1 Kings 14
1 At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.
當時ヤラベアムの子アビヤ疾ゐたり
2 And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.
ヤラベアム其妻に言けるは請ふ起て装を改へ人をして汝がヤラベアムの妻なるを知しめずしてシロに往け彼處にわが此民の王となるべきを我に告たる預言者アヒヤをる
3 And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.
汝の手に十のパン及び菓子と一瓶の蜜を取て彼の所に往け彼汝に此子の如何になるかを示すべしと
4 And Jeroboam's wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.
ヤラベアムの妻是爲し起てシロに往きアヒヤの家に至りしがアヒヤは年齢のために其目凝て見ることを得ざりき
5 And YHWH said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.
ヱホバ、アヒヤにいひたまひけるは視よヤラベアムの妻其子疾るに因て其に付て汝に一の事を諮んとて來る汝斯々彼に言べし其は彼入り來る時其身を他の人とすべければなり
6 And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.
彼が戸の所に入來れる時アヒヤ其履聲を聞て言けるはヤラベアムの妻入よ汝何ぞ其身を他の人とするや我汝に嚴酷き事を告るを命ぜらる
7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith YHWH Elohim of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,
往てヤラベアムに告べしイスラエルの神ヱホバ斯言たまふ我汝を民の中より擧げ我民イスラエルの上に汝を君となし
8 And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;
國をダビデの家より裂き離して之を汝に與へたるに汝は我僕ダビデの我が命令を守りて一心に我に從ひ唯わが目に適ふ事のみを爲しが如くならずして
9 But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other elohim, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:
汝の前に在し凡の者よりも惡を爲し往て汝のために他の神と鋳たる像を造り我が怒を激し我を汝の背後に棄たり
10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.
是故に視よ我ヤラベアムの家に災害を下しヤラベアムに屬する男はイスラエルにありて繋がれたる者も繋がれざる者も盡く絶ち人の塵埃を殘りなく除くがごとくヤラベアムの家の後を除くべし
11 Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for YHWH hath spoken it.
ヤラベアムに屬する者の邑に死るをば犬之を食ひ野に死ぬるをば天空の鳥之を食はんヱホバ之を語たまへばなり
12 Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.
爾起て爾の家に往け爾の足の邑に入る時子は死ぬべし
13 And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward YHWH Elohim of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.
而してイスラエル皆彼のために哀みて彼を葬らんヤラベアムに屬する者は唯是のみ墓に入るべし其はヤラベアムの家の中にて彼はイスラエルの神ヱホバに向ひて善き意を懐けばなり
14 Moreover YHWH shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
ヱホバ、イスラエル上に一人の王を興さん彼其日にヤラベアムの家を斷絶べし但し何れの時なるか今即ち是なり
15 For YHWH shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking YHWH to anger.
又ヱホバ、イスラエルを撃て水に搖撼ぐ葦の如くになしたまひイスラエルを其父祖に賜ひし此善地より抜き去りて之を河の外に散したまはん彼等其アシラ像を造りてヱホバの怒を激したればなり
16 And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.
ヱホバ、ヤラベアムの罪の爲にイスラエルを棄たまふべし彼は罪を犯し又イスラエルに罪を犯さしめたりと
17 And Jeroboam's wife arose, and departed, and came to Tirzah: and when she came to the threshold of the door, the child died;
ヤラベアムの妻起て去テルザに至りて家の閾に臻れる時子は死り
18 And they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of YHWH, which he spake by the hand of his servant Ahijah the prophet.
イスラエル皆彼を葬り彼の爲に哀めりヱホバの其僕預言者アヒヤによりて言たまへる言の如し
19 And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
ヤラベアムの其餘の行爲彼が如何に戰ひしか如何に世を治めしかは視よイスラエルの王の歴代志の書に記載る
20 And the days which Jeroboam reigned were two and twenty years: and he slept with this fathers, and Nadab his son reigned in his stead.
ヤラベアムの王たりし日は二十二年なりき彼其父祖と偕に寝りて其子ナダブ之に代りて王となれり
21 And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which YHWH did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess.
ソロモンの子レハベアムはユダに王たりきレハベアムは王と成る時四十一歳なりしがヱホバの其名を置んとてイスラエルの諸の支派の中より選みたまひし邑なるエルサレムにて十七年王たりき其母の名はナアマといひてアンモニ人なり
22 And Judah did evil in the sight of YHWH, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.
ユダ其父祖の爲たる諸の事に超てヱホバの目の前に惡を爲し其犯したる罪に由てヱホバの震怒を激せり
23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.
其は彼等も諸の高山の上と諸の靑木の下に崇邱と碑とアシラ像を建たればなり
24 And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which YHWH cast out before the children of Israel.
其國には亦男色を行ふ者ありぎ彼等はヱホバがイスラエルの子孫の前より逐攘ひたまひし國民の中にありし諸の憎むべき事を傚ひ行へり
25 And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem:
レハベアム王の第五年にエジプトの王シシヤク、エルサレムに攻上り
26 And he took away the treasures of the house of YHWH, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.
ヱホバの家の寶物と王の家の寶物を奪ひたり即ち盡く之を奪ひ亦ソロモンの造りたる金の楯を皆奪ひたり
27 And king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king's house.
レハベアム王其代に銅の楯を造りて王の家の門を守る侍衛の長の手に付せり
28 And it was so, when the king went into the house of YHWH, that the guard bare them, and brought them back into the guard chamber.
王のヱホバの家に入る毎に侍衛之を負ひ復之を侍衛の房に携歸れり
29 Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
レハベアムの其餘の行爲と其凡て爲たる事はユダの王の歴代志の書に記さるるに非ずや
30 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days.
レハベアムとヤラベアムの間に戰爭ありき
31 And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess. And Abijam his son reigned in his stead.
レハベアム其父祖と偕に寝りて其父祖と共にダビデの城に葬らる其母のナアマといひてアンモニ人なり其子アビヤム之に代りて王と爲り
