Isaiah 43
1 But now thus saith YHWH that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Asi zvino, zvanzi naJehovha, iye akasika iwe Jakobho, iye akakuumba iwe Israeri: “Usatya, nokuti ndakakudzikinura; ndakakudana nezita rako; uri wangu.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Paunopfuura nomumvura zhinji ini ndichava newe; uye paunopinda nomunzizi, hadzizokukukuri. Paunofamba nomumoto, haungazotsvi; murazvo haungazokupisi.
3 For I am YHWH thy Elohim, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Nokuti ndini Jehovha, Mwari wako, Mutsvene waIsraeri, Muponesi wako; ndinopa Ijipiti kuti ive rusununguko rwako, Etiopia neShebha pachinzvimbo chako.
4 Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.
Sezvo uchikosha uye uchikudzwa pamberi pangu, uye nokuti ndinokuda, ndichaisa vanhu panzvimbo yako, namarudzi avanhu pachinzvimbo choupenyu hwako.
5 Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
Usatya, nokuti ndinewe; ndichauyisa vana vako kubva kumabvazuva, ndichakuunganidzai kubva kumavirira.
6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;
Ndichati kurutivi rwokumusoro, ‘Varegedze!’ uye kurutivi rwezasi, ‘Usavadzivisa.’ Uyisai vanakomana vangu kubva kure, uye navanasikana vangu vabva kumigumo yenyika,
7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
vose vanodanwa nezita rangu, vandakasikira kukudzwa kwangu vandakaumba uye ndikaita.”
8 Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
Uyai neavo vane meso asi vari mapofu, vane nzeve asi vari matsi.
9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth.
Ndudzi dzose ngadziungane pamwe chete, uye marudzi ngaaungane. Ndianiko pakati pavo akati izvi zvichaitika, akatiparidzira zvinhu zvakare? Ngavauye nezvapupu zvavo kuti zvionekwe kuti havana mhosva, kuitira kuti vamwe vanzwe vagoti, “Ichokwadi.”
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith YHWH, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no El formed, neither shall there be after me.
“Imi muri zvapupu zvangu,” ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha, “uye nomuranda wangu wandakasarudza, kuti mugoziva uye mugonditenda uye mugonzwisisa kuti ndini iye. Hakuna kumbova nomumwe mwari akaumbwa ndisati ndavapo, uye hakuchazova nomumwe shure kwangu.
11 I, even I, am YHWH; and beside me there is no saviour.
Ini, iyeni, ndini Jehovha, uye kunze kwangu hakuna muponesi.
12 I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no stranger among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith YHWH, that I am El.
Ini ndakaratidza ndikaponesa, ndikaparidza, ini, kwete vamwe vamwari vedzimwe ndudzi vari pakati penyu. Imi muri zvapupu zvangu,” ndizvo zvinotaura Jehovha, kuti, “ndini Mwari.
13 Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?
Hongu, kubva pamazuva akare ndini iye. Hakuna angarwira munhu muruoko rwangu. Pandinoita chinhu, ndianiko angachikonesa?”
14 Thus saith YHWH, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
Zvanzi naJehovha, Mudzikunuri wenyu, Mutsvene waIsraeri: “Ndichatuma vanhu kuBhabhironi nokuda kwenyu, uye ndichaburitsa vaBhabhironi vose vachitiza, muzvikepe zvavaidada nazvo.
15 I am YHWH, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.
Ndini Jehovha, Mutsvene Wenyu, Musiki waIsraeri, Mambo wenyu.”
16 Thus saith YHWH, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
Zvanzi naJehovha, iye akaita nzira pakati pegungwa, nenzira mukati memvura zhinji,
17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
iye akabudisa ngoro namabhiza, hondo pamwe chete nezvinosimbisa, vakavata ipapo, havana kuzombomukazve, vadzimwa, vadzimwa somwenje:
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
“Chikanganwai zvinhu zvakare; musaramba muri pane zvakapfuura.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Tarirai, ndava kuita chinhu chitsva! Zvino chava kumera; hamuchioni here? Ndiri kuita nzira mugwenga nehova musango.
20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
Zvikara zvesango zvinondikudza, makava namazizi, nokuti ndinozvipa mvura mugwenga nehova musango, kuti ndipe vanhu vangu chokunwa, vasanangurwa vangu,
21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.
vanhu vandakazviumbira, kuti vaparidze kurumbidzwa kwangu.
22 But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.
“Kunyange zvakadaro hauna kudana kwandiri, iwe Jakobho; hauna kuzvinetesa nokuda kwangu, iwe Israeri.
23 Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.
Hauna kundivigira makwai ezvipiriso zvinopiswa, kana kundikudza nezvibayiro zvako. Handina kukuremedza nezvipiriso zvezviyo, kana kukunetesa nokuda zvinonhuhwira.
24 Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
Hauna kundivigira kana zvinotapira, kana kundigutsa namafuta ezvibayiro zvako. Asi wakandiremedza nezvivi zvako uye ukandinetesa nokudarika kwako.
25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
“Ini, iyeni, ndini ndinodzima kudarika kwako, nokuda kwangu, handizorangaririzve zvakaipa zvako.
26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.
Ndiyeuchidze zvakapfuura, ngatitaurirane nyaya iyi pamwe chete; zvipupurire kuti hauna mhosva.
27 Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.
Tateguru wako akatadza; vamiririri vako vakandimukira.
28 Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
Naizvozvo ndichanyadzisa vanokudzwa vomutemberi yako, uye ndichaita kuti Jakobho aparadzwe uye Israeri asekwe.
