2 Thessalonians 2
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahushua the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him,
兄弟よ、我らの主イエス・キリストの來り給ふこと、又われらが主の許に集ふことに就きては、汝らに求む。
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of the Messiah is at hand.
或は靈により、或は言により、或は我等より出でし如き書により、主の日すでに來れりとて、容易く心を動かしかつ驚かざらん事を。
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
誰が如何にすとも、それに欺かるな。その日の前に背教の事あり、不法の人すなはち滅亡の子あらはれざるを得ず、
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as elohim sitteth in the temple of elohim, shewing himself that he is elohim.
彼はすべて神と稱ふる者および人の拜む者に逆ひ、此 等よりも己を高くし、遂に神の聖所に坐し己を神として見する者なり。
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
われ汝らと偕に在りし時、これらの事を告げしを汝ら憶えぬか。
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
彼をして己が時に至りて顯れしめんために、彼を阻めをる者を汝らは知る。
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
不法の秘密は既に働けり、然れど此はただ阻めをる者の除かるるまでなり。
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom Yahushua shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
かくて其のとき不法の者あらはれん、而して主イエス御口の氣息をもて彼を殺し、降臨の輝耀をもて彼を亡し給はん。
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
彼はサタンの活動に從ひて來り、もろもろの虚僞なる力と徴と不思議と、
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
不義のもろもろの誑惑とを行ひて、亡ぶる者どもに向はん、彼らは眞理を愛する愛を受けずして、救はるることを爲ざればなり。
11 And for this cause YHWH shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
この故に神は、彼らが虚僞を信ぜんために惑をその中に働かせ給ふ。
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
これ眞理を信ぜず不義を喜ぶ者の、みな審かれん爲なり。
13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to YHWH for you, brethren beloved of the Master, because YHWH hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
されど主に愛せらるる兄弟よ、われら常に汝 等のために神に感謝せざるを得ず。神は御靈によれる潔と眞理に對する信仰とをもて、始より汝らを救に選び、
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Master Yahushua the Messiah.
また我らの主イエス・キリストの榮光を得させんとて、我らの福音をもて汝らを招き給へばなり。
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
されば兄弟よ、堅く立ちて我らの言あるひは書に由りて教へられたる傳を守れ。
16 Now our Master Yahushua the Messiah himself, and YHWH, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through favour, (aiōnios g166)
我らの主イエス・キリスト、及び我らを愛し恩惠をもて永遠の慰安と善き望とを與へ給ふ我らの父なる神、 (aiōnios g166)
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
願はくは汝らの心を慰めて、凡ての善き業と言とに堅うし給はんことを。
