Ezekiel 11
1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of YHWH 's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the princes of the people.
時に霊はわたしをあげて、東に向かう主の宮の東の門に連れて行った。見よ、その門の入口に二十五人の者がいた。わたしはその中にアズルの子ヤザニヤと、ベナヤの子ペラテヤを見た。共に民のつかさであった。
2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
すると彼はわたしに言われた、「人の子よ、これらの者はこの町の中で悪い事を考え、悪い計りごとをめぐらす人々である。
3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.
彼らは言う、『家を建てる時は近くはない。この町はなべであり、われわれは肉である』と。
4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
それゆえ、彼らに向かって預言せよ。人の子よ、預言せよ」。
5 And the Spirit of YHWH fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith YHWH; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
時に、主の霊がわたしに下って、わたしに言われた、「主はこう言われると言え、イスラエルの家よ、考えてみよ。わたしはあなたがたの心にある事どもを知っている。
6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
あなたがたはこの町に殺される者を増し、殺された者をもってちまたを満たした。
7 Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、町の中にあなたがたが置く殺された者は肉である。この町はなべである。しかし、あなたがたはその中から取り出される。
8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Master YHWH.
あなたがたはつるぎを恐れた。わたしはあなたがたにつるぎを臨ませると、主は言われる。
9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
またわたしはあなたがたをその中から引き出して、他国人の手に渡し、あなたがたをさばく。
10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am YHWH.
あなたがたはつるぎに倒れる。わたしはあなたがたをイスラエルの境でさばく。これによってあなたがたはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。
11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:
この町はあなたがたに対してなべとはならず、あなたがたはその肉とはならない。わたしはイスラエルの境であなたがたをさばく。
12 And ye shall know that I am YHWH: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
これによって、あなたがたはわたしが主であることを知るようになる。あなたがたはわたしの定めに歩まず、またわたしのおきてを行わず、かえってその周囲の他国人のおきてに従って行っているからである」。
13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah, Sovereign YHWH! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
このようにわたしが預言していた時、ベナヤの子ペラテヤが死んだので、わたしは打ち伏して、大声で叫んで言った、「ああ主なる神よ、あなたはイスラエルの残りの者をことごとく滅ぼそうとされるのですか」。
14 Again the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
時に主の言葉がわたしに臨んで言った、
15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from YHWH: unto us is this land given in possession.
「人の子よ、あなたの兄弟、あなたの友、あなたの兄弟である捕われ人、イスラエルの全家、エルサレムの住民は言った、『彼らが主から遠く離れた。この地はわれわれの所有として与えられているのだ』と。
16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
それゆえ、言え、『主なる神はこう言われる、たといわたしは彼らを遠く他国人の中に移し、国々の中に散らしても、彼らの行った国々で、わたしはしばらく彼らのために聖所となる』と。
17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
それゆえ、言え、『主はこう言われる、わたしはあなたがたをもろもろの民の中から集め、その散らされた国々から集めて、イスラエルの地をあなたがたに与える』と。
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
彼らはその所に来る時、そのもろもろのいとうべきものと、もろもろの憎むべきものとをその所から取り除く。
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
そしてわたしは彼らに一つの心を与え、彼らのうちに新しい霊を授け、彼らの肉から石の心を取り去って、肉の心を与える。
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim.
これは彼らがわたしの定めに歩み、わたしのおきてを守って行い、そして彼らがわたしの民となり、わたしが彼らの神となるためである。
21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Master YHWH.
しかしいとうべきもの、憎むべきものをその心に慕って歩む者には、彼らの行いに従ってそのこうべに報いると、主なる神は言われる」。
22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the Elohim of Israel was over them above.
時にケルビムはその翼をあげた。輪がそのかたわらにあり、イスラエルの神の栄光がその上にあった。
23 And the glory of YHWH went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
主の栄光が町の中からのぼって、町の東にある山の上に立ちどまった。
24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of Elohim into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
その時、霊はわたしをあげ、神の霊によって、幻のうちにわたしをカルデヤの捕われ人の所へ携えて行った。そしてわたしが見た幻はわたしを離れてのぼった。
25 Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that YHWH had shewed me.
そこでわたしは主がわたしに示された事をことごとくかの捕われ人に告げた。
