1 Samuel 1
1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:
၁ဧဖရတ် မြို့သားဇုဖ ၊ တောဟူ ၊ ဧလိဟူ ၊ ယေရောဟံ မှ ဆင်းသက်၍ ဧဖရိမ် တောင် ပေါ်မှာ ရာမသိမ် ဇုဖိမ်မြို့၌နေသောဧလကာန အမည် ရှိသောသူတယောက် ရှိ ၏။
2 And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.
၂ထိုသူ သည် မယား နှစ် ယောက်ရှိ၏။ တယောက် ကား၊ ဟန္န ၊ တယောက်ကား ပေနိန္န အမည် ရှိ၏။ ပေနိန္န ၌ သားသမီး ရှိ ၏။ ဟန္န ၌ မ ရှိ။
3 And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto YHWH of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of YHWH, were there.
၃ဧလကာနသည် ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကိုးကွယ် ၍ ယဇ် ပူဇော်ခြင်းငှါ ၊ မိမိ နေရာ မြို့ မှ ရှိလော မြို့သို့ နှစ် တိုင်းသွား မြဲရှိ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧလိ ၏သား ဟောဖနိ နှင့် ဖိနဟတ် သည် ရှိလောမြို့၌ နေသတည်း။
4 And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:
၄ဧလကာန သည် ယဇ် ပူဇော်အချိန် ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ မယား ပေနိန္န နှင့် သူ ၏ သား သမီး အပေါင်း တို့အား ဝေမျှ ၏။
5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but YHWH had shut up her womb.
၅ဟန္န ကိုချစ် သောကြောင့် နှစ်ဆသောအဘို့ ကိုပေး ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဟန္န အား သား ဘွားသောအခွင့်ကိုပေးတော်မမူ။
6 And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because YHWH had shut up her womb.
၆ထိုသို့ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အခွင့်ကိုပေးတော်မမူသောကြောင့် ၊ ဟန္န စိတ် ဆိုးညစ်အောင် ရန်သူ သည် အလွန်နှောင့်ယှက် တတ်၏။
7 And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of YHWH, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.
၇နှစ်စဉ် မပြတ်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်သို့ သွား သောအခါ ၊ ရန်သူနှောင့်ရှက် သဖြင့် ဟန္နသည် အစာမ စား နိုင်၊ ငို လျက် နေတတ်၏။
8 Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?
၈သူ ၏ ခင်ပွန်း ဧလကာန က၊ ဟန္န အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငို သနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မ စား ဘဲနေသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် စိတ် ညှိုးငယ် သနည်း။ သား တကျိပ် ထက် သင် ၌ ငါ သာ၍ ကောင်းသည် မ ဟုတ် လော ဟုဆို ၏။
9 So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of YHWH.
၉ရှိလော မြို့၌ စား သောက် ကြသောနောက် ၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ဧလိ သည် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော် တိုင် နား မှာ ထိုင် စဉ်၊
10 And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto YHWH, and wept sore.
၁၀ဟန္နသည် ညှိုးငယ် သောစိတ် နှင့် ထ၍၊ မျက်ရည် များစွာကျလျက် ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ဆုတောင်း သည် ကား၊
11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O YHWH of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto YHWH all the days of his life, and there shall no rasor come upon his head.
၁၁အိုကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ကျွန် မကို မေ့လျော့ တော်မ မူဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် မ၏ ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းကို ကြည့်ရှု အောက်မေ့ သဖြင့် ၊ သား ယောက်ျား ကိုပေး သနားတော်မူလျှင်၊ သူ၏ ဆံပင်ရိတ်ခြင်းကို အလျှင်းမပြု။ တသက်လုံး ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ကျွန်ဖြစ်စေခြင်းငှါကျွန်မအပ် ပါမည် ဟု သစ္စာ ဂတိပြုလေ၏။
12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before YHWH, that Eli marked her mouth.
၁၂ဟန္နသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ကြာမြင့် စွာ ဆုတောင်း စဉ်၊ ဧလိ သည် သူ ၏ နှုတ် ကို ကြည့် မှတ် လေ၏။
13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.
၁၃စိတ် နှလုံးနှင့် ဆုတောင်း ၍ နှုတ်ခမ်း လှုပ် သော်လည်း၊ စကား သံမ ထွက်သောကြောင့်၊ ယစ်မူး သည်ဟု ဧလိ ထင် လျက်၊
14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.
၁၄သင်သည် အဘယ်မျှ ကာလပတ်လုံး ယစ်မူး လိမ့်မည်နည်း။ သင် ၏ စပျစ်ရည် ကို ပယ် ရှောင်လော့ ဟု ဆို ၏။
15 And Hannah answered and said, No, mymaster, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before YHWH.
၁၅ဟန္န ကလည်း၊ မ ဟုတ်ပါအရှင်။ ကျွန်မ သည် စိတ်ညှိုးငယ် သော မိန်းမ ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ စပျစ်ရည် ကို မသောက် ပါ၊ သေရည် သေရက်ကို မ သောက် ပါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ စိတ် နှလုံးကို သွန်းလောင်း လျက် နေပါ၏။
16 Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.
၁၆ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ကျွန် မကို အဓမ္မ မိန်းမ ဟူ၍ မ မှတ် ပါနှင့်။ မြည်တမ်း စရာ အကြောင်း၊ ဝမ်းနည်း စရာ အကြောင်းများ သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ယခု တိုင်အောင် လျှောက် နေပါသည်ဟု ပြန် ပြောသော်၊ ဧလိ က၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ် စွာသွား လော့။
17 Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the Elohim of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.
၁၇ယခု ဆုတောင်း သည်အတိုင်း၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်ပေး သနားတော်မူပါစေသောဟု မြွက်ဆို ၏။
18 And she said, Let thine handmaid find favour in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.
၁၈ဟန္နကလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ကျွန် မသည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ မျက်နှာ ရပါစေသောဟု လျှောက် ပြီးမှ ၊ ခြားနားသော မျက်နှာ နှင့် သွား ၍ အစာစား လေ၏။
19 And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before YHWH, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and YHWH remembered her.
၁၉ထိုသူတို့သည် နံနက် စောစောထ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ကိုးကွယ် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ရာမ မြို့မှာရှိသော မိမိ တို့အိမ် သို့ ပြန် သွားကြ၏။ ထိုအခါ ဧလကာန သည် မယား ဟန္န နှင့် ဆက်ဆံ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား အောက်မေ့ တော်မူသဖြင့်၊
20 Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of YHWH.
၂၀ဟန္န သည် ပဋိသန္ဓေ ယူ၍ ကာလ အချိန်စေ့ သောအခါ ၊ သား ယောက်ျားကို ဘွားမြင် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထိုသားကို ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ၌ဆုတောင်း သောကြောင့် ၊ ရှမွေလ အမည် ဖြင့် မှည့် လေ၏။
21 And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto YHWH the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.
၂၁ဧလကာန သည် အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့နှင့်အတူနှစ်စဉ် ပြုရသော ယဇ် ကို၎င်း၊ သစ္စာ ဂတိ နှင့်ဆိုင်သော ပူဇော်သက္ကာကို၎င်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အား ပူဇော် ခြင်းငှါ တက် သွားသောအခါ -၊
22 But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before YHWH, and there abide for ever.
၂၂ဟန္န က၊ နို့ နှင့်ကွာပြီးမှ သူငယ် ကို ဆောင် သွားပါမည်။ ထိုအခါ သူသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်သို့ ရောက် ၍ အမြဲ နေ ရလိမ့်မည်ဟုဆို လျှင်၊
23 And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only YHWH establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
၂၃ခင်ပွန်း ဧလကာန က၊ စိတ် ရှိသည် အတိုင်းပြု လော့။ နို့ နှင့်မကွာမှီတိုင်အောင် နေ လော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဂတိ တော်သာ တည် ပါစေသောဟု ဝန်ခံ၍၊ မယားသည် သူငယ် ကို နို့ တိုက်လျက် နို့ မကွာမှီတိုင်အောင် မသွားဘဲနေ ၏။
24 And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of YHWH in Shiloh: and the child was young.
၂၄နို့ ကွာပြီးမှ၊ အသက်သုံး နှစ်ရှိသောနွားတကောင်၊ မုန့်ညက် တ ဧဖာ ၊ စပျစ်ရည် တဘူးနှင့်တကွသူငယ်ကို ဆောင် သွား၍၊ ရှိလော မြို့၌ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အိမ် တော်သို့ ရောက်လေ၏။ ထိုအခါ သူငယ် သည် အသက် နုသေး၏။
25 And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.
၂၅နွား ကိုသတ် ၍ သူငယ် ကို ဧလိ ထံသို့ သွင်း လျက်၊ ဟန္နက၊ ကျွန်မ၏သခင်၊
26 And she said, Oh mymaster, as thy soul liveth, mymaster, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto YHWH.
၂၆ကိုယ်တော် အသက် ရှင်သည်အတိုင်း၊ ကျွန်မ သည် ယမန်တခါ ဤ အရပ်၌ ကိုယ်တော် အနား မှာ ရပ် လျက် ဆုတောင်း သော မိန်းမ ဖြစ်ပါ၏။
27 For this child I prayed; and YHWH hath given me my petition which I asked of him:
၂၇ထိုအခါ ဤ သူငယ် ကို ရမည်အကြောင်းဆုတောင်း ပါ၏။ တောင်း သည်အတိုင်း ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ပေး သနားတော်မူပြီ။
28 Therefore also I have lent him to YHWH; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to YHWH. And he worshipped YHWH there.
၂၈ထိုကြောင့် ကျွန်မ သည် သူ့ ကို ထာဝရဘုရား အား ငှါး ပါပြီ။ သူ သည် တသက်လုံး ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်၌ အငှါး ခံ၍ နေ ရပါမည်သခင်ဟု လျှောက်ပြီးမှ ၊ ထို အရပ်၌ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို ကိုးကွယ် ကြ၏။
