1 Corinthians 9
1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Yahushua the Messiah our Master? are not ye my work in YHWH?
Não sou eu apostolo? Não sou livre? Não vi eu a Jesus Christo Senhor nosso? Não sois vós a minha obra no Senhor?
2 If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in YHWH.
Se eu não sou apostolo para os outros, ao menos o sou para vós; porque vós sois o sello do meu apostolado no Senhor.
3 Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
Esta é a minha defeza para com os que me condemnam.
4 Have we not power to eat and to drink?
Não temos nós poder de comer e de beber?
5 Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of Yahushua, and Kepha?
Não temos nós poder de levar comnosco uma mulher irmã, como tambem os demais apostolos, e os irmãos do Senhor, e Cephas?
6 Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
Ou só eu e Barnabé não temos poder de não trabalhar?
7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?
Quem jámais milita á sua propria custa? Quem planta a vinha e não come do seu fructo? Ou quem apascenta o gado e não come do leite do gado?
8 Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also?
Digo eu isto segundo os homens? Ou não diz a lei tambem o mesmo?
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth YHWH take care for oxen?
Porque na lei de Moysés está escripto: Não atarás a bocca ao boi que trilha o grão. Porventura tem Deus cuidado dos bois
10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
Ou não o diz certamente por nós? Certamente que por nós está escripto; porque o que lavra deve lavrar com esperança, e o que trilha deve trilhar com esperança de ser participante.
11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?
Se nós vos semeamos as coisas espirituaes, será muito que de vós recolhamos as carnaes?
12 If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the glad tidings of the Messiah.
Se outros participam d'este poder sobre vós, porque não mais justamente nós? Mas nós não usamos d'este poder; antes supportamos tudo, para não pormos impedimento algum ao evangelho de Christo.
13 Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the alter are partakers with the alter?
Não sabeis vós que os que administram as coisas sagradas comem do sagrado? E que os que de continuo estão junto ao altar, participam do altar?
14 Even so hath YHWH ordained that they which preach the glad tidings should live of the glad tidings.
Assim ordenou tambem o Senhor aos que annunciam o evangelho, que vivam do evangelho.
15 But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.
Porém eu de nenhuma d'estas coisas usei, e não escrevi isto para que assim se faça comigo; porque melhor me fôra morrer, do que alguem fazer vã esta minha gloria,
16 For though I preach the glad tidings, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the glad tidings!
Porque, se annuncio o evangelho, não tenho de que me gloriar, pois me é imposta essa obrigação; e ai de mim, se não annunciar o evangelho!
17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the glad tidings is committed unto me.
Porque, se o faço de boamente, terei premio; mas, se de má vontade, de uma dispensação estou encarregado.
18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the glad tidings, I may make the glad tidings of the Messiah without charge, that I abuse not my power in the glad tidings.
Logo, que premio tenho? Que, evangelizando, proponha de graça o evangelho de Christo para não abusar do meu poder no evangelho.
19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
Porque, sendo livre para com todos, fiz-me servo de todos para ganhar ainda mais.
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
E fiz-me como judeo para os judeos, para ganhar os judeos: para os que estão debaixo da lei, como se estivera debaixo da lei, para ganhar os que estão debaixo da lei.
21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to YHWH, but under the law to the Messiah, ) that I might gain them that are without law.
Para os que estão sem lei, como se estivera sem lei (não estando sem lei para com Deus, mas debaixo da lei de Christo), para ganhar os que estão sem lei.
22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
Fiz-me como fraco para os fracos, para ganhar os fracos. Fiz-me tudo para todos, para por todos os meios chegar a salvar alguns.
23 And this I do for the glad tidings's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
E eu faço isto por causa do evangelho, para ser tambem participante d'elle.
24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
Não sabeis vós que os que correm no estadio, todos, na verdade, correm, mas um só leva o premio? Correi de tal maneira que o alcanceis.
25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
E todo aquelle que lucta de tudo se abstem; elles o fazem para alcançar uma corôa corruptivel, nós, porém, uma incorruptivel.
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
Pois eu assim corro, não como a coisa incerta: assim combato, não como batendo no ar,
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Antes subjugo o meu corpo, e o reduzo á servidão, para que, prégando aos outros, eu mesmo não venha d'alguma maneira a ficar reprovado.
