Deuteronomy 16
1 Observe the month of the aviv, and keep the passover unto YHWH thy Elohim: for in the month of the aviv YHWH thy Elohim brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.
“Aviv ayını tutun ve Tanrınız RAB'bin Fısıh Bayramı'nı kutlayın. Tanrınız RAB Aviv ayında geceleyin sizi Mısır'dan çıkardı.
2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto YHWH thy Elohim, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YHWH shall choose to place his name there.
Tanrınız RAB'bin adını yerleştirmek için seçeceği yerde davarlardan, sığırlardan Fısıh kurbanlarını keseceksiniz.
3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
Kurban etiyle birlikte mayalı ekmek yemeyeceksiniz. Yedi gün mayasız ekmek –sıkıntıda yenilen ekmek– yiyeceksiniz. Siz Mısır'dan aceleyle çıktınız. Öyle ki, yaşadığınız sürece Mısır'dan çıktığınız günü anımsayasınız.
4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
Yedi gün ülkenizin hiçbir yerinde maya bulunmasın. Akşam kurban edeceğiniz hayvanların etinden ilk günün sabahına bir şey bırakmayacaksınız.
5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee:
“Fısıh kurbanlarını Tanrınız RAB'bin size vereceği kentlerden birinde kesmeyeceksiniz;
6 But at the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
ancak Tanrınız RAB'bin adını yerleştirmek için seçeceği yerde keseceksiniz. Kurbanı orada akşam gün batınca, Mısır'dan çıktığınız saatlerde keseceksiniz.
7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.
Eti Tanrınız RAB'bin seçeceği yerde pişirip yiyeceksiniz. Sabah dönüp çadırlarınıza gideceksiniz.
8 Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to YHWH thy Elohim: thou shalt do no work therein.
Altı gün mayasız ekmek yiyeceksiniz. Yedinci gün Tanrınız RAB için bir toplantı düzenleyecek ve iş yapmayacaksınız.”
9 Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.
“Ekin biçme zamanından başlayarak yedi hafta sayacaksınız.
10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto YHWH thy Elohim with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto YHWH thy Elohim, according as YHWH thy Elohim hath blessed thee:
Sonra Tanrınız RAB'bin sizi kutsadığı oranda vereceğiniz gönülden sunularla O'nun için Haftalar Bayramı'nı kutlayacaksınız.
11 And thou shalt rejoice before YHWH thy Elohim, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which YHWH thy Elohim hath chosen to place his name there.
Tanrınız RAB'bin adını yerleştirmek için seçeceği yerde, O'nun önünde, siz, oğullarınız, kızlarınız, erkek ve kadın köleleriniz, kentlerinizde yaşayan Levililer, aranızdaki yabancılar, öksüzler, dullar hep birlikte sevineceksiniz.
12 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
Mısır'da köle olduğunuzu anımsayın ve bu kurallara uymaya dikkat edin.”
13 Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:
“Tahılınızı ve asmanızın ürününü topladıktan sonra yedi gün Çardak Bayramı'nı kutlayacaksınız.
14 And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
Siz, oğullarınız, kızlarınız, erkek ve kadın köleleriniz, kentlerinizde yaşayan Levililer, yabancılar, öksüzler, dullar bu bayramda hep birlikte sevineceksiniz.
15 Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto YHWH thy Elohim in the place which YHWH shall choose: because YHWH thy Elohim shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.
Tanrınız RAB'bin seçeceği yerde O'nun için yedi gün bayramı kutlayacaksınız. Tanrınız RAB ürününüzün tümünü ve el attığınız her işi kutsayacak. Böylece sevinciniz tam olacak.
16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before YHWH thy Elohim in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before YHWH empty:
“Bütün erkekleriniz yılda üç kez –Mayasız Ekmek Bayramı'nda, Haftalar Bayramı'nda ve Çardak Bayramı'nda– Tanrınız RAB'bin önünde bulunmak üzere O'nun seçeceği yere gitmeli. Kimse RAB'bin önüne eli boş gitmemeli.
17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YHWH thy Elohim which he hath given thee.
Her biriniz Tanrınız RAB'bin sizi kutsadığı oranda armağanlar götürmeli.”
18 Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
“Tanrınız RAB'bin size vereceği kentlerde her oymağınız için yargıçlar, yöneticiler atayacaksınız. Onlar halkı gerçek adaletle yargılayacaklar.
19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
Yargılarken haksızlık yapmayacak, kimseyi kayırmayacaksınız. Rüşvet almayacaksınız. Çünkü rüşvet bilge kişinin gözlerini kör eder, haklıyı haksız çıkarır.
20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee.
Yaşamak ve Tanrınız RAB'bin size vereceği ülkeyi miras almak için doğruluğun, yalnız doğruluğun ardınca gidin.
21 Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of YHWH thy Elohim, which thou shalt make thee.
“Tanrınız RAB için yapacağınız sunağın yanına ağaçtan bir Aşera putu dikmeyeceksiniz.
22 Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which YHWH thy Elohim hateth.
Tanrınız RAB'bin nefret ettiği dikili taş dikmeyeceksiniz.
