2 Kings 18
1 Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.
၁ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဧလာ သား ဟောရှေ နန်းစံသုံး နှစ် တွင်၊ “
2 Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Abi, the daughter of Zachariah.
၂ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာခတ် သား ဟေဇကိ သည် အသက် နှစ်ဆယ် ငါး နှစ်ရှိ သော် နန်း ထိုင်၍ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ နှစ်ဆယ် ကိုး နှစ် စိုးစံ လေ၏။ မယ်တော်ကား၊ ဇာခရိ သမီး အာဘိ အမည် ရှိ၏
3 And he did that which was right in the sight of YHWH, according to all that David his father did.
၃ထိုမင်းသည်အဘ ဒါဝိဒ် ကျင့် သမျှ အတိုင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ တရား သောအမှုကိုပြု ၏
4 He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
၄မြင့် သောအရပ်တို့ကိုပယ် ၏။ ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတုတို့ကိုချိုးဖဲ့ ၏။ အာရှရ ပင်တို့ကို ခုတ်လှဲ ၏။ မောရှေ လုပ် သော ကြေးဝါ မြွေ ကို အပိုင်းပိုင်း ဖြတ်၏။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ထို ကာလ တိုင်အောင် ၊ ထိုမြွေရှေ့မှာ နံ့သာပေါင်းကို မီးရှို့ တတ်ကြ၏။ ထို မြွေကို နဟုတ္တန် အမည်ဖြင့် မှည့် သတည်း
5 He trusted in YHWH Elohim of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him.
၅ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ထိုမင်းခိုလှုံ သကဲ့သို့ ၊ သူ့ နောက် မှာခိုလှုံသော ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် တယောက် မျှမရှိ။ ရှေ့” ကာလ၌လည်း မရှိ။
6 For he clave to YHWH, and departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which YHWH commanded Moses.
၆ထာဝရဘုရား ၌ ဆည်းကပ် ၍ နောက် တော်သို့ အစဉ်အမြဲ လိုက်သဖြင့် မောရှေ ၌ထာဝရဘုရား ထား တော်မူသော ပညတ် တော်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက် လေ၏
7 And YHWH was with him; and he prospered whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.
၇ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သူ နှင့်အတူ ရှိ တော်မူသဖြင့် သူသည် ပြု လေရာရာ ၌ အောင် လေ၏။ အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ကျွန် မ ခံ။ ပုန်ကန် လေ၏
8 He smote the Philistines, even unto Gaza, and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
၈ဖိလိတ္တိ လူတို့ကိုတိုက် ၍ ဂါဇ မြို့နယ်တိုင်အောင် ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ များနှင့် ကင်းစောင့် သောမျှော်စင် များကို လုပ်ကြံလေ၏
9 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
၉ဟေဇကိ မင်းကြီး နန်းစံလေး နှစ် ၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဧလာ သား ဟောရှေ နန်းစံခုနစ် နှစ် တွင် ၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှာလမနေဇာ သည် ရှမာရိ မြို့သို့ စစ်ချီ ၍ ဝိုင်း ထား၏
10 And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
၁၀သုံး နှစ် စေ့ သောအခါ ၊ ဟေဇကိ နန်းစံခြောက် နှစ် ၊ ဣသရေလ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟောရှေ နန်းစံကိုး နှစ် တွင် ရှမာရိ မြို့ကိုတိုက် ၍ရကြ၏
11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:
၁၁အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးကို အာရှုရိ ပြည်သို့ သိမ်းသွား ၍ ဂေါဇန် မြစ် နား၊ ဟာလ မြို့၊ ဟာဗော် မြို့အစရှိသောမေဒိ နိုင်ငံမြို့ရွာ တို့၌ထား ၏
12 Because they obeyed not the voice of YHWH their Elohim, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of YHWH commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.
၁၂အကြောင်း မူကား၊ သူတို့သည်မိမိ တို့ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ စကား တော်ကို နား မ ထောင်၊ ဖွဲ့တော်မူသောပဋိညဉ် ကို၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ကျွန် မောရှေ မှာ ထားသမျှ ကို၎င်း၊ အမှု မ ထားလွန်ကျူး ကြ၏
13 Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.
၁၃ဟေဇကိ မင်းကြီး နန်းစံဆယ် လေး နှစ် တွင် ၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် သနာခရိပ် သည်ယုဒ ပြည်၌ ခိုင်ခံ့ သောမြို့ ရှိသမျှ တို့ကို စစ်ချီ ၍ လုပ်ကြံ လေ၏
14 And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
၁၄ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟေဇကိ သည်အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ရှိ ရာလာခိရှ မြို့သို့ စေလွှတ် ၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်မှား ပါပြီ။ ပြန် သွားတော်မူပါ။ ကိုယ်တော်တင် သမျှကိုထမ်း ပါမည်ဟု လျှောက် စေသော်၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည်ယုဒ ရှင်ဘုရင် ဟေဇကိ ၌ ငွေ အခွက် သုံး ထောင် ၊ ရွှေ အခွက် သုံး ရာကိုတောင်း၏
15 And Hezekiah gave him all the silver that was found in the house of YHWH, and in the treasures of the king's house.
၁၅ဟေဇကိ သည်ဗိမာန် တော်၌၎င်း၊ နန်းတော် ဘဏ္ဍာ တိုက်၌ ၎င်း ၊ တွေ့ သမျှ သောငွေ ကိုပေး ၏
16 At that time did Hezekiah cut off the gold from the doors of the temple of YHWH, and from the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.
၁၆ဗိမာန် တော်တံခါး ၊ တန်ဆာများ၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်အရင်မွမ်းမံ သော တိုင် တန်ဆာများကိုလည်း ချွတ် ၍ အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် အား ပေး ၏
17 And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller's field.
၁၇နောက် တဖန် အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် တာတန် ၊ ရာဗသာရိတ် ၊ ရာဗရှာခ တို့ကို များစွာ သော ဗိုလ်ခြေ နှင့်တကွ လာခိရှ မြို့မှ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၊ ဟေဇကိ မင်းကြီး ထံသို့ စေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ၊ သူတို့သည်ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ခဝါသည် ၏ လယ် နားမှာရှောက်သောလမ်း ၊ အထက် ရေကန် ပြွန်ဝ ၌ ရပ် နေကြ၏
18 And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.
၁၈ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို ခေါ် သောအခါ ၊ ဟိလခိ သား ဖြစ်သော နန်းတော် အုပ် ဧလျာကိမ် ၊ စာရေး တော်ကြီးရှေဗန ၊ အာသပ် သား အတွင်းဝန် ယောအာ တို့သည် သူ တို့ထံသို့ ထွက် ပြီးလျှင်၊ “
19 And Rab-shakeh said unto them, Speak ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
၁၉ရာဗရှာခ က၊ မဟာ အရှင်မင်းကြီး ၊ အာရှုရိ ရှင် ဘုရင်သည် ဟေဇကိ ကို မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ သင်ခိုလှုံ သဖြင့်ခိုလှုံ ရာကား အဘယ်သို့ နည်း
20 Thou sayest, (but they are but vain words, ) I have counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?
၂၀စစ်တိုက် လောက်အောင် ဉာဏ် သတ္တိ၊ အစွမ်း သတ္တိနှင့် ငါပြည့်စုံသည်ဟု အချည်းနှီး သော စကား ကို သင်ဆို ပါသည်တကား။ ငါ့ ကို ပုန်ကန် ခြင်းငှါ အဘယ်သူ ကိုကိုးစား သနည်း
21 Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharoah king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
၂၁ကျိုး သောကျူလုံး တောင်ဝေး တည်းဟူသောအဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်ကို ကိုးစား ပါသည်တကား။ ထိုကျူလုံးသည် မှီသောသူ ၏လက် ကို ဖောက် ၍ လျှိုသွားလိမ့်မည်။ ထို သို့အဲဂုတ္တု မင်းကြီး ဖာရော ဘုရင်သည် မိမိ ၌ မှီ သော သူအပေါင်း တို့ကိုပြု လိမ့်မည်
22 But if ye say unto me, We trust in YHWH our Elohim: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
၂၂သင်တို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် ငါ တို့၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကိုးစား သည်ဟု ဆို ပြန်လျှင် ၊ ဟေဇကိ သည် မြင့် သောအရပ်ဌာနနှင့် ယဇ် ပလ္လင်တို့ကို ပယ် ၍ ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့မှာ ဤ မည်သောယဇ် ပလ္လင်ရှေ့ ၌သာ ကိုးကွယ် ရမည်ဟုယုဒ ပြည်သူယေရုရှလင် မြို့သားတို့ကိုမှာ ထားသဖြင့် ၊ သင်တို့ပြစ်မှားသောဘုရားဖြစ်သည် မ ဟုတ်လော။
23 Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my master the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
၂၃သို့ဖြစ်၍ ယခု တွင် ငါ့ သခင် အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၌ အာမခံ တို့ကိုအပ်ပါလော့။ သင် ၌ မြင်းစီး သူရဲ လုံလောက် အောင်ရှိလျှင် မြင်း နှစ်ထောင် တို့ကိုငါပေး မည်
24 How then wilt thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master's servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
၂၄သင်သည် ငါ့ သခင် ၏ကျွန် တို့တွင် အငယ်ဆုံး သောဗိုလ် ကိုအဘယ်သို့ လှန် နိုင်မည်နည်း။ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်မှ ရထား များ၊ မြင်းစီး သူရဲများကို ရမည်ဟုယုံ ပါသည်တကား
25 Am I now come up without YHWH against this place to destroy it? YHWH said to me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
၂၅ထာဝရဘုရား ၏အခွင့် မရှိဘဲ ဤ ပြည် ကိုဖျက်ဆီး ခြင်းငှါ ငါလာ သလော။ ထို” ပြည် ကို သွား ၍ ဖျက်ဆီး လော့ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ အား မိန့် တော်မူပြီ။ ဤအကြောင်းအရာများကိုပြန်ပြောကြလော့ဟု ပြောဆို၏
26 Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebna, and Joah, unto Rab-shakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and talk not with us in the Jews' language in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
၂၆ထိုအခါ ဟိလခိ သား ဧလျာကိမ် ၊ ရှေဗန ၊ ယောအာ တို့က ၊ ရှုရိ ဘာသာစကားအားဖြင့်ကျွန် တော်တို့အား အမိန့် ရှိပါလော့။ ထိုစကားကို ကျွန်တော် တို့သည်နားလည် ပါ၏။ မြို့ရိုး ပေါ် မှာ ရှိသောသူ တို့သည် ကြားရအောင် ယုဒ ဘာသာစကားအားဖြင့် အမိန့် မ ရှိ ပါနှင့်ဟု ရာဗရှာခ ကိုဆို ကြလျှင်၊”
27 But Rab-shakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you.
၂၇ရာဗရှာခ က၊ ငါ့ သခင် သည် သင် ၏သခင် နှင့် သင့် အား သာဤ စကား ကိုပြော စေခြင်းငှါ ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသလော။ မြို့ရိုး” ပေါ် မှာ ထိုင် လျက် သင်တို့နှင့်အတူမိမိ တို့မစင် ကိုစား ၍ ၊ မိမိတို့ရေ ဟောင်းကို သောက် ရသောသူ တို့ရှိရာသို့ စေလွှတ်တော်မူသည် မ ဟုတ်လော ဟုဆို ပြီးလျှင်၊”
28 Then Rab-shakeh stood and cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and spake, saying, Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:
၂၈ရာဗရှာခ သည်ထ ၍ ယုဒ ဘာသာ စကားအားဖြင့် ကျယ် သောအသံ နှင့် ကြွေးကြော် လျက် ၊ မဟာ အရှင်မင်းကြီး အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကိုနားထောင် ကြလော့
29 Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:
၂၉ရှင်ဘုရင် မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ ဟေဇကိ သည် သင် တို့ကိုမ လှည့်စား စေနှင့်။ သူသည်သင် တို့ကိုငါ့ လက် မှ ကယ်ယူ ခြင်းငှါ မ တတ်နိုင်။
30 Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in YHWH, saying, YHWH will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.
၃၀ဟေဇကိ က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ တို့ကိုဧကန်အမှန်ကယ်ယူ တော်မူမည်။ ဤ မြို့ သည် အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် သို့ မ ရောက် ရဟု ဆို သဖြင့် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို မ ကိုးစား စေနှင့်
31 Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:
၃၁ဟေဇကိ စကားကို နား မ ထောင်ကြနှင့်
32 Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, YHWH will deliver us.
၃၂အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ ငါ နှင့် မိဿဟာယ ဖွဲ့ ကြ။ ငါ့ ထံသို့ ထွက် လာကြ။ သင်တို့သည်မ သေ အသက်ရှင် မည်အကြောင်း၊ သင် တို့ပြည် နှင့် တူသော ပြည် တည်းဟူသော ဆန် စပါး စပျစ်ရည် နှင့် ပြည့်စုံသောပြည် ၊ မုန့် နှင့် စပျစ် ဥယျာဉ်၊ သံလွင် ဆီ ၊ ပျားရည် များသောပြည် သို့ ပို့ခြင်းငှါငါ မ လာ မှီတိုင်အောင်သင် တို့သည် ကိုယ် စပျစ် ပင်၏အသီး၊ ကိုယ် သင်္ဘော သဖန်းပင်၏အသီးကိုစား ၍ ၊ ကိုယ် ရေကန် ကရေ ကို သောက် လျက် နေကြဦးလော့
33 Hath any of the elohim of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
၃၃ဟေဇကိ က၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ တို့ကိုကယ်ယူ တော်မူမည်ဟု မ ဖြားယောင်း စေနှင့်။ အပြည်ပြည် သော ဘုရား တို့သည် မိမိ တို့ပြည် များကို အာရှုရိ ရှင်ဘုရင် လက် မှ ကယ်လွှတ် ကြပြီလော။
34 Where are the elohim of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the elohim of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?
၃၄ဟာမတ် ပြည်၏ဘုရား၊ အာပဒ် ပြည်၏ ဘုရား တို့သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိကြသနည်း။ သေဖရဝိမ် ပြည်၊ ဟေန ပြည်၊ ဣဝါ ပြည်၏ ဘုရား တို့သည် အဘယ် မှာရှိကြသနည်း။ သူတို့သည် ရှမာရိ ပြည်ကို ငါ့ လက် မှ ကယ်လွှတ် ကြပြီလော
35 Who are they among all the elohim of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that YHWH should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?
၃၅ထိုအပြည်ပြည်သောဘုရား တို့တွင် အဘယ်မည်သော ဘုရားသည် မိမိ ပြည် ကိုငါ့ လက် မှ ကယ်လွှတ် ဘူးသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့ကို ငါ့ လက် မှ အဘယ်သို့ကယ်လွှတ် နိုင်မည်နည်းဟု ဆိုလေ၏
36 But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
၃၆ယုဒလူ တို့လည်း စကား တခွန်းကိုမျှမ ပြန် ဘဲ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာနေကြ၏။ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ပြန် မ ပြောနှင့်ဟု ရှင်ဘုရင် အမိန့် တော်ရှိသတည်း
37 Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rab-shakeh.
၃၇ထိုအခါ ဟိလခိ သား ဖြစ်သော နန်းတော် အုပ် ဧလျာကိမ် ၊ စာရေး တော်ကြီး ရှေဗန ၊ အာသပ် သား အတွင်းဝန်ယောအာ တို့သည် မိမိတို့အဝတ်ကို ဆုတ် လျက် ၊ ဟေဇကိ မင်းထံသို့ လာ ၍ ရာဗရှာခ စကား ကိုကြား လျှောက်ကြ၏
