2 Samuel 22
1 And David spake unto YHWH the words of this song in the day that YHWH had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಗೂ ಸೌಲನ ಕೈಗೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಘನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಜಯ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದನು:
2 And he said, YHWH is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
3 The Elohim of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
೩ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಿರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೊಂಬೂ, ನನ್ನ ದುರ್ಗವೂ, ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನೂ, ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
4 I will call on YHWH, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಹನು. ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of wicked men made me afraid;
೫ಮರಣ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಅಲ್ಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡವು. ನಾಶಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿತು.
೬ಪಾತಾಳಪಾಶಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವು, ಮರಣಕರವಾದ ಉರುಲುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡವು. (Sheol h7585)
7 In my distress I called upon YHWH, and cried to my Elohim: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
೭ಅಂಥ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಆತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
೮ಆಗ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು. ಆಕಾಶದ ಆಧಾರಗಳು ನಡುಗಿ ಕದಲಿದವು.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
೯ಆತನ ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಗೆಯು ಬಂದಿತು. ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಹೊರಟು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿ ಕೆಂಡವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿತು.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
೧೦ಆತನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದನು. ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಿತ್ತು.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
೧೧ಕೆರೂಬಿವಾಹನನಾಗಿ ಹಾರಿದನು. ವಾಯುವೇ ಆತನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಇಳಿದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
೧೨ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನೂ, ಜಲಮಯವಾಗಿರುವ ನೀಲಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗುಡಾರದಂತೆ ಕವಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
೧೩ಆತನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಉರಿಗೆಂಡಗಳು ಹೊರಟವು.
14 YHWH thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
೧೪ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಗುಡುಗಿದನು. ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಧ್ವನಿಗೊಟ್ಟನು.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
೧೫ಆತನು ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೆಸೆದು ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಸಿಡಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of YHWH, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
೧೬ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆತನ ಶ್ವಾಸಭರದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತಳವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಅಸ್ಥಿವಾರವು ತೋರಿಬಂದವು.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
೧೭ಆತನು ಮೇಲಣಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು! ಮಹಾಜಲರಾಶಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಳೆದನು.
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
೧೮ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ, ಪುಷ್ಠರೂ ಆಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but YHWH was my stay.
೧೯ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಪತ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರಕನಾದನು.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
೨೦ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.
21 YHWH rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
೨೧ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಡತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ನೀಡಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
22 For I have kept the ways of YHWH, and have not wickedly departed from my Elohim.
೨೨ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದೆನಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
23 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
೨೩ನಾನು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಆತನ ವಿಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
೨೪ನಾನು ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯು. ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
25 Therefore YHWH hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
೨೫ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೂ, ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ನಿರಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
೨೬ನೀನು ಕೃಪೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ಕೃಪಾವಂತನೂ, ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯೂ.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
೨೭ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ, ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯವನಿಗೆ ವಕ್ರನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಿ.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
೨೮ದೀನರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಿ. ಹಮ್ಮಿನವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿ.
29 For thou art my lamp, O YHWH: and YHWH will lighten my darkness.
೨೯ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೀಪವು ನೀನೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವನು.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my Elohim have I leaped over a wall.
೩೦ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನಾನು ದಂಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರುವೆನು.
31 As for El, his way is perfect; the word of YHWH is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
೩೧ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಯಾವ ದೋಷವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಚನವು ಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು. ಆತನು ಆಶ್ರಿತರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
32 For who is El, save YHWH? and who is a rock, save our Elohim?
೩೨ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರು? ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಹೊರತು ಶರಣನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?
33 El is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
೩೩ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸರಾಗಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
೩೪ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲನ್ನು ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಕಾಲಿನಂತೆ ಚುರುಕು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
೩೫ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನಾದರೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆನು.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
೩೬ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದೀ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾಕಟಾಕ್ಷವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿದೆ.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
೩೭ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
೩೮ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
೩೯ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ನಾಮಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು, ಹೊಡೆದು ಏಳಲಾರದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವರು.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
೪೦ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶೌರ್ಯವೆಂಬ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿದಿದ್ದಿ. ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿ.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
೪೧ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗೊಟ್ಟು ಓಡಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ. ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
42 They looked, but there was none to save; even unto YHWH, but he answered them not.
೪೨ಅವರು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೂ ಆತನು ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
೪೩ಭೂಮಿಯ ಧೂಳನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಸರನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಎಸೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
೪೪ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಕಲಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಿ. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದಿ. ನಾನರಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗುವರು.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
೪೫ದೇಶಾಂತರದವರು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ನನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವರು.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
೪೬ಅವರು ಧೈರ್ಯಗುಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವರು.
47 YHWH liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the Elohim of the rock of my salvation.
೪೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚೈತನ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪನು. ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ. ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಿರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡಾಟ.
48 El who avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
೪೮ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಮಾಡುವ ದೇವರು. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
೪೯ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವಾತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿ. ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿ.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O YHWH, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
೫೦ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು.
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
೫೧ಆತನು ತಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಅರಸನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಿಶೇಷ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
