; dagiti nagbasolanmi ket kasla iti angin a mangitayab kadakami.
7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
Awan iti umaw-awag iti naganmo, a mangikagumaan a kumpet kenka; ta inlemmengmo ti rupam kadakami ken inyawatnakami kadagiti basbasolmi.
8 But now, O YHWH, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Nupay kasta, O Yahweh, sika ti amami; dakami ti pitak. Sika ti agdamdamili kadakami; dakami amin ket aramid ti imam.
9 Be not wroth very sore, O YHWH, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
Saanka kadi unay a makaunget, O Yahweh, saanmo kadi a lagipen a kanayon dagiti basbasolmi. Pangngaasim ta kitaennakami amin, a tattaom.
10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
Nagbalin a let-ang dagiti nasantoan a siudadmo; nagbalin a let-ang ti Sion, nagbalin a langalang ti Jerusalem.
11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
Ti nasantoan ken napintas a templomi, a nagdaydayawan kenka dagiti ammami, ket dinadael ti apuy, ken amin a napateg kadakami ket nadadael.
12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O YHWH? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
Kasano a mabaelam pay laeng ti agkedked, O Yahweh? Kasano a mabaelam ti agtalinaed a siuulimek ken itultuloynakami nga ibabain?”
