Hebrews 6
1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of the Messiah, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward YHWH,
Darum wollen wir das Anfangswort vom Christus dahinten lassen, und uns zur Vollkommenheit erheben, nicht abermals das Fundament legen mit Buße von toten Werken, und Glauben an Gott,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
Taufenlehre und Handauflegung, Totenauferstehung und ewiger Verdammnis. (aiōnios g166)
3 And this will we do, if YHWH permit.
Auch dies wollen wir thun, so Gott es gewährt.
4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,
Denn es ist unmöglich, diejenigen, welche einmal erleuchtet wurden und von der himmlischen Gabe gekostet haben und des heiligen Geistes teilhaftig wurden,
und das gute Gotteswort und Kräfte der zukünftigen Welt gekostet haben, (aiōn g165)
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of YHWH afresh, and put him to an open shame.
und sind dann abgefallen, wiederum zu erneuern zur Buße, da sie doch sich den Sohn Gottes wieder kreuzigen und zum Gespött machen.
7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from Elohim:
Denn das Land, das den reichlich strömenden Regen eingesogen, und denen für die es bebaut wird wohlbestelltes Gewächs bringt, genießt den Segen von Gott.
8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.
Bringt es aber Dornen und Disteln, so wird es verworfen, geht dem Fluche entgegen, dessen Ende ist das Verbrennen.
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
Wir sind aber, Geliebte, von euch des Besseren, dessen, was zum Heile gehört, gewiß, wenn wir auch so reden.
10 For YHWH is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
Denn Gott ist nicht ungerecht, daß er eures Thuns vergäße und der Liebe, die ihr seinem Namen erzeugt habet, da ihr den Heiligen Dienste erwieset und noch erweiset.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Wir wünschten jedoch, daß jeder von euch den gleichen Eifer bewährte für den Vollbeweis der Hoffnung bis zum Ende,
12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
damit ihr nicht stumpf werdet, sondern in der Nachfolge derer wandelt, die durch Glauben und Geduld die Verheißungen erben.
13 For when YHWH made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Denn Gott hat dem Abraham Verheißung gegeben und beschworen bei sich selbst, da er keinen Höheren hatte bei ihm zu schwören
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
mit den Worten: Fürwahr, mit Segen will ich dich segnen, und reichlich will ich dich mehren.
15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
Und da er darauf in Geduld harrte, ist er zur Verheißung gelangt.
16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.
Schwören ja Menschen bei dem höheren, und der Eid dient zur Bekräftigung über alle Widerrede hinaus.
17 Wherein YHWH, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
So hat Gott, um den Erben der Verheißung noch mehr die Unbeugsamkeit seines Willens zu beweisen, einen Eid zum Mittel gemacht,
18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for YHWH to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
damit wir durch zwei unwandelbare Dinge, in welchen Gott unmöglich trügen konnte, einen starken Sporn hätten; die wir unsere Zuflucht dazu nahmen, die Hoffnung vor uns zu ergreifen,
19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
in der wir einen sicheren, festen Anker der Seele haben, der hineinreicht in das Innere des Vorhangs,
