Amos 4
1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
バシヤンの牝牛等よ汝ら此言を聽け 汝らはサマリヤの山に居り弱者を虐げ貧者を壓し又その主にむかひて此に持きたりて我らに飮せよと言ふ
2 The Sovereign YHWH hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.
主ヱホバ己の聖を指し誓ひて云ふ 視よ日汝らの上に臨む その日には人汝らを鈎にかけ汝等の遺餘者を釣魚鈎にかけて曳いださん
3 And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith YHWH.
汝らは各々その前なる石垣の破壞たる處より奔出てハルモンに逃往ん ヱホバこれを言ふ
4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
汝らベテルに往て罪を犯しギルガルに往て益々おほく罪を犯せ 朝ごとに汝らの犠牲を携へゆけ 三日ごとに汝らの什一を携へゆけ
5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Sovereign YHWH.
酵いれたる者を感謝祭に獻げ願意よりする禮物を召てこれを告示せ イスラエルの子孫よ 汝らは斯するを好むなりと主ヱホバ言たまふ
6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith YHWH.
また我汝らの一切の邑に於て汝らの齒を清からしめ汝らの一切の處において汝らの食を乏しからしめたり 然るに汝らは我に歸らずとヱホバ言給ふ
7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
また我収穫までには尚 三月あるに雨をとどめて汝らに下さず かの邑には雨を降しこの邑には雨をふらさざりき 此田圃は雨を得 彼田圃は雨を得ずして枯れたり
8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith YHWH.
二三の邑別の一の邑に躚めきゆきて水を飮ども飽ことあたはず 然るに汝らは我に歸らずとヱホバ言たまふ
9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith YHWH.
我枯死殻と朽腐穗とをもて汝等を撃なやませり また汝らの衆多の園と葡萄園と無花果樹と橄欖樹とは蝗これを食へり 然るに汝らは我に歸らずとヱホバ言たまふ
10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith YHWH.
我なんぢらの中にエジプトに爲し如く疫病をおこし劍をもて汝らの少き人を殺し又汝らの馬を奪さり汝らの營の臭氣をして騰りて汝らの鼻を撲しめたり 然るも汝らは我に歸らずとヱホバいひたまふ
11 I have overthrown some of you, as Elohimoverthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith YHWH.
我なんぢらの中の邑を滅すことソドム、ゴモラを神の滅したまひし如くしたれば汝らは熖の中より取いだしたる燃柴のごとくなれり 然るも汝らは我に歸らずとヱホバ言たまふ
12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy Elohim, O Israel.
イスラエルよ然ば我かく汝に行はん 我是を汝に行ふべければイスラエルよ汝の神に會ふ準備をせよ
13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, YHWH, The Elohim of hosts, is his name.
彼は即ち山を作りなし風を作り出し人の思想の如何なるをその人に示しまた晨光をかへて黒暗となし地の高處を踏む者なり その名を萬軍の神ヱホバといふ
