Isaiah 64
1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,
望你衝破諸天降下，諸山在你面前震盪。
2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!
有如火怎樣燒乾了水，火也怎樣燒毀你的敵人，好使你的敵人認識你的名，使萬民在你面前戰慄，
3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.
因為你行了誰也想不到的驚人事蹟；【你下降，使山嶺在你面前震盪。】
4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O Elohim, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
是人從未聽過的，耳朵從未聽過，眼睛從未見過你以外，有一個神對依靠自己的人如此行事的。
5 Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
你是歡迎那些履行正義和紀念你道路的人；但是，看，你發了怒，我們仍犯罪如初，仍照舊違叛你。
6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
我們都好像成了不潔的人，所行的正義好似染了經血的內衣，又似乾枯的葉子；我們的罪惡好似狂風一般將我們捲去，
7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
沒有一個呼求你名的，或奮起契合於你的，因為你掩面不顧我們，將我們委棄於我們罪惡的權下。
8 But now, O YHWH, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
如今，上主啊！你是我們的父親；我們只是泥土，你是的我們的陶工，我們都是你手中的作品。
9 Be not wroth very sore, O YHWH, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.
上主啊！不要嚴加忿怒，不要時常記念我們的罪惡；求你垂顧！我們都是你的子民。
10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
你的聖城都已成了荒地，熙雍已變為曠野，耶路撒冷成 了廢墟。
11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
我們那華美的聖殿，即我們祖先讚頌你的所在，已被火焚燒，我們所喜愛的器皿都成了垃圾。
12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O YHWH? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
上主，對這些事你還忍得住嗎﹖你還緘默，重重難為我們嗎﹖
