2 Corinthians 13
1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Esta é a terceira vez [que] venho até vós; pela boca de duas ou três testemunhas toda palavra será firmada.
2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:
Eu já tinha dito antes, e disse quando estive presente pela segunda vez, e agora ausente o escrevo aos que pecaram anteriormente, e a todos os demais, que se vier outra vez, não [lhes] serei tolerante;
3 Since ye seek a proof of the Messiah speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
Pois buscais prova de que Cristo fala em mim, o qual em vós não é fraco, mas que é poderoso entre vós.
4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of YHWH. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of YHWH toward you.
Porque ainda que tenha sido crucificado por fraqueza, contudo ele vive pelo poder de Deus. Porque também nós somos fracos nele, porém com ele viveremos pelo poder de Deus em vós.
5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Yahushua the Messiah is in you, except ye be reprobates?
Examinai-vos a vós mesmos, se estais na fé; provai-vos a vós mesmos. Ou não conheceis a vós mesmos, que Jesus Cristo está em vós? A menos que vós estejais reprovados.
6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
Mas espero que vós entendereis que nós não somos reprovados.
7 Now I pray to YHWH that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
E eu desejo [pedindo] a Deus que nenhum mal façais; não para que sejamos achados aprovados, mas para que vós façais o bem, e nós sejamos como reprovados.
8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
Porque nada podemos fazer contra a verdade, mas sim pela verdade.
9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.
Pois nós nos alegramos quando estamos fracos, e vós estais fortes; e isto também desejamos: o vosso aperfeiçoamento.
10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which YHWH hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
Por isso eu escrevo estas coisas ausente; para que, quando estiver presente não use de rigor, segundo o poder que o Senhor tem me dado, para edificação, e não para destruição.
11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the Elohim of love and peace shall be with you.
Quanto às demais coisas, irmãos, alegrai-vos, sede íntegros, consolai-vos, tenhais um mesmo entendimento, vivei em paz; e o Deus de amor e paz será convosco.
12 Greet one another with an holy kiss.
Saudai-vos uns aos outros com beijo santo.
13 All the saints salute you.
Todos os santos vos saúdam.
14 The favour of the Master Yahushua the Messiah, and the love of YHWH, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. amein.
A graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo, e o amor de Deus, e a comunhão do Espírito Santo seja com todos vós. Amém.
