2 Timothy 4
1 I charge thee therefore before YHWH, and the Master Yahushua the Messiah, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Ich bezeuge vor Gott und Christus Jesus, der da richten wird Lebende und Tote, sowohl seine Erscheinung als auch sein Reich:
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
verkünde du das Wort, stehe dazu, willkommen oder nicht, überführe, ermahne, drohe, mit allem Aufwand von Geduld und Lehre.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
Denn es wird die Zeit kommen, wo man die gesunde Lehre nicht erträgt, sondern nach eigenen Lüsten sich Lehrer herzieht wie das Ohr juckt,
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
und von der Wahrheit das Ohr abwendet aber den Fabeln zufällt.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Du aber bleibe nüchtern in allem, sei willig zu leiden, thue das Werk eines Evangelisten, vollführe deinen Dienst.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
Denn ich bin schon daran, zum Opfer zu werden, und die Zeit meines Hinganges ist da.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Ich habe den guten Kampf gekämpft, ich habe den Lauf vollendet, den Glauben gehalten.
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which Yahushua, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Nun liegt vor mir der Kranz der Gerechtigkeit, den mir der Herr verleihen wird an jenem Tage, der gerechte Richter; nicht allein aber mir, sondern ebenso allen, die seine Erscheinung lieb gehabt.
9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
Eile dich, bald zu mir zu kommen.
10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
Denn Demas hat mich verlassen aus Liebe zu dieser Welt, und ist nach Thessalonike gegangen, Crescens nach Galatia, Titus nach Dalmatia; (aiōn g165)
11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
Lukas allein ist bei mir; bringe mir den Marcus mit, ich kann ihn wohl brauchen zum Dienste;
12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
den Tychikus aber habe ich nach Ephesus geschickt.
13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
Den Mantel, den ich in Troas bei Karpus gelassen, bringe mir mit, auch die Bücher, namentlich die Pergamente.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: YHWH reward him according to his works:
Alexander der Schmied hat mir viel Böses erwiesen; der Herr wird ihm vergelten nach seinen Werken;
15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.
Nimm auch du dich vor ihm in acht; er hat gar sehr unseren Reden widerstrebt.
16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray that it may not be laid to their charge.
Bei meiner ersten Verteidigung ist mir niemand beigestanden, sondern alle haben mich verlassen; möge es ihnen nicht angerechnet werden;
17 Notwithstanding YHWH stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
der Herr aber stand mir zur Seite und stärkte mich, auf daß durch mich die Predigt beglaubigt würde, und alle Heiden es hörten; und ich ward aus dem Rachen des Löwen befreit.
18 And YHWH shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
Der Herr aber wird mich befreien aus allem Thun der Bosheit und erretten in sein himmlisches Reich; ihm sei Preis in alle Ewigkeit. Amen. (aiōn g165)

Grüße Prisca und Aquila und das Haus des Onesiphorus.
20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.
Erastus ist in Korinth geblieben, den Trophimus habe ich in Milet krank zurückgelassen.
21 Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
Eile zu kommen vor dem Winter. Es grüßt dich Eubulus und Pudens und Linus und Claudia und die sämtlichen Brüder.
22 The Master Yahushua the Messiah be with thy spirit. Favour be with you.
Der Herr mit deinem Geiste. Die Gnade mit euch.
